the tractor had about fifty hours on it, everything was going wrong with it, my 5525 MFDW just hit 100 no problems except a radio malfunction. I would negotitae a trade before its way too late

CJ14 plugs fit the old style head on a 6x4. On the GS-11 series motor and newer they changed the heads and use a long reach plug. All HPXs and XUVs require the longer plug. Ask your parts man to cross a BPR2ES, I think it's a RJ18Y Champion, but don't hold me to that.

Hello, I have a Cub Cadet 7234 manual transmission.It is about 12 years old with 500 hours on it. I am looking for a substitute hyd. fluid, as the cub cadet brand is just too expensive. I cant find any information about the type or viscosity of the original hyd. fluid. I think it holds around 6 gallons with a new filter. Any help would be appreciated.

The other day I thought of you---I saw a 6x6 Army dump truck sitting atop a 30,000 yard mound of dirt my buddy got for free (as the saying goes nothing is for free--the township is threatening to sue unless he gets rid of it). It looked like a Tonka toy up here with the bed up. It's for sale too $6000!

Any good tractor or equipment dealer that sells parts and accessories should have them. The teeth are actually used on small backhoe or excavator buckets. The last time I bought them they were about $3-5 each. The Caterpillar dealers used to carry them too. They had a variation of the tooth that was split down the center into a V-shape and were touted as being able to cut through roots and rock better than regular flat teeth. They were forged and fairly robust--and priced accordingly!

Have you not removed the 3 bolts from yours and pulled out the guts? That's the filter location, although filter is a misnomer. I'm more inclined to call it a suction screen. There's a picture of it at John's Tractor, the assembly at the left.

This past Saturday had an odd thing to happen. Was running my excavator and realized it was loosing rpms. Stopped and pulled fuel water seperator bowl off sure it was water in fuel the way it did. No water! So what could it be. No idea how but the fuel cut off lever was in the off position. How did that happen? It had been running at about max rpms for an hour or more when it happened. So check cut off valves. Have about same filter assembly on my CUT and had it to get jammed and slip out of place. Never noticed that until I went to cut it off when changing filters and turn it all I want with no effect.

This one could have been mentioned and I missed it, when it does this are you able to spin off fuel filter or such to see if fuel is running free form the fuel tank or through the filter?

Case did have the rear 3 pth adjustment on at least some tractors. Not sure if an option or not. But I agree for a tractor of any size that would be nice. But then the lift arms on my Kubota's are not any problem to lift them by hand when I am hooking up. On my CUT the lever is very assesible both from the seat or at the right lift arm.

There are more than one quick hitch desing out there. The lowest price ones I have seen pin onto the end of your lift arms. I think there are two designs of those, one sets your lift point back about 4 inches and than can affect your tractor balance and pto shafts. Have also seen them that attached same way but raise the lift point as the hook point was on top of the lift arm. If you have interest info on such I would post that question on quick hits options.

It would surpise me if your tractor did not have a built in over running pto. Think they are required on tractors built for the US. If you don't have a over running pto a rough cut mower should push it with you try to stop wheel travel.

Your pto shaft is smooth with a shear bolt correct? If so, are you sure you are using the full diameter and the proper grade of bolt? If you are are you sure there is nothing binding in the baler? Just thought about your electric clutch, does it shear the bolts when you are engaging the pto or while running? Is there any way to feather the pto engagement if shearing then? Look in your manual. Also if shearing the bolt then are you engaging it without load on the baler and at low engine rpm? If there is no way to feather the engagement and you are doing so at high engine rpm would not surpise me for something to give.

Your tractor pto is 540 rpm, correct?

I'm looking for an oil filter Part number, if any body has cross referenced this filter to a standard Fram, Wix, etc.<br>
The filter on the tractor is a Filton FO-6737, made in Malyasia and I have not had any luck crossing it to a standard brand. I thought I had it crossed to a Fram filter, but I beleive the threads are metric M20 x 1.5, most oil filters are 3/4-16 UNF. Any help would be appreciated. MY Shibaura SD1540B tractor runs great, just want to keep it running good!<br>

There's a reason certain sizes are available. I have to think durability of the loader itself--torquing possibly and stability when raised. Other issues may be lifting ability, and break out force maybe not so great which is why it is shallow.

If you have to have a different size bucket why not have a welding shop cut it down and reweld it?

That's what I had targeted as a replacement (if and when my Yanmar decides that 30 years of work is long enough) so I'll be interested in your opinion as you gain experience with it. The step-through floor, hood-opening design, built-in subframe and PS, telescoping hitch arms, hyd fluid cooler, and ergonomic operator controls impressed me for the price.

It is important to keep it as close to the tractor as possible. Some loaders hang to far out in the front putting extra strain on the front end as well as making it steer harder.
Don't count on finding a new Kubota! There may be one in a bone yard somewhere or it might be a good time to trade up depending on your cicumstances.
