I've seen something like you have described at
mastercomposter.com But this thing had two "A" Frames
with a large bed suspended in between, With a washing machine motor & agitator shaking the screen.
Nice but I don't used quite that much compost!

Sounds like a setup with Mat Tracks and a little booster compressor under the hood would fix you right up.

What kind of stumps and how big are they?
With some shallow rooted trees it's easy to cut the tree high and push it over with the tractor. Leaves a mess to clean up but digging them out leaves a mess too. Loaders aren't good stump digging tools, backhoes are better.

I bought a product called "Copper Brown" at Home Depot to spray on the underside of my shop. It is a serious wood preservative that contains strong pesticide/fungicide/mildewcide to inhibit rot with ground contact. I think it would be great for dipping.

Two weeks after Terry Shaivo was starved to death by court order in Florida, a bunch of dolphins beached themselves in the same state... Florida.

People were out there with wet blankets and veterinarians were out there inserting FEEDING TUBES try to save the animals.

The press gushed about the sanctity of the dolphins and their intellect and the nobility of the human effort to save them at any cost.

We have entered Alice's looking glass and I think the mainstream press has gone irretrievably nuts.

Yes, I'm pretty sure. It's what it was adverstised as and when we went to look at it it was what was on the body. If I could figure out how to add a picture I'd include that. Are you asking because the price seems way off?

Gotta say it! Ether is the most dangerous and stupid thing you can try. Do people do it? YES! Do they get away with it? Yes! Most times.

If I step on a toe here I apoligize. My Comment is from experience not someone told me.

I have seen, years ago, ether used outside and the tire guy hide on the back side of the truck when he did it.

I have seen 2 people killed ( you wanna see a mess?) from split rims and the damage to a tire shop and a tire from ether. I have also seen several tire cages that have been destroyed over the years from ether and split rims.

More tire guys and inexperienced amatures have been maimed or killed, according to the tire industry, by using ether than any other thing, except maybe split rims. I do not know of any local tire shops that will permit ether to be on their trucks, even in the winter for starting.

Tires will blow off beads. Rims will break. People in the area will get hurt or killed.

I manage a fleet of 21 tractor trailers and tri axle dumps also 7 very large wheel loaders and scads of various smaller equipment involved in quarry and road construction. The tire guys always can seat a bead sometimes the have to call for more help and experience but they do it with out danger to themselves or others.

Our company had a worker killed when he used a cutting torch near a barrel of stored windshied washer fluid, and a open bung. Windshied washer fluid in tires is wrong. If it is pumped into a barrel to store while a tire is being repaired and a careless match, cigerette or flame is near it, some one could get seriously hurt.

If you are gonna ballast the wheels use a tube, use calcium or beet juice. If you are gonna run them soft use screws like the fuel drag cars.

What is the condition of the air cleaner? Many times excessive black smoke is from lack of air.

As Art said injector cleaner and find some place to work the engine real hard.

I have a 155D. It's been a great tractor. It is 15hp, however, 15hp is like having 25hp gas. I have a front loader, Howard Rotovator, and a Post hole digger. The japan version I think is a YM1300. Can't tell you what they go for now, and it all depends on the condition. Don't buy a wreck or a fixer. Make sure everything works. Parts are not cheap. That goes for any tractor.

I'd be checking the power from the key switch both hat and cold and you might find it to be that or a relay.

Does anyone know who made the MarkMaster model 16/44 back in about 1980 ?? I am working on rebuilding one for my dad, and need several parts for the mower deck, its a 44 inch cut with 2 blades, side discharge, and a 16hp briggs twin. I have the owners book with the "markmaster" part numbers, but thus far have only been able to cross ref. 1 bearing at my brothers NAPA store, all other part numbers show no cross ref. number....Or if anyone would know of a deck or replacement deck that would be great too.<br>

I have a B6200 with a similar personality. When I first purchased the tractor, I posted the "problem" on this site and received great feedback. One person said it best: "..you need to learn how to mesh the gears, not mash them". Ever since I have been doing better. I generally lower the RPMs before shifting, and I hold the clutch in for a few seconds before I gently mesh into the desired gear. This time delay allows the idler gear to stop free wheeling. It's been two years now, and my shifting habits have become normal, and the gears no longer grind.<br>

go to machine. what attachment do you use to do
your snow removal? also the tractor i like is the

My local dealer has located a 4210 for me from another dealer. My dealer is offering the following price on the tractor and attachements. Can someone let me know how this price stacks up?<br>

Hi again Sadmag,

Power Steering on my tractors were run from a fan-belt driven pump on the left side. A small tank held fluid above the exhaust manafold. Everything in the aftermarket kit was neatly piped to the pump and tank.

I have also seen units that used the same pump for FEL and PS. Now that must be an exciting experience lifting a full bucket and turning at the same time! For a 30+ year old designed tractor it was still better than all manual.

Where is the pump now for the FEL? Is it belt driven or from the front of the crankshaft?

Have you considered turning part of your acreage into something
other than lawn grass? For example, you could put in a pond.
Our neighbors did this. They frequently throw "pond parties", which are a big hit. Or, you could convert some of your lawn into a meadow of warm-season tallgrass & flowers. Once the grass is established, it no longer needs frequent mowing. It also looks magnificent and makes great habitat for quail and other wildlife. You could plant a wood lot. If you're in farm country, you could grow hay and have a farmer bale it. Or fence it in and graze sheep or llamas. There are lots of interesting, more or less productive alternatives to lawn grasses. Maybe one of them would fit your neighborhood style and save a little on maintenance time.

Realizing I might sound like a pessimist, but they don't make things the way they used to. You can bet there will be something wrong with anything you buy today, if not with the product then with the salesman. (Because it was not relevant to the TC45 problem I did not mention the dealer make a big mistake on the invoice which has to be corrected before the transaction is a done deal). I'll be sure to post the probelm results here when I know myself.
