No you are not the first one to have that happen. You have the deluxe joy stick and with alt of use the will break. The hi/low buttons are nice but I would rather have the standard stick.

Don't know who your dealer is but they need to learn some thing. They have to be ordered though the sales department and not though parts.

As for R-4 on the front, if you can find some that have the same diameter as the turf's you would be alright. But the factory R-4s are different than the turfs and over time it will damage your 4wd.

What did the AG tires/wheels cost from the dealer if you don't mind? How much are the wheel weights and what do they weigh? YOu haven't seen a sleeve hitch for this for rear ground engaging garden implements have you?

Right around $15,000 for 200 hr tractor and mower as long as it is in good shape and serviced.

Are all of you Filters tight? If it is not making any unusual noises when you try to lift you have a hyd. problem some where. Do you have a loader? Make sure the diverter valve located on the right hand side down by the brake pedal is in the 10 o'clock position or the 2 o'clock position depending on whether you have a loader or not. If you have a loader make sure that the joy stick is not sticking in an open position as this would not allow any fluid to bypass to the 3pt.

We only really sell the ZD21 ($10,200) and the ZD28 ($11,100) In my opinion they are better that any of the other zeros we sell including the Ferris. I am looking in to a used ZD28 w/72" deck for my self. Every time I show some one how you can jack the front up with out any jack is usually a big selling point too.

Tell your dealer that is 45 mins away the price that tarheel quoted you, and i bet they will come down some. I would suggest you talk to you local sales guy, when you buy from you local dealer you know if some thing happens they are just a phone call away.

So getting parts from 45 mins away is a hassle? but you will try to get parts from Tarheel which is how far away? and that is not a hassle.

I am not going to get into it too deep just do a search on tarheel and Corrhier to see what was discussed before.

Long after the sweetness of a cheap price you are left with bitterness of poor service.

Actually, the woods BH is $4500(including installation) and according to my dealer it is a better BH than what comes on the 2310 (my dealer informed the massey rep on this and he reluctantly agreed).

So the question: Is $4500 for a better pc of equipment easier to handle now than $3500 a year ago. I guess in my case I might have to say yes.

interesting...does anyone know how wide the distance is between the outside of the rear tires for the TC35/40/45...I don't see it in the literature.
I wonder how wide the TC29 and 33 are?

I bought an el-cheapo Campbell Hausfeld pressure washer from Wal-Mart, it's 110 V electric, can't really remember what the pressure is but its some where around 1500 PSI. Its also a cold water only but I have run scalding hot water (180F) from my heater through it for years, with no problem. Best part is, if it craps out I will just buy another. It makes really funny sounds and whines a bit but for value for money you can't beat it, it does all the cleaning I need (I dont pressure wash the tractor) and with hot water it takes grease and oil off virtually anything. I use it with hot water and detergent to clean up our slaughter area when we do fall lambs as there is generally quite a bit of fat to take care of on the floor and equipment. I love it, and its really simple, ON or OFF, thats it.

My neighbor has some mature grapes along a fence line that he wants to get rid of. There are 6 plants. If I transplant them, are the roots deep? I was planning on digging a sizeable ball ( maybe 2 1/2' diameter) and dig down about that deep and yank out what I can. Was planning on watering them heavily throughout the season. Does that sound like a good plan?

I think the lube thing depends on where you get it from. My dealer had mine filled with fluids and had greased it. I did need to put some in the gear box part though.
I have been truly amazed at how well this tiller has performed. I am in the process of putting in an above ground pool and of course there was a slope where I wanted it at. After a few passes with the tiller at its fullest depth, it was where I needed it to be. I was really impressed with how it tilled right in on the virgin soil.

The hydro for those tractors uses all the capacity that is built into the tractor now. There is nothing that can be done with out hurting the hydro system to add to. The rear PTO's that were used in years gone by in the garden tractors have lost there appeal as they had little demand. the super series was the last to use them and the only attachment was a tiller. The hitch system to raise and lower and and an engine mounted tiller was a more economical unit.
