Your NOT going to believe this! I got stung in the back! Just a grazing warning sting (I think) (like I said you wont believe this) NOT from the nest in the back of the back yard! My bride TOLD me to cut the patches of grass that are where the hose's meet (a slight leek from when I water the garden makes for the only green in the neighborhood) I have not cut the lawn since the first week in JUNE! No need NO rain. I was using a push mower around the old fence line that I removed this spring and relocated. It had "T" posts as fence posts for the welded wire fencing. You guessed it! Anouther ground hornet nest. I mowed over the same spot three times consecutively and on the third time I moved the mower back I saw them coming. Leaving the mower in place and running was a good thing as they all consumed the mower except for the one with the right eye that looks left and had a bent wing. For what ever reason he decided to push me a bit faster away and nailed me in the back. YES, I had NO shirt on since it was 87 degree's.
Do you think I got a thank you for cutting these patches of grass? This nest will be no problem. It looks small and I know it only goes down about 10 inches. Besides that I saw only about 25 hornets around the mower. I can handle this one!
Update on the large nest? I see absolutely NO activity around it and plan to investigate this more in the coming days. Makes me wonder if the queen from the other nest decided to relocate after being flooded out twice? More than likely just anouther nest!
I have never had a nest in my yard in 8 years and this year I have 2? I bet you can guess what I will be doing this fall and spring? Filling every hole around with sand and dirt and killing EVERY one of those rotten ass gopher's that I used to get along with!

Im back ,been working ot.
my fronts have "cable" chains and they "roll" a little giving what I need to steer.
the rears with "o" rings are max traction but they do not have the lugs ,they do not hurt my "oil stone "drive way no worse than a scraper blade
alittle stone dust and asphalt in the spring and "good as new"

Trying to hook up a Bush Hog backhoe to NH TC 45D tractor. I get conflicting instructions on hydraulic plumbing. Does anyone have a good hookup using tractor hyd. system. Tracktor has 16LA frontend loader plumbed to diverter block under platform.<br>

We are in the middle of a severe drought. Recently had a rain fall but other than that NONE since june 15th! (Over my township anyways! Oh yeah, 80-98 degree's every day!

I got it off with a 3/4" crow foot wrench. The steel line is fine, the fitting is fine, but it leaks like crazy. I believe the steel line and brazed nut on the line are where my problem lies.

From JD they want $150 for the line complete. That's just plain nuts. I will heat and remove the nut brazed onto the steel tubing, cut and install a short right angle with extension with hydraulic hose and should be good to go for around $30-$50.

Leave you know how I make out.

Oh yeah, third repair on this JD with only 180 hrs.

If your looking for a hydro, you may want to look past the 790. Good solid tractor, but I believe only available with a gear tranny.

Both important differences between the tractor manufacturers have already been mentioned. Dealer quality and creature comfort are the best seperators. Test drive all the brands that have reputable dealers, then go for the features you like the best. Financing and warranties will be very similar. The Kubotas will be lighter machines with better power to weight ratios. JD has the e-Hydro option, New Hollands will probably be the most comfortable. All will be heavier than Kubota and feel like it.

The AC tech recommended that I get a special condenser coil chemical to spray on it to help it cool better.<br>

Got the chemical, but unlike some simpler units that have the condenser core exposed, mine is a Trane XL1200 that has a separate blower cover, and a full housing with louvers around it that prohibits spraying it from the outside. Also this condenser has a different config than most with pipes surrounded by aluminum brushs rather than the very tight fins I see on most units. So I am wondering if the chemically cleaning the core is even relevant.<br>

Anyway I thought the side panels would just unscrew, but it seems I would have to remove the fan assembly to do this as well. As its really hot and it is working I am reluctant to take it apart just hacking it and was wondering if anyone had a similiar unit and they could offer any advice on gaining access to the core.<br>

I used Decon in my shop to knock down the mouse population. But I put in locations where the mutts couldn't get to it.

My brother has a problem with stripies (chipmunks). His neighbor taught him a trick that has been working very good and has proven to be entertaining as well.

He takes a large old-style wash basin and fills it with water, but not to the top. He then rigs up a plank as a ramp. He covers the top of the water with sunflower seeds and makes a trail up the ramp. They go up the ramp, see the massive food in the tub and go for it. If they can swim, they survive until they get too tired to swim. Then they are gone. Fish it out using something and start all over again.

Something like that may work for your rats too. But you gott make sure the sides are steep enough that they can't climb out and deep enough they can't keep their heads above water.

Yes a good call indeed, but there are other just as, or even more likely culprits.

For instance, a slight slope in the surface the CUT was sitting on, even one so slight as to be overlooked, can over the distance between the rear axle (the only rigid one) and the bottom of the bucket (the other solid surface) could cause enough change in the alignment to create this situation.

The slope built into the concrete floor of my shop to run water to the drain is enough to do that in my shop.

Hose broke and drained the tank. Fixed hose and had the J14B oil. Needed to plow so used the oil I had. Ran about 4 hours.
Since have replaced it with J20C oil and need to top off tank. Will try Walmart oil, thanks.

Yes, you can add hydraulics to the Kubota but the factory joystick on the MF is a cleaner way to go.

Take Route 78 west to exit 11 at the end of the ramp make a right turn onto route 173. They are about a mile back on the left in a large fenced in yard, you will see some really large stuff and the Kubotas out on the side. They sell Kubotas and all sizes of big excavating equipment, have a true diesel tractor parts counter and service deaprtment. Met Rent (Excavator Rentals) in Califon buys from them and gets service from them. <br>

Another good Kubota dealer that actully does field service and repair in this area is Mid State Kubota, they are down on Route 29 near Washingtons Crossing.

I recommend a 10 amp circuit breaker. Something like UCB-10 found at most automotive stores will work. The circuit breaker will be less sensitve to the current spikes seen at start-up.

Hooked an air hose up to the blow by line going into the fuel tank, pumping fuel into the line, and into the injector, and out of the bleed tube.
