I'm thinking seriously about trading in my G1900 mower with 60 in deck for one of the ZD series mowers with 60 inch deck. The G1900 has 550 hrs. and is in excellent condition; any idea what it might be worth on trad in, and what are price ranges for ZD series mowers. I think I'm interested in the ZD 25, but really need to do some more evaluating before deciding. I'm mowing about 4 acres weekly.

I just took delivery on a ZD21. The cost was just under $10k. However I also bought a new B3030 so I got a package deal. Most dealers qouted me around $10,200. Make sure that what ever mower you get that it has the Prodeck. It is far superior to the stamped deck. ....

The only deck that you can get on the new ZD's is the pro deck. I haven't seen that it is far superior other then for some eye appeal to be stronger. The pro customers I have with both actually like the stamped deck for it's mowing ability better then the welded. Unfortunately the industry says it wants the welded deck. If only they really knew! ....

You are right about the 18 and the 54" deck. We don't have any history with those units in this area. ....

We only really sell the ZD21 ($10,200) and the ZD28 ($11,100) In my opinion they are better that any of the other zeros we sell including the Ferris. I am looking in to a used ZD28 w/72" deck for my self. Every time I show some one how you can jack the front up with out any jack is usually a big selling point too. ....
