What brought this up was my heritage! As a half blooded Italian I resent that! (Damm, Just poked myself in the eye with my hand! while talking!)
Really though since I dont drink and I have more time on my hands than I have money and I went to the KK site and saw this

Geeesh! I only paid $1358 for the whole 72" KK tiller!
A guy would almost be better off buying anouther whole tiller for spare parts than too replace the tines!

Of course I am looking at this from a prospective of not having to pay for anything but the steel to build these.
I am able to harden them myself with no added cost.steel would run me close to $150 give or take unless I can come up with some scrap laying around or in the steel bins (of the right material of course)

Was just wondering if any have done this. Thanks

I would suggest you look at the review in Compact Equipment. I would maybe add the Kioti to the list as it is one of the top 3 sellers in this size range.

I never encountered Chiggers until I moved to KY. They seem to be attracted by fruit and we put in a Strawberry bed. After a number of different suggestion we finally found that vinegar and water will kill them. Bleach and water does also but it is tough on the skin. I find it better to just wash down with the vinegar and water after contact than to spray insecticide.<br>
I have a small dog and the puppy mites are affecting her. I have found that this also removes them. Also works better than the insecticide.

I stopped by the JD dealer yesterday. They said that they'd give me a deal on a 48 backhoe with subframe because they were discontinued models. Was quoted $7900 installed, out the door. But when I asked what the 448 would cost, they said, installed $8000 plus $620 tax. Where's the deal????????<br>

They used to be a collaborated effort. The made the articulated and the xx80 series farm tractors for New Holland. It is actually Buhler Versatile. They still make tractors today and have improved greatly over the years to be a very respectable unit.

1*Never noticed any difference myself.
2*I haven't noticed a sulfur whiff either.
3*Off-road is likely identical to furnace oil.
4*No matter what fuel is purchased, it's good to stick with a reasonably high volume dealer.

There are some regional differences with diesel as we are seeing with the 47 different formulations of gasoline.

We get all of our fuel from California refineries, so we are subject to their environmental regs. As a result, we get one grade of diesel fuel that is also sold as home heating oil.

For winter use the local distributor mixes the one grade of diesel/home heating oil he gets with an additive (not kero) to lower the gel point and calls it "winter blend".

As California seems to lead the nation in such things, it seems likely that this program will sooner or later come to your state.

We do also get bulk kero, but based on how puny our diesel cetane numbers are here, I wouldn't think of using it as motor fuel.

I can still get factory loaders for tractors that are 12-15 years old. Considering the popularity of the BX series I don't think it will be a problem.

As for the LA181 being "on the way out", thats simply not correct. They still have tractors in stock, infact I have two more with mowers and loaders comming yet.

I don't know of a sub-compact manufacturer that doesn't use these fans. I try to steer clear of the bush-hog application with them if at all possible.

Hal, don't know what your tool box has but they make a tester like a meat thermometer which is the cheapest tool to check it with or a laser pointer that tell temps but will ruin a hundred dollar bill. I'd not look for more parts as it more then likely would be the sender. IT only seems to be the gauge as if it isn't boiling over then it must be a faulty sender.

How many people here realize that NOt too many years ago, Mexico had a pact with Ruissia to invade the u.S. and not too many years before that a pact with Germany.

Got it delivered last night! Played for about 10 minutes. Now I'm happy I got the larger model, though I can't really compare it to the 7800. Looking forward to more time on it today.

Off road is not the same as on road low sulfur.

Off road is not refined as much to remove the sulfur.

This year on road fuel will take a tremendous hit when the neww sulfur standard hits it. We are expecting to see .30 cent increase.

Off road/ farm/heating has a high sulfur content and the feds are about to try and play with that also.

The dyes are added at the refineries, not locally, so it is a done deal before the tanker ever loads.

The price you were quoted is just about right on the money. With the FEL and cab all the extra remotes. With all those options they are not going to be much cheaper regardless of brand. I personally think that the TN60DA would be a better match for you though.
