FYI - if go to the homepage for the link in Art's original post and click on the "Forum" link it will try to load a Trojan on your computer. Symantec anti virus stopped it from doing so on mine. The other links seem to be fine.

IMHO that's a pretty good price. I have the ag tires which leave their mark in a couple soft spots but I wouldn't change since FEL use is high. Would suggest rear weights if using FEL alot or liquid in tires but that's extra weight when mowing. My rear blade provides balance when using FEL. Also I just added a toothbar to FEL and wish I had it from day 1.

The guy came yesterday afternoon and sprayed, dusted for $250 + tax. I tried to give him a $20 tip, he refused it saying he was a church going man and wouldn't take extra money. I insisted but still to no avail. Instead he told me he gave my son $10 for helping him out with a ladder! Guess I will look him up again next year.

I'm running Firestone Steeltex A/T 265x75x16 on my F250. I have about 49,000 miles on these factory tires. They're starting to show wear but plan on getting another 10K or so out of them. Traction is good and they have held their balance well with only a couple of tire rotations.

I am thinking of getting a Jinma 284 with FEL I will be using this for mowing 5 acre pasture handing Round bales of hay and handling horse manure is the 284 large enough for this . Also what can anyone tell me about Nelson Equipment in Albany OR. are the a good company to beal with Price seems to be good for a crate tractor

I've got a local dealer finding me a 60" JD/Frontier unit from another of his dealerships. He'll have it in on Friday for a look see. It is still at last year's pricing of $450.

What a great place to spend the day! I missed it last year, the one day I took vacation to attend the traffic was backed up from Seneca Falls to the gate. I turned around.

If current plans prevail, I will be there working as a volunteer in the DigSafely booth. Tentatively scheduled to help on Wednesday and Thursday. Stay in touch.

LOL In my case I'd build an airport hangar and my wife would fill it. And not with anything good. To the OP, I've always thought steel buildings were generally better than pole barns. Have you priced those?

On some tractors there is a fuel shut off at the bottom of the tank. It is normally a messy job and be prepared. Do fill the new filter with clean fuel before installing as it will prime much easier.

If timing is an issue the bolt holes will be arranged in such a way that only one position will be obtainable.

For the tight clutch disc you might want to try some graphite on the splines and work it back and forth.

We have New Holland 6 ft finish mower. WE run the height at about 4 in for our yard. I think it would go up to 7in. Anyways it works great.
