just bought tractor 3 point hitch worked 6 months ago but been setting now it wont go up. steering works and steering goes on relief when you turn all the way.plenty of oil at dip stick on top of tranny. any sugestions??? i dont have a service manuel.

I'm not exactly and expert on those Greene machines, but on some tractors if you crank the 3pth lock/speed adjustment knob under the seat all the way closed it will neither go up or down.

i tried screwing the knob under the seat all the way in and all the way out nothing happens. there seema to be ho tension on that screw. maybee a broken spring if it has one. ....
