Diesel, you use Mozilla? Have you done something to get the website to load? I use Mozilla at home and TP will not load on it. I have to use IE. But my IE often stalls out so I have to reload the pages constantly to get it fully load. It's the only website I have such problems. So I'm watching this topic with interest!

The connector on my 4310 was at the rear harness below the seat. My ROPS is a folding one with an opening where the light mounts up so you can route the wire through the ROPS. The connector was a "bullet" style if I remember right. I don't know what the rating is, but I think my light is a 45 or 55 watt light that came from JD's accessory catalog.

You may want to contact your dealer or check out the manual. I couldn't find any info on the light kit I found online.

Randy is correct about the FRAM filters. They are not well constructed. Most of their models use a cardboard endcap to close the filter media and it is glued in place. All other filters from other manufacturers that I have looked at use metal endcaps.

In studies, most filters perform almost the same for filtration but not flow capacity. The FRAM filters that I have looked at have the lowest capture volume for particulate and when the filter is "full" it bypasses your oil unfiltered to the critical engine parts.

I use NAPA (Wix Mfd), WIX, and OEM filters. I prefer the NAPA Gold. I know more about the construction of the aftermarket filters, but it is hard for me to believe that an OEM filter would not protect an engine if used properly. I am not aware of any OEM filter that is manufactured by FRAM, but there may be some.

Mike, there will be a considerable amount of money involved in taking a loss on your present mower, and then paying the extra for a new mower, why not look at other alternatives.

You might find for example, that you can pick up a collections system for a similar cost.

The collection system will however help with other things like spring and fall clean-ups, leaves, etc.

Just a thought.

I appreciate all of your comments, it's hard to find info like this locally - most farmers only know what they have and that's it (perhaps - that's the secret to tractor happiness :)

I would like to get the machine that can handle my tasks, without overbuying. I also don't want to buy too small and then wish for something else after 6 months. If my tasks don't change (let's assume, because none of us ever really knows), it sounds like the b7800 can handle the 3 acre rough field, and it's light enough to MMM my clean&green. (and Art points out the quality of the MMM deck system). You guys are making it tough!

Adding rear remotes with or without a FEL is a simple procedure, and can be done with parts that sre readility available from several places. (See Pics.) I added them to the 7800 for less than half the cost of the Kubota kit. If you are interested, let us know. The hookup is straight forward after you understand what the circuit needs to look like.

We set up the 7810 remotes so all the hoses are hidden under the tractor, but safely tucked. The remote plugs are on a bracket bolted to rear axle. I did't want the bracket attached to the ROPS that you get fromm the stock kit, so we did something a little different.

Kubots kit cost for two spools - $850
My cost for three spools(about)- $380

Either way, they add a lot of function to the tractor, and are well worth the money.

You can put the 14LA FEL on a TC33 with SS. The only thing is you cannot have the wheels turned fully when the loader is a ground level. I agree with those who feel the 15LA loader sticks out too far. The question you will need to ask yourself is when will you be turning the SS fully when you have the loader down?

That Would have been my first guess. And if they are not turning off you won't have to worry about the battery going dead after awhile cause the plugs will fry.

When my FIL built his house a subcontractor told him he wasn't paid by the GC. My FIL whipped out his wallet and paid him. When my FIL went to pay the GC for the whole job he expected to get the money he paid the subcontractor back but couldn't. I don't know what went wrong in that case - but it makes the point - you never pay the subcontractor.

yes, my truck has electric brake controls.
