I was mowing today for the first time this year and managed to punch a hole in the sidewall on the right rear drive tire on my 4500. I hit a metal fence post that had fell over this past winter. The tires on this tractor are calcium loaded. Both rear tires are pretty worn and im sure they both should be replaced. What do you guys think it will cost to get 2 14.9-24 R-1's for this machine? I have never bought tractor tires before and in not sure what to expect. Thanks, MIKE

Auer in the USistan, I'm pretty sure it's what is called "strict liability". The lawyers I spoke to wanted $2500-%5000 retainers to start with no promise or even hope of winning. I got my situation resolved by implying that I had an attorney (but really didn't).

Most every town has a dealer that sells and services Kubota lawn tractors, who has or can get you the bolt.

I don't understand "holding the blades to the deck." Bolts that attach the blade to the spindle may be special quality and configuration, but if it's a routine attaching of one part to another, a generic from a hardware store might be adequate.

Or, unless he was servicing it on top of a haystack, find the original!

from my experience in the construction industry you'll have to repair the conncrete first. Otherwise it will keep cracking, regardless of what type of patch is used. Remember, a patch is still a patch. The easiset way is to "mud jack". The hard way is to rip up the concrete yourself. Fix the reason why the concrete cracked.Drill into the old concrete edge to tie in rebar (for the new concrete) into the old slab. Pour new concrete nad seal it to keep out salt and chemicals.

For sealers there are numerous options. One is an epoxy coating. Your local hardware store may also have a simple paint made for garage floors. One thing you need to think about is that a garage floor takes a lot of abuse. everything from tools dropped to hot car tires.

One of the in-laws used to put down epoxy flooring. He was supplied by a company called Niagra coatings. they have a good selection of coatings. I'm thinking about getting him to cover the floor of my workshop while its still empty.

Thanks for the reply. The P15F is a Shibaura And I did find the information on Gray Market Tractor. Got it all rewired and it works fine. Darin over at Stormer Tractors in the states here was very helpful.

Frequently the term "Limited" means that it has a reduced lift height.

Since it seems to blow the fuse when bouncing, I might suspect the seat switch or wiring in that area. Maybe when the suspension on the seat is going up and down, something is rubbing a wire. Another place to look is the electromagnet on the clutch lever. Since the magnet moves everytime the lever moves, there could be chafing going on there.

I just read your post. I am wondering if you might have bent your clutch pedal linkage. There is a rod that connects the clutch pedal to the clutch valve. I had one that got bent and it did not allow the clutch to engage fully. I bent the rod back and adjusted for full travel of the linkage. Problem was cured. The shop that worked on it before, had it a month and never got it fixed. Should have been a ten minute fix. Hopefully your dealer checks that first. It is unlikely that the forward and reverse clutch packs would go bad at the same time.

Then it would be a 1965 October 01 Day Shift correct?

Also according to the model number it is a C1023C

My question is that earlier in the post it stated that the model ID for a 3000 is 3 for early models and D for later models.

Shouldn't a 1965 have 3 for a model number instaed of C?

Well so far I have had no luck getting my funds returned. Talked to Credit Card co I have to call them again Monday. Talked to 2 different sales people at mowproducts finially talked to a Norma she promised to cancel the order and refund my money. Hasn't happened yet. Its been 4 working days. Only took 1 day to bill card and they didn't even have the parts. Sent an e-mail no response.<br>

They use some kind of 3rd party company to handle credit cards and that company is off shore based on what limited info I could find. Oh well!<br>

Hello,
I own a Mahindra 7010 which is a rather large tractor with a cab. I have had a number of problems including a number of recalls. My engine was replaced at 300 hours due to a recall. My front tires had to be replaced due to a design flaw which caused them to make contact with the bucket frame and tear them up. The fuel tank has been replaced/repaired 3 times. The mirrors fell out of their encasements while the trator was not in use. It was during the winter and occured during cold weather. Bad door latches, headlights/horn/ swithches are harnessed together and have always blown a fuse as soon as you use them.
Currently, I was told by the rep straight from Mahindra that the tractor does not have 4-wheel drive. Instead, it has 4-wheel assist. This was pointed out to me because I just experience the drive shaft to the front breaking while I was smoothing out gravel on a road. I had simply put the unit in 4-wheel because it had begun to rain and I needed to get through mud that had not had gravel put on it yet. The rep told me that the front-wheel "assist" is not designed to be used while using the bucket. Needless to say, Mahindra has refused to help in the repair the same as other occasions. The problem list goes on but you get my point.
I have several Mahindra dealers in the area. The one I bought the tractor from has decided to sell Bobcat tractors instead. They wanted to charge me around $500. to just pick up and deliver the tractor. So, I went to another dealer and recieved terribler service and poor results. I assure you that the dealer is as important as the brand tractor you purchase.
I truly understand there can and will be equipment problems and I feel like I have had more than the average. However, he major concern to me and what I will look into greater with my next purchase is the dealer and mfg. support when the problems arise.
