Hello to all, Thanks for the input on my previous questions. I am about to order my new Deere this coming weekend and I am still a little unsure which one I should get. I am debating between the 3120 ehydro and the 3320 Power Reverser. (About the same price) Will the 3120 have all the power I need for the loader and my 5ft. Woods Brush Bull. I have never used a loader before, can someone tell if the 3320 with the power reverser will be OK for this? I know the P/R will be OK for all of my other needs. The extra few HP on the 3320 is tempting, will I really notice the small difference? HP, Transmissions, to many questions for someone leaving an old 601 workmaster.<br>

Are you in the Reno area?

There are many of these vehicles on Craigs list in the SF bay area, where I am. I was hoping for an EFI automatic Tracker or Sidekick, rolled over. And....one I did not have to drive too far to pick up. All the ones under $1000 I wanted so far have been farther away than I wanted to drive.

Medic24; I can only remember of one Belarus dealer in our aeria, and they've been gone for years, very few were sold localy. Depending on how well they sold in your aeria would have a lot to do with parts. I've had some experience trying to bring a couple old Farmall "H" tractors back to life that had sat in a grove or field for years. Unless the Belarus is of some special collector value the "Pasture Finds" in any brand will usually cost more to save than they are worth. Best of luck. Frank.

I installed skid plates this weekend , really not a big deal at all , just nuts and bolts. The bolts on the right side from scv line mount were too short but it was no big deal to loosen floor board and sneak longer bolts into place. Over all the kit is very nice and instructions and pictures were very clear. Took about 3 1/2 hours with out air tools. Definitely worth the protection. JIM

If I put in number two bolts. My snowblower slices through them like soft butter on a warm summers day. Believe it or not I am actually cutting the number 8 bolts in two!!!! Ive replaced a few of them already also. I can turn the auger(s) by hand when the PTO is not engaged. But as I'm Snowblowing I will cut the bolts in half on the Auger(s). I go about 50 feet then thats it. Then I replace them again. Its seems to be blowinmg fine when its working. It just doesn't work for very long.Is no one having this trouble?

Measure your rear tires from outside to outside. Likely you will want to purchase a tiller that will cut out your tracks. You should have enough HP for any standard depth 6' tiller. Note most manufacturers use gear drive in their upper scale tillers, no chains to break or adjust.

Carl, glad I could be of some assistance. It's amazing how much there is to know about something as simple as a gravel roadway isn't it?

A landscape rake is basically a set of large curved spring tines, about the same size, shape & format as a rear blade, but instead of a mouldboard, it has flat spring tines about 1/2" wide and spaced closely together. It is very good at surface finishing and will usually roll all the larger stones of the surface for you. It is also handy for doing things like raking all the leaves off in the spring, or clearing light snow falls, without chewing up the road surface.

Found a hydraulic fluid leak which appears to be coming from the two pop up valves on the top of the hydro unit. I think I remember this being fairly common. Can anyone tell me the fix? Do I need new valves, or are there seals to change? Any tricks, or is it fairly straight forward?

Art. You were right on. Had to make numerous linkage adjustments, but it works perfect now. Found a slight hydraulic leak...but will post that under separate title for the benefit of others.

Bob, that means US made Front end loader,alot better quality than the chinese, more lift capacity, float,
and about a $ 1,000.00 more than the chinese loader, I also think it's worth the extra

I have a erskine front mount for my 790,it does have a low frame mount under the tractor. They make a 54-60-72 inch wide models.<br>
It runs off the rear pto.<br>
The other option is to get the mid pto if advailable and go with the factory blower.

I have the Worksaver Model 500 and the 714H hydraulic.
The kind of auger you get depends on the soil. If you have
any rocks, you need a heavy duty auger. Worksaver does a
lot of PHDs and their heavy duty 3-pt model (model 500)
seems to be stouter than all of those cheaper light duty
units I see around (mostly Leinbach light duty PHDs).

If I were drilling fence post holes, I would use the
smallest diameter auger I could, maybe 6".

OK i took everyones heed on buying a Jinma and bought a ford 1510 today with a loader,4x4 and box scaper,I know i probably paid too much but used compact 4x4 tractors in calif are high.After giving the seller my 56 model 40 john deere(broken down and was given to me along with a disc box scaper and pallet forks,which i am keeping.he gave me a 1k credit towards the 1510 so it cost me 7500 and only has 350 hours and is in mint condition,is this a fair deal?I really like the tractor and it starts everytime and was stored out of the weather all its life

Yep, at the vacation home...on the neighbors 7800. Cleared 8" of fresh snow with his FEL. Makes us awfully glad we have the hydraulic front blade at home. The FEL is a PITA to clear snow with.
