That is not that all uncommon for different tractors to be left out for a period of time. There are times they might sit for longer depending on the selling season and the popularity of the model. In the perfect world they would come in today and be sold and delivered tommorrow, I've often felt that if I could get it figured out as to what to order and when to have it delivered to me perfectly I'd head to Vegas and make some real big money,needless to say I haven't started looking for my plane tickets yet!

We are also some of those dummies with truck mounted welders. Pretty common in the steel construction industry. They are all isolated from the truck. It's important to remeber that voltage kills, not current. It's the potential energy (voltage) that is looking for a conductor. That's why an ironworker can sit on the beam he's welding. The current surges from welding are enough to cause all kinds of problems with your tractor, along with other more serious problems if the machine malfuntions.

Some miss info on the Kubota B7610 was given out, the front axle is cast iron. I think the reference is correct on the Trans case being Aluminum on the Kubota versus cast on the Kioti. The B7610 tractor with out loader is about 24 hp and 1360 lbs versus 20 hp and 1965 pounds for the Kioti. The loader specs are very close if you have the Kubota LA352, the Kioti is slightly higher.<br>

If you have lawn mowing use in mind the extra 600 pounds on the Kioti won't be useful. Both very nice machines.<br>

I bought a tank sprayer that is powered by an electric motor that feeds off of your tractor battery. I just put the sprayer in me FEL. I found the 3pt sprayers just too expensive for how many times a year I would use it.

I have attached the site that I bought my sprayer from. They were good to deal with.

I was a bit concerned that a electric pump would be powerful enough, but it is. I got the 30 gallon model.

mine also wouldnt pull and would get stuck...on a hill it would struggle to climb it...i know mine was a lemon but yours sounds like it is doing what mine did...contact kubota and tell them what is going on and dont settle for a loss...they should refund you and know that the machine is lacking power and traction...maybe next time they will get it right...if your going to design a machine that cost more the comp. make it better

It is really all what you are used to but the 2 stick just seems so natural and almost instinctive. I tried the excavator setup and it took some getting used to but many machines now have a switch to goe back and forth between patterns. My takeuchi was switched to backhoe mode before I bought it and must have had to have the hoses swaped around since the switch was not an option in 97. I really do love the JCBs and one is going at Richie brothers auction here in late june. It has 4 in 1 but not ehoe or forks but there is the mounts for forks. I figure it will bring 9-11,000 so I may buy it

What you are mowing can help determine when to sharpen. If it is just weeds and brush, almost never. If you are mowing grass, you will notice lack of cutting, just swirling and pushing the grass around and ripping it. Time to sharpen. My dad mowed all over the farm for 20 years and never sharpened, but it was not grass.

One possible compromise is the Bush Hog SQ84. It is a light duty field and brush mower rated for 25-50HP and it has 2 spindles so it is 84 inches wide but roughly half as long. It has swing away blades with lift. I have one and it does a pretty nice job as well as cutting anything I can push over. My JD 4300 handles it just fine. My favorite feature is it is offset to one side so you can reach under branches and over the bank of the pond a little.

Tommy at affordable was excellent from beginning to end. I really don't have any idea about starlight. Do what you think is the best for you, but I know that Tommy will help you if you need it!

I'm looking at buying a D3200 refurb tractor. Claimed is 38 HP and has 5 forward gears and High, Med. and low ranges. I didn't check the PTO direction. Is this likely a Viet Nam tractor? Better off to find a used engine for my old JD 950? Tired of wrenching....

LOL, thanks earthwrks. Nevertheless I sometimes think I'm the original Joe bflghtzx with the rain cloud overhead. I called the dealer yesterday who informed me there's a problem with the valve(s)(sticking?), and a new transmission is ordered and will be installed rather than to repair this one. Seems like a good idea.

I went back to the 80W 90 gear oil and that fixed the problem.Sometimes newer is not always better. I thought the UDT oil would be better.I would never have noticed it if I didn't have to get on and off the tractor.I still have to slow down for a second to let the gears stop.Want to thank you -John and 2ndHandLion for all the help on this one.

A 6" 3-point chipper would likely do the job but be aware that 5" hardwoods would be near the limit of what your pto can deliver. 4-5" stumps can be a challenge to dig out without a backhoe. It might be easier to do all your cutting and rent a stump grinder for a day. Better for the trail to leave the dirt as undisturbed as possible.

If the cedar is below the water line, you really don't need to treat them at all. They will last 30 years in the ground, unlike other species. They will deteriorate in the ground in some areas. We use them for retaining walls on lakes and rivers without any treating.
