I have the shop manuals but have misplaced 4 of the pages on testing. They are: 19-5 thru 19-8. What I need right now is on page 19-8, fuel control unit.<br>

Anyone have those pages or the specs on the control unit?<br>

I don't know if this is of any help to you but I found this answer to a similar question on another board......(The fuses may not be what you are used to seeing. My YM2000, which is basically a YM240, uses wire fuses. The fuse box is under the dash mounted to the fire wall and has 4 wire fuses. I this it has (1) 5, (2) 10s and (1) 15 amp. Maybe the 240 is setup the same.)

I suspect it was because if the couplers were not clean it would allow debris into the hydraulic system.

Hello all i am just wondering if anyone out there in Tractor point land has access to a workshop manual for a D20a-3 bulldozer? I have searched high and low to no avail, any information would be greatly appreciated thanks.

In June, I bought a "gray" Yanmar 1500D tractor. Though the electrical diagram shows a fuse box containing a 5A, 2 -10 A, and a 15 A fuse, the tractor does not have a fuse box. I can only find a 30A inline fuse. This fuse of which is OK. At the same time, the previous owner installed a small push switch. I put in a new push switch. I do not even know what it is used for. The turn signals do not work. I am unable find the cause of the turn signals not to work. Also the horn does not work. The front lights work OK. Does anyone with a 1500D know how I should tackle this problem regarding the turn signals, what the push switch would be used for, and why the horn does not work.

Hit it on the head. I used to do that all the time. Better than any pistol if you cant put six rounds in a circle at 50 foot! One flare gun round within 20 foot will do the trick at any distance. Legal in most places, after all, it is used for if you get lost?
Dog U say? LOL. All you police officers out there should be able to agree that 1 police dog is about the same as 5 officers as for intimidation! I once witnessed 6 officers surrounded in a half circle a young man who was yelling, (which one first, Ill take ya all!) He was not going down with out a fight (this was before pepepr spray, stun gun etc.) The cannine officer pulls up, gets out with his partner and within 6 seconds the man was on the ground doing what ever the officers wanted! The dog never came off the lead!

All this reminds me of why I won't go to movie theatures anymore. Couple years ago the Mrs. bribed me to go to some hit movie. All during the show cell phones rang, people answered and talked for half an hour. The ushers would walk down and ask them to turn it off, a couple of them said "My phone I'll answer it if I want to". Finally the manager told them to leave, so big rumpus, rest of the crowd cheered as they walked out shouting obsenitys, lost our place in the movie. Last movie I've been to. Frank.

So what would YOU do with a loudmouth in a restaurant

Thanks but I am in the Northern part of Wisconsin, north of Eau Claire.
I just found out that I will have a whole day to myself as my bride dont want me helping (or anywhere near) the girls while they are primping her dorm room. Seems they think I wouldnt have any patience? Hmm Magine that??? While I have field work to do, ya think?
This will free up my schedual enough to drive to location that has parts if I need them. I did not think I would have this kind of extra time early in the week but now its looking better. Its hell trying to remember something you only look at 4-5 times a year (brush cutter, not the wife!)

Frank, if the owner is a real friend, it may be hard but you ought to tell them. That will bet them lossing their money and then finding out you just hated to tell them. You will do it tackful, have no doubt.. If you want to put it in a postive ask them if you can share how they can increase the business...kt

IMHO Ag tires for a lawn is a no-no. You will keep being disappointed at how they rip up the sod especially if it is wet/soft. This will be aggravated with a MFWD set-up.

considering a 3320 is this enough

Aluminum and copper are still routinely used together, the device just has to be UL listed for Al/Cu usage. For example buss bars in panels and contacts for breakers are almost all aluminum. Breakers still accept copper wires (in Residential wiring this usually = romex) at the screw in contact point where you have an aluminum screw / receptacle and a copper wire. The antioxidant compound is most needed at the point where the service cable neutral enters the panel and is attached via screw lugs to the neutral bus. Often water enters the cable (SEU type) outside and travels down the cable beneath the first insulation layer (plastic compound) along the outermost aluminum sheathing (neutral). This water then comes in direct contact with the aluminum bus bar in the panel before it has opportunity to evaporate.

I actually made it up to Scholtens but the normal sales guy was out and a young kid helped me...he really wasn't any help. I've also been down to Sound tractor in Everett. <br>

I still haven't made up my mind but I'm thinking Deere 3x20 series, B3030 or a used Grand L (3130, 3430, 3830). Snohomish County permits are taking forever so this has given me more time to vacillate on which tractor to get. Then again, maybe a L3400 is right...I think the size and capabilities are perfect for my 4 acres but I've read about problems with the cable connecting the PTO and it's over-riding clutch. I also, like the bells and whistles of the JD and Kub models I've mentioned above. You 100% happy with your L3400?<br>

I'm a little concerned to Grand Ls are too big for my lot but I love their capabilities. Maybe if I got one with turfs I'll be okay. Funny thing is on paper the Deere 3x20 aren't that much smaller than the Grand Ls but they sure seem it in person.

Like Murf pointed out adding weight to the fronts does nothing to the mechanical stability since there are no forces or resistance on/to the front axle--unlike a suspension on a car or truck--and even that varies on the type of front axle: independent or straight axle.

However adding weight to the fronts does help apply downforce to the front tires for a little more traction which is handy when sidehilling or climbing front end first.

Anywho...adding spacers to the front axle does nothing (see aformentioned comment about suspension or lack of)

I do a lot of berm-making and some grading of hillsides--okay there aren't many hills here--slopes.
Use gravity to make the work easier by blading downhill--easier on the machine and saves fuel. Depending on the machine and the grade and soil conditions it can feel like double the work pulling a box blade up a hill.

I just got 130 gallons of Off Road Diesel last week at $3.65 a gallon. I try to wait until around the second week of August to get it as, barring any hurricanes or other major events, it's usually as cheap as it's going to get.

I have a 3320 without a cab, and use an MX-5 cutter on hilly terrain. It has enough power to do the job. Other than maybe getting it to go faster on hills while driving on the road, I don't need more power. But with a cab, there may be more weight, and power used for the A/C.
