Frank I know about "Gun Envy", I see lots of $5000+ very accurate off the bench and the other ones see what I have but I do not shoot it cause it worth more unfired. My targets are usually much tighter. So they have ability envy and spend more in hopes of better groups. Time and practice make the shooter more than the price of the gun.

I'm looking at a .44mag level action rifle. Always wanted a lever action same reason you stated.

Your old Daisy is probably worth a small mint. The Red Riders are very much collector items today.

Big gun show in Syracuse April 21-22. I'm also looking for a 50cal BMG bolt action rifle.

If you want we can continue this via e-mail. There is another guy or two that use this site that is fairly compentent about firearms.

In a local newspaper I saw a Ford 3 point 7ft. Sickle bar mower for sale with an asking price of $475.00. Hope that may help to establish a pricing starting point.

Yes, slip clutch - no question.

One thing to look out for is offset. Kubota specs your rear wheel width as ~51" and PTO hp as ~27 - both of which make a 60" tiller a good choice. Normally you'd thing that's plenty wide to till up the tire tracks. But be careful to note whether or not there's an offset. Some tillers don't mount directly behind the tractor. A Caroni 60 incher for example, has a 6.5" offset to the right - which means it would likely miss part of your left tire track

Both are ethylene glycol based but coolant targeted towards diesels use a different additive package.

Be careful about shooting someone's dog even if it is loose and causing problems. I'd rather call animal control first and have them pay to get it out. In some areas it is more of a crime to shoot an animal than a person. If you take it out, no one else must know (ever)and bury it good! Needless to say, don't just wound it.

J.C., I have a 2003 BX2200 with the LA211 factory loader and the woods groudbreaker X 6ft backhoe ,54" deck, that tractor gets used for things my neighbors can't believe, it will lift 880 lbs,(11-80lb water softner bags) dig big holes , mow my grass , the only problem owning it , is everyone else wants something done , well over 300 hrs , not a problem!, Craig.

I can not see or know of any need for a sealant on the caps.

It might be excess thread locking sealer. Typically thread lock is used on cap and rod bolts.

BUT I am not a China engine expert and have only had a couple apart.

He did not say "NICE". He said "pricey". If you Go to the dealer allot of the time they may have an extra operators manual they will give you. You are looking at well over $150 for the service manual.

Depending on the vintage deck, you will have a curved link from one side of the deck (aft side) to the other, This will essentially stabilize the lift from side to side. Your drive shaft will be in the same neck of the woods. Be sure that you have not placed the driveshaft on the wrong side of the hoop. If you have, then you will need to disconnect the shaft, and relocate to the otherside of the hoop, as the drive shaft may be hindering the lift (or lowering) of the deck, causing you your uneven lift or lowering.

No big deal to check - just look under the tractor to make sure that the shaft is on the correct side of the hoop link. There should be stops on the top of the deck, where this hoop will ride. It is really easy to put the shaft on the wrong side - been there done that.

I use Calcium Chloride in my MF135. It rusted through one rim in about 20 years. That is why most have gone a different route.

OK will change again in the fall, thanks to all for the help. One thing I found when I went to change the filter. I had to remove a brace used for the FEL to access the screene covering the filter, a pain, but do-able

I have had questions that got little response and others that went on. There are some of us who are only here on certain days of the week or certain times of the day. It would not be my suggestion to think any one source in life can provide all our answers at a moments notice other than God. Often he reuires our patience. Even my wife failed me this weekend on a serious question on planters.

JD, are you wanting wider tires are a wider set up with your tires. It seems you may be wanting to adjust you wheel base width. If that is what you are after and having no idea with the brand of tractor you have, many tractors rear wheels do have some adjustment built into their rims. You would do good to find a manual which should give you the options and specs and not just begin by taking tires and rims off. If no manual is available and your rims are a single piece you have only one option and that is to switch them from one side to the other (to keep tread in proper direction). If two pieces there are probably options on how the two pieces bolt together to give you more options in the width of the tires. On four wheel drive front ends would assume the only way to adjust that is will rim changes such as rear. Most 2 wheel drive tractors the front axles have adjustment options. Note, if you run loader or such you may have a limit on how wide you are suppose to widen the front axle. Again, you need to get you hands on an operators manual for your tractor or the specs. A very real safety note, if you jack up your tractor to switch the rear wheels, remember the front axle pivots and you must have two jacks and blocks sets under the rear axle to prevent the tractor moving suddenly and becoming unstable or even falling and doing damage to property and persons. kt

I have heard some instances of clogged filters and injectors after switching to ULSD. Like biodiesel, it apparently has a secondary ability - that of cleaning fuel systems. Put into an unusually dirty tank, it can break up the deposits and carry them through the fuel system to the point where eventually something clogs up.
