Hardwood, the other half the time EW doesn't listen to you either.

Murf, most of what I have to say over a cell phone very little would ever interest the government as they per the new report (was posted here) they already consider me a terrorist. So they know I have general dislike for them. No plans on blowing up anything (other than maybe two stumps) or shooting anything other than a few rounds tomorrow getting ready for conceal weapons class next week.

The smoke is blowing for the most part to sea or towards North Carolina which is away from me. They just reported 30 square miles burnt or 20,000 acres and about 200 housed lost or damage and the total is up to just over 8 million in damages...a figure that is way way low. Fire is suppose to be now I think three sperate fires with the one nearest to houses and North Myrtle Beach to be under control. Amazing with such loss as of last reports no major injuries or deaths.

Bob; OK a light bulb just came on here. I had a Sears table saw long time ago that the "V" pulley would walk off the end of the arbor shaft. Turned out that the shaft was steel and the pulley was pot metal type soft casting. Over time the hole in the pulley wore its'self a bit bigger and the shaft remained the same size. The pulley did have a square key with a set screw pushing down on the squarw key to hold things in place. So I'm wondering if your bottom wheel is fastened to the shaft in the same manner as my belt pulley was, and maybe the hole thru the wheel has worked it'self a bit out of size? I replaced the pulley and things went fine. Frank.

Locate the source. For instance, if you shut down at the top of a hill and let coast, is the noise there because it's in a rear wheel (likely a brake part)? Or have someone listen for it while you drive slowly. Or jack the rears off the ground, drive them, and use a mechanics stethoscope.

The NT304 is a Jinma, and the 30hp Jinma is imported with more than one engine. Tell me what it says on the engine label (valve cover or side of block) and maybe I can point you in the right direction.<br>

Dennis, we have sold larger Herd seeders and they have always worked well. I haven't sold that model but the larger ones have given us no problems and they do have a good spread pattern.

A double gate will give the best spread pattern.

I agree with KW, they all have their place. Myself I don't care for hydros, too much powwer waste, I've driven them but just never liked them. But I also know nothing about foreigh tractors. Frank.

Oh it certainly does, it cost a former neighbour of mine a new motor for his and his son's 4 wheelers.

It was pretty tough for him to deny he knew his kid was up to no good after his motor toasted too!!!

the paint sounds badly faded. You may be able to buff off the oxidized paint. There are products available to assist in this.

disc ploughing should only be used as the 1st cut on a new paadock, i have a 22 disc one way plough, continually making left hand turns while ploughing up a paddock, the only thing i have that will pull the heavy thing is an old dozer, which is fine because the ground pressure of the dozer tracks is far less then that of my small tractor, after the initial soil breaking with the big plough i then swap for a set of 16 disc offsets which i work the paddock in one direction (up and down the paddock,)then change direction across the paddock, once thats done i put a set of scarifiers (chisels) on the 3pt and run diagonal cross pattern then run the offset disc again in the direction i 1st started them finally i us a set of harrows to break up any big sods of soil left, it takes about a week to go from 50acres of grazing pasture to ready to plant paddock for Barely or oats, it is in heavy black clay soil call Brigalow or melon hole country
