Do you know of a company that makes a disconnect that cuts both power legs and the neutral?

If you do not have to cut the neutral, then if all a disconnect cuts is the two power legs, what is the difference in using a disconnect switch and cutting off the main breaker?

I bought a 200W magnetic heater for my Agracat 2920 (254) last week and I'm returning it and getting a tank heater. The mag heater just isn't make for the WI winters but I was using it to help with starting not the hydraulic pump. It might work just great there, I do suffer the same problem that you do in that regard but I think I'll switch to a lighter fluid to help correct that problem. I don't think PA gets quite as cold or as cold for as long as we do so I might be a good $35 investment. I like the idea of the heat lamp so I might give that a try also, I only use the tractor to clear snow in the winter so it can be a used as needed. Good luck and keep us posted on how you do.

I have used many,many, farm implements and other devices
that use a power take off for power. I have never seen
one that runs counterclockwise. This is in the last 40
years anyway. There may be tractors that do it counter-
clockwise or have dual capability, but I have not seen it.
I assume somewhere some type of adapter is available to
change direction, but I dont see the purpose.

1*When I was growing up a neighbor had a King Midget for a while.
The King Midget was built in Athens Oh a town about 45 miles from here.
Was up in Amish country around Sugarcreek Ohio about 5 years ago. Came across an antique car show in near by Strasbourg Oh. One of the old cars on display was a KING MIDGET. Been to several Antique Car Shows and displays but that was the only one where I ever saw a King Midget on display.
2* Back then another neighbor my cousin who was about 6 years older than me had a Whizzer motor bike. Put me in the mind of a Schwinn bicycle with a motor on it.
Somewhere back in those good old days I found one of the BIG rear wheel pulleys from a Whizzer and installed it on the back wheel of my bicycle then bolted a lawn mower motor to the luggage rack grabbed A BELT AND I Had MY OWN MOTORIZED BICYCLE.
3*My uncle another neighbor back then used to occasionally buy a car fix it up a little then sell it.
One of those cars was a Crosley and another one was a Henry J.
Our local Shriners club still has a Crosley they use in parades.
My uncle Called the H J a Hunka Junk.

I purchased a B7610 last july and like you I finish mow about 4 acres. I am really happy with the results. I also mow for several family members. I now have 85 hrs on my tractor and am still really pleased. I have r4 tires and they are easier on the lawn than I thought they would be. (just watch the turns) I also use mine for box blading and bush hogging and planting feed plots for wildlife so the r4's really do me justice.

Our tiller for our E14 has broken, possibly the tiller drive shaft, we're not sure. We NEED to find a repair manual or somewhere that can fix this. Actually ANY info on these tractors would be appreciated. We are located in the Southeast Tennessee area. Thanks a bunch.

You got me Eric. Some of those monster logging trucks were powered with everything from a 290 hp Cummins to a Cat 3412 to a Detroit 16V92. Don't know much about them. The guys that were logging our property had an old Osh Kosh powered by an old 290 Cummins. It was a roving oil leak.

I think I would be leaning pretty strong towards the 4410 as well. Be sure to pull the battery out and check the radiator, steering cooler, and shelf sheet metal BEFORE you buy it. You might find a nasty surprise that will give you a bargaining chip.

Actually there is only so much arctic air to go around.

If you guys back east are getting slammed, it is with the air mass the would normally reside over Alaska. When it moves south it is replaced by warm air from the Gulf of Alaska and Anchorage gets Kodiak's weather.

Next time you read about the citrus crop freezing in Florida, check the weather in Anchorage. It will be in the forties or warmer.

Is this the first time you've started it since changing the filter? Did you get the filter at the dealer or is it after market? If the gasket doesn't seat within the lip of the housing when you put it on I'd say it's the wrong filter. You may want to make sure the gasket from the previous filter isn't stuck there also. I also have a TC 33D and the squeal during cold weather was eliminated when I changed to a lighter weight hydraulic fluid.

Reading these boards has given me some valuable insight into tractor buying / owning etc. Now I'm ready to buy within days as soon as I can make up my mind. I only have two specific uses for the new tractor: mowing a 2.5 acre rolling lawn with a few trees and snowblowing a 900' paved driveway that has inclines and produces 2-3' drifts along much of the way due to the slope of the land. <br>

I just sold a JD X575 w/62" deck and 47" 2 stage blower. The machine mowed the lawn like a carpet, but couldn't handle the driveway. Lack of weight, not power, seemed to be the issue. I am convinced a CUT is the way to go but am concerned that the larger size/weight of the CUT will not match the mowing quality of the X series. I have narrowed my choices to either a Case DX29 or Kubota 3030 (Both Hydro). If anyone can give me some real world experiences on finish mowing with these size tractors, It would be greatly appreciated!! Wife has given me the green light and I want to move on this before it turns red!!! Thanks for any help.
