Sure do what you need to do. I am not sure where else you get a bunch of Engineers, farmers, tractor enthusiasts, statisticians and on and on that actually reply and debate each thread. Best money I ever spent.

I bought the MS 192T about 4 months ago - GREAT little saw, I have a stihl farm boss it runs great but it's too heavy for me to use for any period of time. Couple of observations on the 192. Already had the starter cord and spring in the shop because I was not starting it properly, and didn't take up the loose-ish cord slack before yanking it (to the point of compression on the engine) so the ratchet pulled out as I jerked it and the spring jumped out (dealer gladly fixed under warrenty - another reason to buy a stihl). The saw is so light (6lb) that I can use it with one hand ....... which means the other hand is often holding logs and is apt to meet the saw blade someday if I continue doing it. Bad me. Fuel tank runs out quickly. Overall a 9 out of 10, I love it. I also had the 14" bar changed out for a 12" so it's really little after all how many logs that I trim are really bigger than 12", most of my firewood is 8" or less.

Ken and Frank have it right. I have Woods 650 about the same vintage with the same PTO pump setup. You may need to use a small hammer to "help" it along -- just try to pull it straight back; otherwise, it will hang up if it is cocked at any angle. Mine still comes off with a fight today. I think I may have used a Wonder-bar (crow bar) to get it off the first time -- just make sure the pin is depressed.

I bought my bx22 from a dealer in central Ma (Williamsburg) 3 1/2 years ago. I would not go back. There is one dealer in Holyoke Ma. but I am not crazy about them either. I find it interesting in this day and age that some of these dealers aren't more accommodating. I moved from the midwest over fifteen years ago and I am still not used to the harshness overall. Western CT. has a dealer that I have been utilizing and has been great even though I did not buy the tractor from them. R&N in Torrington. It is definitely out of your way but may be worth it.

I'm a firm believer that R-4's are the best all-around/happy medium tire. They'll take much more load than R-1's or R-3's and pretty hard (no pun intended) too puncture.

I won't answer for Murf, but I have done this with mixed results--much depends on the weight of the pulling machine (inertia and momentum), the compactability of the soil (the lower the compactability the more the rim tends to sink in the ground and the machine loses traction). The taller the rim the better, yes. However, the rim needs to be IMHO at least as wide as it is tall--if not wider. Otherwise, it will fall over easily. <br>

If you have a large tree trunk (3 feet dia. or larger by about 4-6' long) that might be the ticket too.

Chief; As you suggested I did pull the battery out yesterday, and reall other than a bit of paint gone off the steel the battery sits on I did'nt find much wrong. I pulled the screen from in front of the radiator, blew some air thru it and the radiator itself and did'nt see any thing wrong. I have no idea whether my dad's old rule on batterys has had anything to do with it or not, but he allways everytime he changed oil in anything put a squirt of motor oil on the battery posts, so I still do that just as if he was still watching over my shoulder. Kind of a mess at times, but never any corrosion on anythiong. Been doing that since the 49 Hudson, so probably will keep doing it. Frank.

Most dealers don't want to get into door panels as there is a lot of fiddly work. A lot of the mechanics end up making a mess and waste a lot of time. Not all dealer have a body shop who are accustomed to working to panels.

AV8R - I know kioti had problems with their dealers in the past as they did not have it direct from Kioti, but a US distribution company like Montana has now. They have pulled back some dealerships and tried to make sure they are financially stable before they give them a dealership. I looked into the local dealership here a few years back and talked with the area reps. I think they are in it for the long haul and have set up the parts centers to prove it.

I have a similar type unit for my ATV (Cabelas brand) I have planted with it for 2 years now and I am very pleased with it's performance. Some things I have noticed... These types of seeders tend to displace more seed than you realize. If I am seeding a product that should use 10 lbs per acre, I will plan on using 1.5 times that amount or 15 lbs per acre. Also, I have found that setting the seeder it is best to set outlet as small as possible while still releasing seed. I would rather make 2 passes over a field rather than run out of seed 3/4 done.

I don't know if the earthway unit has an agitator in the hopper or not (mine does not), with out one, light fluffy seeds like grass seeds are very tough to spread as the get clogged very easily.

I have planted Pheasants Forever food plot mix, Bird and Buck mix and Frigid Forage Brassicas mix and all have done exceptionally well. I have planted where I ran a drag harrow over the filed after seeding and also where I have not. I have not seen much difference in the results but all fields have been heavily disced prior to seeding.

To do in the field would be like brush-hogging or mowing under load for a few hours. It would need to be kept at full load. If you are not loosing oil and you have it coming out the breather then it must be being replaced by fuel oil or antifreeze from a head gasket. Do check the engine temp with a gauge or a hand held laser guided heat detector. There is a unit that would drop in the radiator openning that is economical to buy but use caution removing the cap from a hot engine.

Did the plug work? I have the same tractor with the same problem...identical! My kit did come with the plug and I took everything apart again and installed it. The log splitter did act differently, however, I think the plug blocked the return line stopping the free flow of oil. Maybe the kit came with the wrong plug? My installation instructions did not say for a 4110. They just say Rear auxiliary hydraulic kit.

I need to find a cross for the oil filter on the Mahindra 2015 hst , the Mahindra dealer sells them at $11ea , tried NAPA and serveral others and nothing crosses over from the original mitsubishi oil filter number , Craig.

JJ; Dealers usually offer some warranty on tractors with hours that low, so if your buying it "As is-where is" you should pay a bit less than a dealer would charge. If you buy it, enjoy your tractor. Frank.

I bought my CK20HST 7/1/06 w/a 6'finish mower and paid 12,600 for it. When I compared the financing with Agri Credit (5.9%and Visa 3.9% for the life of the loan it was a no brainer. I was not offered the 0% for 3years. I know I'm off the beaten path but just wanted to tell ya...
