Water is figured for weight purpose is 9lbs per gal. rule of thumb. 200gals X 9 = 1,800 lbs. this does not include the tank. With this much water you may want to baffel the tank especialy if you are on hilly ground.

The PTO of your 3130 runs totally independent of the drive clutch. As I'm sure you know, all it takes is a flip of the cute little lever on the right side to engage the PTO clutch. Clutch in or clutch out the PTO is still running if you've got it engaged. Like everyone else said, you don't need an overun clutch.

Dig a hole in the ground that will accomodate what ever weight you prefer 60lbs bags of concrete X number of bags. Make the hole the size of your trash container. install two lift points above top of the hole and fill with concrete. Bent over rebar works well for lift points. When your are finished with your new compactor store it in the hole. Lift with your FEL and compact.

WW,

It seems most of our rural roads have 33 feet from center line right of way. Greatly surprised me when we built a few years ago.

As to power company here cutting trees, they only cut those that are in reach of the lines with the tree standing. Boy if they went to cut all that could hit them if they fell, we would be selling fire wood around the world. To think on it, they only cut what is in the right of way.

need help, jb 4410 will not start unless i jump it off.
new battery, belt tight. once it is started it runs fine, but the rpm gauge doesnt work

You don't mention if the battery will try to or will turn the engine over.

Could the new battery be bad? Could there be a fuse for the alternator and RPM guage that is blown? After you first crank it, can you switch it off and then will it start from it's own battery or must you jump it again? Has the battery been fully charged or has the tractor been run long enough to full charge the new battery? Have you checked the cables for good connection to the battery? (I have done this) Is the battery connected properly? If this engine has glow plugs are they working?

I have a 87'318 with a 218g Onan. Recently I serviced my tractor.I left the key on after turning the drive shaft for access to the grease zert. After about 3-4 hrs i smelt electrical and the top of the coil began to melt.I turned it off and let it cool and tried to start it. I get dash lights and it turns over but no go. I bought a new coil but still no go. Can any body tell me what possibbly is wrong! Thanks so much

Many of the older tractors had a mechanical linkage connected into the throttle for shut down. You might run into a cable shut off that will also cut the fuel.

Here's another reason to keep 1/4 tank or more in your vehicle. And I'm assuming diesels have the pump in the tank like gas vehicles. I've been told that fuel in the tank helps to keep the fuel pump cooled as it's constantly maintaining pressure in the system. Running your vehicle near empty means the fuel pump is out of it's cooling bath and thus wears out faster. If you've ever changed a modern fuel pump they are really pricey, without even including the labor.

We use a 72" blade at times. No porblem for a rear angling blade. For a box blade, I would stick to a 60". It's wide enough to do what you need, but won't be too much to pull.

Congrats on your purchase, I purchased a 3120 last fall. For what it's worth, mine only came with loadmatch, a feature I leave on all the time. I'm sure you will like your 3320. I've been real satisfied with mine.

Do not even think about the rear mount, ita pain in the butt to use. I have one (woods 84") and was planning to mount it on the from and driving it with a hydr. motor. Better still< at leat for me was the Kubota 900 with a closed cab, heater, and power angled blade. Here in mid Maryland it seems to work well. I guess some day I will convert the snow blower to work on the front but not sure if I will ever need it.

I have a ford 1900 with the 7 series hoe. I was told to get a frame or risk the rear case bolts breaking. Woods did not make the frame for mine any longer and I modified it to work on my tractor. The frame works well , it transmit part of the weight and load to an upward push on the front end of the tractor. My bolts on the top link are much larger than the bolts on the case. The bolts on the case are torqued a lot higher than the ones on the lift in order to maximize their holding power and would guess the shock of moving the hoe ie... legs up really puts the hurt on a straight 3-pt arrangement.

Please help me. I need to find out any thing I can about the Hercules Equip Corp. Who bought them? where are they? the ph # has been disc. I have a Herculese 2254 Ser #.N.orM.2254fc030148 4x4 3cyl -w- a loader that was donated to my church. I need to find out who made this for them and manuels- parts-anything I can go on. This can't be the only one made. Someone must know something. Any help would be a blessing. Thanks, Andy I have pics if it will help.

I'd say the 2630 would be the best with a five foot bush-hog mower although the others would work a five foot finish mower with no problem.
