Has anyone had experience repairing a 48 BH control valve? I have a small leak but all else is working fine. A full repair kit is ~$200 and a new valve $1800. Are there rebuild shops or rebuilt control valves that one can simply "replace"?
Or can one work on only the valve section that needs repair without totally removing the whole valve manifold?

Chuck

I've had mine out and restacked the valves to match excavators. It's not rocket science.

A leak is most likely a loose hose fitting or relief connection. I would look for the simple fix B4 I started tearing it all apart.

Remove the panels and get access and check all.

Have Fun Harvey ....
