Have you looked at the Kubota B7610?

The B7610 is a step up from the BX series, and it offers quite a bit of power for its size. I believe it's exactly what you're looking for.

I just looked up a picture of the Tebben implements, as I've never seen one before now.

Since the Tebben hooks up to the tractor in exactly the same way as any other 3-point implement, I'm sure your problem is a simple one.

After placing the pins of the mower into your tractor's 3-point arms, you should then install a clip over the end of the pin, which prevents it the arm from sliding off of the implement. I'm assuming you don't have these clips installed.

These hitch clips can be found at any Tractor Supply, as well as most hardware stores. They cost about 30 cents each. You'll need three of them........one for each mounting point.

Unless I'm missing something here, I believe your problem can be solved for about one dollar.

Before I go any further here, I would like you to be aware of the fact that the hour meters in these foreign tractors are of very poor quality. I've seen several of these meters quit working well before the 100 hour mark. And due to the fact that these parts are not easy find, most people don't bother replacing them. I suspect the tractor you're looking at probably has quite a few more hours on it than the meter shows -- but that's just a guess on my part.

New 3 digit "F" series tractors like F195, F395, etc. These are still very new to the US and there are no operation manuals or service manuals for them. Parts availability is very limited at this time. It will get better but it could still be many years before the parts supply catches up with them like the YM series tractors.

I'm not sure if $3500.00 is a good price, especially if there are no parts or manuals available for your tractor. Please give the people at Hoye Tractor a call before committing to this tractor.

When auctions like this come up in your area, there is simply no better price to be found! On the other hand, to have either of these items shipped across country would likely end up costing the buyer a small fortune.

Shopping the local auctions is always the best deal, provided you don't jump at the first item that comes up. Some of the equipment has clearly seen its better days. (The pictures generally tell the story) I'm always selective in what I buy, and I never purchase anything that's located too far away, nor anything that has clearly been mistreated or abused. Even so, a fresh coat of paint can be deceiving. It is always best, if possible, to visit the auction site and look at the equipment, before placing a bid, as you will never get a refund on anything you decide to purchase.

my 790 was built to use the pto without sitting on it,I've used a chipper,wood splitter and a generator.
all you do is set the brake, place in neutral, lift the seat forward and pull UP on the safety switch,start the tractor and engage the pto. it has a 2 position switch//push-contact/ then full contact//maybe the switch on your tractor can be swapped out.

I don't tilt them normally to operate as I'm 6'1" and it puts it to low. It is important to adjust the seat to you while checking comfort. Just because it may have fit the last guy doesn't mean it will fit you. It's interesting going between cabs, between the makes some people say some are to wide and that bothers on tree's while mowing or going around buildings. Some of us bigger boys need a little width just to feel comfortable. I do like the fact that on the Kubota cab you can recirculate the air with-in the cab instead of continually getting outside air. Big tractors do it that way and so do all the motor veichles I've ever seen.

Accepting his offer with the intent to turn him into authorities could cause you some trouble too. There are stories of people doing that and the scammers get some guys to pay them a visit. They are thugs and even empty threats will cause sleepless nights. If you do want to play with him you should be completely untraceable, which is sort of hard to do if you have legitimate business and need people to contact you to make a sale.

Hydro is being replaced, no price yet given. Supposed to get it back this week. Has not been a problem here really with out it, just been doing other work around the house that also needed to be done and just resting playing with the kids and grandkids. But now with all the rain here I will be mowing again. Just hoping it will be covered 100% by Kubota as I dont have that kind of money laying about.:(

Well, first of all let me start by saying that comparing a Toolcat to a Gator (or similar) is sort of like trying to compare a Mack dump truck and a 1/2 ton pickup truck.

You pay for that difference too.

I am very pleased with the Toolcat, we now are running our 3rd one, I sold the first one to a buddy of mine who runs a nursery and nursery farm, it is still in daily operation.

I would point out though, that a Toolcat is a bit of a compromise at EVERYTHING it does, but the saving grace is, everything IS what it does. It is a personell and material carrier, it is a light loader, it is a tool carrier, it is turf-friendy, super simple to use on top of rugged and dependable. If I sound like an infommercial it's only because I think it's a good product, and for CERTAIN applications, it's darned handy, probably unbeatable.

The only big drawback is the price. It is about the same price as a comparable sized CUT, strictly from memory, I think the last one was about $35,000.

It sold new for $10,500 according to the link above. And it is a bigger lawn tractor. I'd put that money toward a big downpayment on a new, bigger, better, nicer one with 4-wd. Or spend less than half the money and buy a Fordson 2N, 9N or 8N.

If you don't prime it, it will instantly be wiped out before it has a chance to suck oil from the reservoir. Been there done that.

i tried screwing the knob under the seat all the way in and all the way out nothing happens. there seema to be ho tension on that screw. maybee a broken spring if it has one.

The 7040 would allow you to also do haying if you would like. It would allow a larger mower for the areas you might like to have mowed. To me for the 20 horsepower the 3500 is a cheap investment and security that you would have enough horsepower you could do most anything you'd like!

Don't just send a bill to the county, get on the phone or in person with your elected rep, as the contractor may not be there long. His lack of action to you should be noted as it may be a pattern with others. The county should be able to influence contractors to do the right thing.

buy a Yamaha Grizzly 700 or 660. Reliable and fast, IRS, locking diff., easy steering, powerfull.
Honda only makes a slip differential, Ok for farmers, useless for atving/ mudding.
