Well I will take delivery of my new TC45DA on Monday, if the deal you are looking at does not have a Mid PTO, and the tires are not filled you should expect to pay about 24-25K for a new one so a 5K savings for a machine with only 200 hours seems like a great deal, though until the end of the month you get 0% financing for three years for a new one, take that into consideration when laying out 20K cash 23-25 Financed at 0% becomes 20-21 cash money over three years. Either way seems like you will have a good deal.

This is not a scam, in some states mine being one, the Secretary of State has a list of monies that belongs to it citizens that the payer can not located due to moving or such. It is wise to check these in each state you have lived in if you had any kind of accounts or income in that state. If you do not claim the monies it does go to the state. There are web sites that will do this for pay but it is easy normally to find your state's site.

I have a 4700 I bought new in 2000 and have had this problem. Every year since I've had it, I've had it in too have work done on the 3pt, all under warranty ( it's in there as we type). Finally, today the service manager says they have found and fixed the problem. The 3pt piston had a score and they replaced it, problem solved. We'll see, and why couldn't they find this the other four times??

Thank you gentlemen for all your comments. Ahhh, it is called a "male pipe plug socket". Also, I had "400 hours" imprinted in my mind for the 2nd transmission oil replace rather than "every 400 hours". Since I changed the transmission oil late at 100 hours (guilty!) I guess I am good until 500 hours.

I ended up running #12 THHN. I'm only pulling 300w in a resistive heater, so it will work fine even with a voltage drop (we're at less than 3A). Not really big enough for most tools, but it will run a light or the tank de-icer.

kubota's new hoe's subframes don't hinder midmount attachments---and I wish I had it that way---I have a woods 7500 BH on a L3130GST w/680 hrs. have had no problems except there is too much slop in the hole where the pin connects---soo I ordered TL bks. from Ronnie Bowman and he said that Kubota does not make heavy duty or reinforced TL bks. for the L3130. Tomorrow I am to receive from Tim Honeycutt at Carver equip. a HDTL bkt. & shop manual via UPS. will post results Chas.

Iowa, a 3pth fertilizer spreader is readily available everywhere. It is basically a large funnel with a spinning, finned (PTO driven) disc underneath the funnel.

The material, usually fertilizer, drops onto the spinning disc and gets broadcast into a swath of variable width, depnding on how fast the disc is spinning, how fast the PTO is turning, and how fast the tractor is travelling.

The rate at which the material drops, and the speed of travel determine how thick or thinly it gets applied.

Watch out for the largest 110 Volt compressors. I've seen up to 5 HP compressors that will plug into 110. The problem is if you need to use any substantial extention cord. With a cord longer than 20 ft or so the voltage drop can be enough that the compressor won't start. Most can be rewired for 220 but that takes away much of the portability.

With snow blowers there are no banks making driveway visibility the best it could be! With out the banks on the edges of the driveway the yard drifting and depth in the immediate area of the driveway is far reduced.
