Wolverine; I think the poping sound you hear is from the movement in the pins and bushings as the loader slowly settles, and not the cause of the leakdown. Seems like now and then there is a perfect circit that doesn't settle, but yours seems pretty normal. Frank.

Thanks for the heads up on the loose bolts on the GTC52. I'll put a wrench on mine when it comes. Some of the KK buyers spoke about no fluid being in their tillers when they got them home. Was that the case on your Woods? Will I need to put some lube in it?

The best way to remove excess grease is with paper towels. If you truly do feel the need to pressure wash you need hot water. The problem with pressure wash is you push water and dirt into your joint. Any time you wash or pressure wash you should regrease that area. So it kinda a catch 22.

As dsg said the small excess grease helps grab dirt before the grease in the joint does.

Okay, my sources have told me (tonight) that the seat rotator on the Woods unit also slides the seat to the rear in a similar fashion, so the seating position would be the same or at least similar, under the ROPS. He states that at 6-2, his only complaint is the need to wear a hard hat because of the "Cranial-ROPS impact zone" issue. It sounds as though I will be okay (being vertically challenged) but the 6' and over crowd may have a problem.

I've had good luck with Amsoil. If you find a dealer, you can order online, no problem. I've used it in boats, cars, trucks and tractors. If you learn how to use it and test your oil, you can get so many hours out of a change that it is actually not expensive; change intervals have gone beyond 60,000 miles in vehicles with routine filter changes. You have to use the Amsoil filters to get the 2 micron filtration and for very extended use, go to a by-pass filter. Your oil will stay clean. I use these on marine applications and change oil once a year. My engines are going fine now after 20 years. All synthetics are not the same and filtration is the key--learn about them or forget about them, they're not for the uninformed.

I checked out the DK65s 4x4 Kioti today. Very impressive tractor loaded with features. I was also looking at a TN70DA 4x4-a bit smaller tractor, lower to the ground and 20 inches lower from the top of the cab. With the optional hi-volume hydraulic pump, the NH has about the same lift capacity, about the same PTO HP, in a little tighter package. Up front, the NH is more money, but enjoys a proven reputation, an extensive dealer network, and predictable resale value. The new Kioti was delivered to the dealer with the older DK55 manual and the home office didn't know when the real manual would be available. I started the tractor and ran it for about 10 minutes; it made weird whining noises (unexplained) and leaked coolant. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from (the noise and the leak). The operating levers were not well located and the operation seemed to require more effort than the NH. The NH was smooth and the 16 speed (Kioti has 12) electro-shuttleshift was effortless (NH) The wet hydraulic clutch on the NH promised long, trouble free service, whereas the dry hydraulically assisted clutch of the Kioti was in its third upgrade, responding to previous problems. I really liked the Kioti, but bought the New Holland with an ALO/Quicke Loader--I believe it to be the wise choice.Maybe next time Kioti !!

I am a new member to tractor point. I have learnt a lot from all you guys and really appreciate your knowledge. I too am looking to buy a chipper and the Jinma is a consideration. are you still interested in selling yours. I am in Colton OR so collecting the unit would not be a problem. If you do we should talk.

Also having seen your BoDozer I have decided to order the 5ft version from Dale. I have a lot of slash piles to deal with.

Planning the purchase of a BX23 and need to know what other implements I would need to work on grading an existing 2 acre lawn and tilling up about 1/2 acre of lawn for planting. I'm new to urban farming, what implements do I need, how to use them and which order?<br>

I agree with the logic presented above, but I would urge anyone with an eye to saving money to personally examine what they are buying so they don't get stuck with a pig in a poke.

Nothing is worse than buying something that looked good in a catalog, being shocked at the shipping costs and then so disappointed in the quality and usability that it sits in the yard for three years and then ends up in the public landfill.

Go put your hands on it. Move all the moving parts. Judge it against a tape measure and a square and if you think you can use it without it making your back teeth grind..... then buy it.

If there are niggling doubts, keep your money in your pocket and move up the line.

I just got a quote Friday from my dealer (in central Michigan) for one with Hydro (TC40DA with the 16LA Loader, it was $21,800 plus $300 for the quick attach, $300 for loading the tires, and $150 for a front grill guard for a total of 22,550 plus tax. I'd immagine with no hydro it would by about $1000-$1100 less. What price have you gotten?

The TC35DA with hydro was $20,565 plus the extras, but many people say to stay away from the 35 I have learned here on this discussion group.

I am trying to decide between the TC40da or a TC33DA, but the 33 is only about $3800 less, and you get a lot more tractor for that extra 3800.

I had just picked up this past Sat. my BX23 that I had purchased a few weeks ago. The dealer said that I received this $ because he ordered it before the $ increase from Kubota. For the BX23 I paid 15k tax not included. This came with loaded rear tires, extra pins,ect and a complete demo of the machine that lasted a little over a hour.
When calling around to the other four dealers in TN they were all ~800 more. I have read from other posts that $ will vary by location(transportation ?).
I bought it to work 6 ac I have just purchased. I have only managed to put 4 hrs on it but from what I experienced you won't be disappointed in it. Tough little tractor. Good luck with your purchase I hope that this has helped you.

I was looking to purchase an aftermarket implement for my B6200D (4WD,15HP, MMM), but could only find a unit for 6200DT. They do not seem compatible. What is the difference between the two tractors? Apparently 6200D is not exactly the same as 6200DT.<br>

I just took delivery on a ZD21. The cost was just under $10k. However I also bought a new B3030 so I got a package deal. Most dealers qouted me around $10,200. Make sure that what ever mower you get that it has the Prodeck. It is far superior to the stamped deck.
