sounds like a head gasket, oil goes up antifreeze goes down is the rad, blowing steam out of the cap?

Reasonable. Be advised though, there have been lots of regrets from Chinese loader buyers. Hopefully yours is an American made loader on a Chinese tractors. With that possible exception, it sounds like a reasonable deal

One thing to consider is how much snow you get and how does it sit? If it's conducive to plowing with a front mount plow, that's the way to go. I'm on a hill top. So the main section of my drive is usually blown clear by wind. The upper section has big drifts. I need a loader to move and pile that as a front plow would struggle once the banks are built up. Plus my gravel is too big (previous owner's mistake) so a front plow would move a ton of rock.

Think about how your snow lies, drifts, etc. Where will you put it? Do you need to lift it? Etc.

On my 96 215 5 speed, the best I've seen has been 22mpg. I usually got around 14 pulling 7,000lbs around 80mph. I'm now running a 305 series tire which seems to of hurt the milage slightly. I have not adjusted for the incorect speedo. Turning the engine up to around 450 rear wheel hp hasn't affected the milage any.

The gear vendors unit is supposed to be an exceptional unit. You would need to get the deisel rated unit if using it on a diesel. The unit will not work in 4wd mode. With the NV4500 5spd trans, I've heard of some trucks breaking their tail shaft housing when the power is turned up. If you are towing, I don't think you'd have the power to use the overdrive. It would be more for dead heads. I think the overdrive would be of more use with a auto truck than the manuals due to the fewer gears in a auto.

You have plenty of power to run what you have asked about as long as it isn't the electric heater that Curtis offers and if it is don't waste your money just get the in line coolant heater.

Also, in addition to what Tommy said.... use Hydraulic Oil as an assembly lube on all seals and gears. Don't want the pump to start up dry.

Sorry I did not see this thread earlier. Do a search for PTO concrete mixer....there is a lot on this subject.

Anyway, I have the "Mixer80", which is the brand sold by
The Smart Farmer. I love it and I have used it many times since I bought it about 6-7 y ago. It is the biggest one I have seen for tractors. Made in Italy (poorly) with a truly awful toplink cylinder (single-acting). It depends on weight to self-dump. First thing I did was convert to a double-acting toplink cylinder. I got the kinks out, now I often call it back to service. I have bent and straightened my modified toplink cyl twice.

Having this unit allows me to mix concrete the way I like it for sidewalks (1.5 aggregate, 0" slump) and load my gravel in one place, my sand in another, and drive over to my workshop to get my Portland. I also mixed ALL the stucco for my new house. It worked great.

Two more points: I used the "homeowner" concrete dump trailers when I was young and ignorant, but I would NEVER do it again. Also, over 2 cy, its call for a readimix truck.

O.K., here's the deal. It is a M9000HD with 35 hrs. equiped with options listed below.

Second remote valve at PTO
8F/8R Hydraulic Shuttle Tranny
4x4

Everything else on the tractor is standard issue for the ROPS tractor.

I am also interested in the 84" LA1251A loader which was quoted at $6545. Is that MSRP? I can't seem to find any MSRP data for the Kubota tractors, or any ag equipment for that matter, anywhere on the web.

I'd agree with Art - it sounds too good. Kubota is now 2 generations past the L4310. Also, the going price in NH/ME for a used L4310 with low hours would probably be in the $17-19k range.

I think until you move up to a machine with position control you will have this issue of leak down. My 2210 did but I just kept an eye on it while bushhogging.

The 4 position valve has 2 functions on the bucket spool, onr that regenerates the fliud to the cylinder and one that lets it out of the cylinder these are only in the dump position. If you push the handle to the right you can feel the extra position it will have alittle catch in it. That why you need a 4 position valve otherwise the fliud will lock up in the cylinder. Hope i got that right.
