The fundamental problem with this country is that you have the adult population split along ideologies represented by two parties.

Pragmatism and problem solving has been tossed out the window.

People consider themselves, liberal, conservative, left or right first and a problem solver maybe never! But they will defend their party line to the end!

Take an issue as fundamental and straight forward as sex crimes against children. 99.99 percent of the voting public will tell you that as an individual they are against pedophilia as allowable behavior in this society. Yet, you couldn�t get them to agree to a mandatory substantial sentence for the first offense, GPS tracking once paroled and extinction with conviction of a second offense.

What the hell is up with this? Either you're for allowance of child predation or you aren't --- it's that simple.

I'm of the belief that once you can get folks working together to solve problems, life in general will get better in this nation --- unfortunately I also believe that the elitist like it just the way it is.

Dissention in the ranks makes it easier to push hidden agendas and mask true course ---

I get a kick out of reminiscing about my buddy a few years ago all worked up and upset because he believed his right to own a �pop gun� was being taken away, (I myself am a avid gun owner), I told him then, that the bigger threat was the danger in the elite controlling the many --- in ten years he won�t even recognize this country!

I have no personal experience in this, but my sister in law is an artist and she buys the pre-made canvas' at a craft store (actually on-line for the best prices). She used to make them but she didn't think she saved enough money to make it worthwhile.

This wouldn't be a probable cause, but since it happened to me, it is possible. If the clutch is assembled backwards in the machine, the rivets will eventually engage the pressure plate and not release properly. There are two sides to the clutch plate, and you have to be carefull which way it is installed. Mine was installed backwards on the asembly line and after about 130 hrs of use, it stopped dis-engaging properly.

The remedy is the same, split the tractor and replace the clutch plate, and assemble it properly.

Not all cow mats are created equal. The crum recycled rubber would not stand up very well, but are softer for the cows. The belting or old conveyor belt would. I guess Murf could give us a read on how long the UHMWPE will last. The UHMWPE will work better on backed snow or ice.

Check with the aftermarket tire people and put on a wide set of tires.

If you have the widest tires already I'd consider cobbing a set of dual tires together. You would only need the wheels and tires some ready rod to clamp and pipe over the rod to hold the distance apart.

I have the 430 FEL on my 4410 and have not found a need for it. I suppose I would order it if I was ordering the machine new, but otherwise would heed the above posts unless you have an unusual application.

Depending upon how many holes you plan on drilling; I would suggest you take a look at the Tractor Supply Center PHD. They are not the top of the line but for the dollar spent IF you are drilling a limited number of fence post holes; pretty tough to beat. I have a PD25 Land Pride PHD which cost near $900 that I have not used yet but is VERY heavy duty and designed for the worst case and found that neighbors have done just as well with bargain brand diggers. If you are digging just a few fence post holes; I think you will do well with the "el cheapo PHD". If you are drilling 100's of fence post holes.......... better think about and heavy duty well built PHD.

Sorry to scupe up your post but the # in your post title is a poison pill for the software. My initial thoughts are has the intial 50 hr. break in service been done PROPERLY? Sounds like the suction screem may possibly be restricted. Can you give us a more detailed description of what is happening. Would love to try and get you up and running. As I recall, some versions of this machine had a recall or TSB to replace the drive coil. My CRS may be mistaken. Let's carry this post forward from here and do our best to get you running again!

Just bought this used 02' JD 4410 w/ loader,backhoa, and belly mower (did not install midmount pto for belly mower yet still got to much dirt to move)little over amonth ago at local dealer i thought i had made a good purchace but im thinking not now. after i had got a good chance to really work the tractor i found out that after a good hour of moving dirt around tractor becomes imobile or wont move still can run all the attachments, but no go fwrd or rvrs it shows a flash code of 1 quick and threee slow which is #10 valve output to forward and reverse coil. if you give it time to sit and rest or cool down i will run for a little bit more the longer you let it sit the longer it will move roughly 1 hour of cool down = 1/2 hour of run time the problem seems to be linked to the reverse side , cause you when you ign. off/on to clear code you can run fwrd. all day long its just when you go to back up. its been back to the dealer 2 times already and still not working right. last time they recalibrated the ecu but that didnt cure it. other then this problem i am very pleased with the tractor performance it works and operates just as i would expect it to. anybody run in to this before or have any ideas? thx.

A. Cat, Glad you got the decision behind you. You couldn't have gone wrong either way. I bought the Frontier LR RL1060L for $470 at a Central Wisconsin Deere dealer. I think I got the last one before the steel price went up! My quotes were wildly differnt depending on who had one in stock or who had to order one. Mine works well, but I wish I had bought the guide wheels with it. They would have helped as I did some landscaping. They run $265 now!! Maybe next summer - winter is on its way now.

There are lots of good rakes out there. I believe Woods makes Frontier and I have a Woods tiller - now that's a fun piece of equipment! Land Pride has great equipment too.

Just spent 2 hours with the new Farm Pro 8240 mowing with 6 foot deck brush hog. Never had air conditioning before.....NEVER BE WITHOUT IT AGAIN!!! No dirt, no sweat, fantastic. The tractor drive and rides very well. It's a foot wider in the rear wheels then my Belarus and it feels much more stable. Setting up the mower and engaging the PTO was a snap. Even when the deck was loaded with grass or bit some earth the tractor didn't get bogged down. I was running it at 1800-2000 RPM. Once the water temperature gauge stabalized at about 5/8 scale it never went higher (red area begins at 3/4). The tractor shifts effortlessly on the fly...no problem synchronizing. The Perkins Turbo responds quickly and smoothly to the throttle. So far what a great machine. It was delivered with 6 hours on the meter it now has 8.

There are only two gripes (if you want to call them that). Ist is the engine noise. The Turbo is louder than the Belarus normally aspirated engine. I assume it's the blower, and the higher RPM's. The 2nd is some vibration between 1400-1500 RPM. I assume it's a normal harmonic because it disappears when the engines goes beyon 1500. In the higher RPM's right up to 2000+ the engine is smooth.

I have a little place in the high desert of California and needed a small tractor to help keep the place.<br>
I recently aquired a little MT16D from a neighbor for cheep.<br>
It is not running and the neighbor says it has a bent push rod. I just got it home and am expecting to work on it this weekend....If I need parts.(I'm sure I will) is there a good source??<br>
