Holy quad exhaust Batman, a cross between a Jaguar, AH Sprite and Corvette. Nice lines, collectible name and plenty of weather stripping and chrome to detail. What a great looking car! Did you get the V-12 with it or just the frame and body?

I could be mistaken but the Miami Vice car was a Testarossa. I remember those big mirrors on the front posts you had to have because rear visibility was nonexistent.

Where do you find the time???

Ok, I have seen the previous postings about welding AL with gas, and duly noted the expertise. The closest that I desire to have contact with gas is after eating a bowl of Hot chili !!! lol<br>

Seriously though, I have been welding for some 30 years, but never AL...rather steel usually. Recently started with a TIG, but, it wasn't mine though I did get rather proficient with it, and had to leave it behind.<br>

My question is this. I have a Lincln AC225 Box. I have been told, that I cannot weld AL with it, as it needs DC for the proper weld current. (I vaguely remember such info from my shop instructor some, ahem, 30 years ago)<br>
Just reading an article in the "Miller Welding" Catalog about a unit called the "Econotig". This affords AC/DC TIG/Stick welding. In the text, it reads "AC output for AL welding and DC output for mild/stainless steel".<br>

Hmmm, I want to weld AL, but now am somewhat befuddled. Anyone know if I can weld AL with my AC unit with AL stick, or must I reinvest in a different unit for ? $500.00 - $1500.00 or more?<br>

Waterfurnace won't talk to me. They ignored the letter I wrote to the president of the company, and when I call I always get directed to the distributor, who always directs me to the same guys who have been her a dozen times already. Maybe they'll talk to a lawyer. I know for a fact that the loop was not installed per spec, but the loop guy swears it will meet requirements. Maybe I'll start there. I've had three different companies look at the unit and all swear it is operating correctly.

A single stage unit if designed right can blow fresh fallen snow just as well as a two stage can. When you get into cleaning up old plow leavings you can get into trouble with bent augers.

They are a strong little unit and daily greasing is recommended on an eight hour work day. That's not many hours on it do yu know what year it is?

I believe there is more then one flaw here. Depending on tractor condition and care I'd clean all grounds and there might be a relay involved but you have lost power to the dash and control over the fuel shut off. Start on either end and check every wire condition and connection into the connectors. If the two systems of power join and run as the same in unison, that is the area where the loss is to the sourse of power.

I believe that is a grey market unit and it is not recognized by Kubota in this country. The american system doesn't support those for parts or service information. You might find an individual importer that might be able to help you for parts and information and service.

I've had mine out and restacked the valves to match excavators. It's not rocket science.

A leak is most likely a loose hose fitting or relief connection. I would look for the simple fix B4 I started tearing it all apart.

Remove the panels and get access and check all.

Every clutch feels a little different. You are right go to the parts house and see how tight a new one is. If the fas is not releasing like is should you fuel mileage will suffer by about 10 to 15 percent.

A 12 oz. spray can from John Deere is only $4.95 and goes a long ways. Nothing like the authentic. I sometimes cover it with a clear top coat that helps with reduced fading.
