Thanks for the feedback guys, keep it comming. As far as that expensive orange paint, the objective would be to be competetive. Don't tell me you wouldn't pay for the extra cost of the orange paint, tell me what you would be willing to pay for. It is all about making the customer happy.

One option you may not have considered yet is the little screw in studs they use for ice racing and such.

They are very short with really deep, sharp threads and a very sharp point, sort of like sheet metal screws. The head is a hex shape like a bolt, but the edges are raised to make very sharp points.

A few of those in the thickest part of the tread bar and you could climb a wall.

i got a 6x4 gator that i am having trouble with it flooding gas out the carb.it has a electric fuel pump on it.the float an needle are good.the needle is seating.i have already replaced the fuel pump relay and tore the carb apart an cleaned it.what i am askig could it be the fuel pump.the fuel pump will pump but it dont cut off.thanks for any replies.

i have ford compact 2110 with 18.4 x 26.1 rear turf tires that i am trying to replace with ag tires and wheels. maybe we can make a deal. what size rear tires do you have?

Actually they have already started to offer their first performance parts. A new stainless steel throaty muffler that sounds terrific and increases hp by 5%. The kicker is the price $399.

Have any of you XUV owners noticed a tremendous amount of dust depositing on everything in the cab area while operating under dry conditions? I thought it was coming from the rear but after covering the rear screen with plastic it made no difference. Got any ideas?

My experience is that they usually leak around the valve stem. If it is leaking around the rim, you must have a bent one. I have loaded tires on my MF135. They are loaded inside of tubes. In my case the tube was folded during original installation and eventually cracked and leaked out through the stem. That was 30 years and 3,500 hours later on the tractor. By the time I changed it, the rim was totally shot. Replaced it with a cheap aftermarket one and started over again.

I agree you need to get somebody that has the proper equipment to handle that. In my area one company pretty much services the entire farm and tractor marke. They will come to you making life easy. Handling one of those heavy bad boys is worth the additional $40.00 or so service call.

Some dealerships have the equipment or have the specialized guys come in and do a number of tire fixes at the same time to reduce service costs.

Stumbleupon.com is a Google company now. In my opinion Google is usually very good at not invading your computer and has mostly been in concert with those of us that like a minimalist approach.<br>

You don't have to keep the toolbar, you might even be able to bypass installation. As long as you have a userid at Stumbleupon you can use the service which allows you to indicate your favorite pages. This can be a great place to store a reference to the discussion about Murfs front loader fence pole edge and other things we have a hard time finding later.<br>

It allows you to have a web based directory of your favorites so if you go to a work location without your own computer you still have it.<br>

It gains additional visibility for Tractorpoint as the favorites are indexed and can be made public. It is a great idea for determining which sites have value rather than relying on search engines alone. And from my perspective if I could get people to use it, it would help our ratings to attract additional users.<br>

The link below is for car and driver podcasts that you can listen to on you ipod if you have one.

The idea is that if TP members share common interests, I could make news page comprised of feeds from various sources saving members the time it takes to go to all those sites separately, making TP more of a one stop or home page stop.

I have an L35 and need to put chains on it. Trouble is, there's not enough clearance by the frame for the backhoe. Does anyone know where I can find a spacer to move the rim out far enough to clear?

Also, and somewhat offtopic, I was thinking about wintertime use of the machine, or lack thereof: Isn't it true that diesel fuel is much more stable than the gasoline you'd find in a smaller lawn or garden tractors, and therefore doesn't need to be stabilized or tank-run-dry for winter? I'm just thinking ahead for future winters, as we likely won't even have our new machine until February or March, when it actually begins to warm up a little in North Carolina.

No, in the original design it was mostly the 'at' sign as used in email addresses, but the symbol tripped some default code that I was pimping a website so I had to change them all.

But I am liking the dollar shift, just bought a place in Floreeeda counting on the shift back making for some decent appreciation.

Might even go there one day and see the place..... ;)

My CASE DX25E has the same problem, but my rear filled tires have tubes as the dealer said that they will prevent rim rust out. However it appears that the salt in the tubes corrodes the valve stem so they end up leaking. I've ruined two good quality tire guages too, with salt contamination. I just keep topping up the tires with air as they bleed down ever so slowly.
