The steering cylinder is bad. The cylinder gets worn or not machined right or rust and fliud passes around the piston seal.

All you have to do is watch the news footage, look at all the happy people, cheering and welcoming the Allied forces, there are only a few insurgents, but that's all it takes to fill CNN's reports......

There's what? About 150,00 people (troops & Civilians) in Iraq now? So if "Iraq" doesn't want us there, why so (relatively) few deaths or even attacks?

JDCman, yes there have been, and continue to be some bad spots, but they are under pressure to change, just like Iraq was, Iran for example, and they can either change, or push their luck just a little too far like Saddam did.

Osama was fighting with weapons supplied by the US to try and drive out the Soviets.

The Shah of Iran was given a the only US Intaglio-type currency printing press. Want to guess where all the high quality conterfeit money is coming from?

While we're putting together this list, let's not forget other places like China, if they ever get thier Army on their bicycles and pointed towards the US be sure to say "Thank you come again!" like the nice man at Wally World that funded them does!!

Just purchased a Steiner 415 from Bates Garage. It is twice the machine that my 410 with a 60" deck was .I even went to a 72" deck that isnt recommended,but it has plenty of power.

I bought my BX23 in May of 2004 with a 60" MMM and I paid around 17500. I think the MMM was around 1800, so that would price the tractor around 15700. Still worth the money, good little machine, I have no complaints with it.

Denis, It's been about 20 years since I was in a similar situation. Even after that amount of time it still hurts when the memories come back. The only advice I can give you is to be as civil to your ex as possible when the child is around. They don't ask to be mixed up in adult issues and of course don't deserve to be in the middle of it either (as I'm sure you know).

Take one day at a time and hold on tight to the things that are solid in your life. You can get the toys and possessions some other time if you still want them.

Another payment method that works is US Post Office money orders. I think they're good for up to $500 each and you can exchange them for cash at the post office. The post office can trace serial numbers to see if they're legit. They don't keep a ton of cash on hand for large amounts so if you're selling something for $20k it's not an option.

Whoops! My excuse is I had just gotten the kid to bed after a long day at work and the day before I had driven back from Michigan. So basically, I was still fried. I took today off to help recover.

I like to mow without the FEL is what I meant to say. I have tried mowing without the MMM and as Murf said, it doesn't work too well. It also doesn't impress the wife.

It does not have a FEL.
It is a Hydro
It does not have any leaks and has been maintained very well throughout the years.
The paint looks great, there are a few scratches from brush and such rubbing during mowing and the above listed cracked grill.
I do not know the serial number but will get it if necessary.

Those are easy to observe wihile operating and I'd also check the top of the tube for looseness as well as to check it well for cracks which most often causes leaks on the front of thse transmissions.

kw: They did have a problem with the early axle bolts like I said, but I thoink derating is more likley realeted to the potentail of someone overturning the CUT trying to lift too much. I have a mid-size backhoe that can lift a lot and there's been many a time I've nearly laid it on its side. Oh yeah, and I stocked up on backhoe seat cushion foam due to chunking it out with me butt cheeks. LOL

We use a simple rule of thumb, we measure the width & length and work out what it would be in cubic feet, then multiply that by 168 pounds per cubic foot, then guess-ti-mate how much to round off for the, well, rounding off, LOL, of the boulder.

It's surprisingly accurate.

Most of the major brands like Landpride, Woods, etc are all rated well and highly talked about. If you only need it for occasional use (non-commercial use), then the KK equipment sold by Tractor Supply Company works fine. I have one of their tillers and it works fine. But I only use it a couple of times a year.
