I made up a hose contraption to suck some RV antifreeze from the jug into the pump. mine is a gasoline engine drive so I just pull it over a few times with the switch off till the pink stuff comes out the wand. Frank.

I bought a 10' tandem axle Load Trail dump trailer in March. Probably used it about 20 times with no problems. Paint job is not the best but over all quality is pretty good campared to some others I looked at.

In short, I have around a 2 acre sight that is slightly wet. Some spots more than others. It is at the bottom of about a 15 foot drop in elevation. This is shaped like a horse shoe. It makes a "U" and at the bottom of this "U" shaped ridge its wet after rains I feel soley because it has no where to go being surounded by the "U" shaped ridge.<br>

If I was to have a water hole put in at the base of the "U" where it is the lowest and then had the land graded out and up (towards the opening of the "U") do you think this would work to basically drain the rain runoff water (from the ridge) down into a confined pond/water hole?? Essentially drying up the rest of that 2 acre area at the top of this "U". BECAUSE my yard will be at the very top of this "U" and then extend up and out of there BUT I just dont like how wet that area close to my yard is. I also think, that landscaping that area and making it run down towards a pond/water hole would look real cool. Not that I need it grass (DEFINATELY NOT) but a spot that I can take the brush hog thru every couple of months and maybe plant some cool ornimentals <br>
Question is, do you think that may work and if so, anyone know of a web page that may discuss something like this?<br>

Now that the gasolene price has dropped significantly since we last talked, has anyone seen a huge drop in LP prices yet? I know the oil derivitive or what ever,,,,,, so it should be going down right?
I am going to call tomarro and check on price. The reason for this is the unstable atmosphere in North Korea and the world relations. I know they dont have the oil but if anything starts happening militarily by any countrys, I think this would be an excuse for the price of all fuels to rise? Maybe not? I dont know BUT I think I am going to cut and run (or buy) Was gunna wait till I felt fuel hit rock bottom, but I feel I saved enough cash already by not buying in Aug at $1.69. I will let ya all know in 24 hrs if I bought and for what price.
Wondering if any of you think this crap in North Korea may force the prices back up again? I sure hope not!

The last time I checked the auto paint people, duPont and the gang also sell impliment paint and the price is likely better. If you take it to the auto painter he will have a supplier.

It might be best to switch to an synthetic for the winter as the multiweights are lighter at the cold temperatures. Note Chevron does not have the lighter oil. You need to look at the tech sheets. Some of the lighter oils are not approved in the dino and the blends for all engines. Another reason to just switch to the synthetic.

It is much simpler than a car. The outer plate has the pads and all you do is remove the bolts and you can access the pads.
The problem is the price of the pads. You also need to inspect the cam and the pads for wear. Part of the problem can be the actuator cam being worn and not contacting the pads.
You can get the pads relined if the cost is prohibitive.

I was told that the crabapple root stock will provide protection against some sort of rot that the natural root is susceptible to.

Woodie, fear not, there are both exmptions and additives to fit the bill, while still helping to clean up the air.

There are presently, depending on where you are, three grades of diesel allowed for Highway Diesel, they are Low Sulphur Diesel (LSD, <500ppm sulphur), 2007 EPA ULSD (2007 EPA standard Ultra Low Sulphur diesel, <15ppm sulhur) and finally, 2007 EPA exempt ULSD (<22ppm sulphur. This last category will not last long, it is a phase in grace period to allow for the change-over to happen with the odd ooopsy thrown in.

The problem is if you use the 'old' fuel (LSD in a 2007 EPA compliant vehicle, it will clog the filters or particulate traps in the exhaust, sort of like the problems they had with early catalytics in cars choking up on leaded gasoline.

The oil companies though have been adding additives, as so can you, to the 'new' diesel to provide the lubricating qualities that the sulphur used to provide.

Basically speaking, use Power Service or any good additive and you and your engine will be just fine.

You should only be looking at the 200cx loader for the 2305, 2320 & 2520 series. On the web site it lists 1,277 lbs at 59"...the dealer sales and specification chart shows pivot pin capability at 902 lb, and 899 lbs for the 2320.
it also shows the 2320 lifting more than the 2520 at 59" - 1,124 lbs (2520) and 1,129 lbs (2320), as well as a higher breakout force for the 2320 - Dont ask me where the 1277 lbs came from on the website. And in no way shape of form is the 2320 a more powerful machine than the 2520.
I would like to say i can say from experience, having owned the 2320, and trading it back for the 2520. I have had the pressure checked on my machine, and out of the factory its considerably higher than the stock PSI of 2418. I have no doubt the lifting ability is considerably more than stock pivot pin ratings - I load my truck repeatedly at max height with objects 900- 1000 lbs no hesitation with the 2520. What ever I fit in a 61" bucket goes up and over at max height.

In summary Deere's specifications are inaccurate and are definitely conservative. It would be nice that they had more accurate spec's especially when it shows a middle of the road model having more performance then their higher level. Its clearly not the case, but im sure it causes confusion

I have a great condition garage kept 100% of the time 2001 Kubota B7500 tractor 140 hours, 272 FEL, 60" Landpride FM, and 4' Box Blade. I recently purchased a Dixie Chopper mower and and Bobcat skid steer and do not have the need for my tractor that I once had. I am wondering what would be a good asking price. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was bitten as a teenager when a squirrel fell through the ceiling. It made dad's welding gloves useless when he bit down and wouldn't let go.

And had a squirrel that died i the ceiling and it did smell the place up.

I'm thinking your scratching might be a small bird instead. The animal--whatever it is---could have been living there for some time before the area was enclosed.

I have seen a sort of "crab net" for lack of better terms that is a one-way deal made of netting that allows the critter to get out through the hole but prevents re-entry. I believe they're used for controlling bats too.

You might be able to smoke them out too. Just how (I'm thinking a leaf blower and small nozzle or a shop vac blowing) will take some creativity as to what to use that won't linger but won't kill them either with carbon monoxide. There are smoke sticks that are used for fit-testing face masks that are intended to irritate the lungs if inhaled. Should be able to buy them at safety equipment shops.
