I have been looking at these for a long time and am holding out for WildBlue. I heard that both DirectWay and StarBand have had financial problems and have been sued for performance that is substantially less than promised. DISH Network was an investor in Starband and got out of it. I just didn't feel comfortable investing ~$1k for a service that many people are dissatisfied with. WildBlue uses better technology, spot beams, where they can dedicate satellite channels to specific regions which should give better performance. WB is supposed to arrive in our area 2Q so I'll be giving it a try.

If anyone knows anything about older fel's, would you please take a look at the antique forum. A buddy of mine has a question on there (bowhunt1). I would appreciate it since I know that forum sometimes is looked at less than here, I thought I would ask assistance here.<br>

Be careful with spraying oil to keep the dust down. In our area, Dept. of Ecology would be on you like stink on a mule and you would be fined big-time.

Disreguard on the water pump. It doesn't have one. Does anyone know how the two cylinder diesel circulates water through the engine.

I measured my dip stick on the bx2200, looks to be 19 and 1/16th of an inch. If anyone else has the same machine and could measure theirs it would be a start.

I started a link a while back and had a million different suggestions. I emailed Kubota and asked if there was a chance they put a different pan on the engine or put in the wrong dipstick and they told me it was close to impossible but yet they couldn't tell me if it was 2.9 or 3.75. I just want to see if anyone else has the same issue.

The machine wasn't choking or anything, I just figured 500 hours was a lot for waiting on changing a filter. When I pulled off the first one I couldn't believe what it looked like. I hope I don't need to pull the tank off but we will watch it.

Has anyone taken the rear joint off the end of the driveshaft(at snapring)? I need to remove it for clearance to pull the yoke off the rear end to replace the fan blade. Not enough room to slide the yoke forward off the rear end splines, the driveshaft is in the way. Is there any pieces inside the rear joint? JOE

I picked up a 2000 L35 TLB last summer with everything you have listed, minus the rotary cutter, for $19K. Best investment I ever made on my farm. L35 has the sub-frame. I would be concerned using a 3pt BH for clearing stumps--places considerable strain on rear & trans housing. Otherwise, believe OK for light to medium work.

I am taking my tractor in for a recall job. I am in need of the 50 hr fluid/filter change. I have the filters already (given to me by the dealer when purchased) Since my tractor is 300 miles away and my time there is at a always premium, would it be in my best interest to hang on to the filters for the 100 hr service and just pay them to do the job along with any other small leaks (I have one that I am sure is just a tightening of a coupler). I dont know what they would charge me for this but do you think it would be worth my time (in the cost for the job) to have it done by them? My time with my tractor is for the most part limited to 1 1/2 days on weekends and I usually am working hard for most of that time. Taking a few hours out to do it my self is not that big a deal but on the other hand will take part of a day that I could be doing something else with?

Thanks for the advice, Troy. I've looked at tandems but they seem a bit big for my needs. The single axle Load & Trail is rated for a load of 2950 lbs which should be OK for my estimate of my 2210 with loader and tiller attached. I'll only be using it for local transit - no long haul trips. I am thinking that the 59" width is too narrow (50" wide bucket)and I might get the 77" version.

As for length, I'd prefer a 12ft model instead of the 14ft version as I can get another trailer manufacturer option then (Karavan). BUT, the tractor, FEL, and tiller are going to be 13-14ft. Does it make any sense to simply put the tiller or box blade in the bucket for the few times I'll transit the unit? Or is that foolish thinking? What do others use to haul their 2210's or 4115's?

I'm a rookie at this stuff but have trailered 25ft boats with a tandem.

From what you have said you have either the glideshift or the standard shift DT version and with the dealer saying no springs then it has to be the glideshift. There are several things that might be the case of this type problem and more then likely it wil require splitting of the tractor.

My brother in law uses a bow and arrow, works well in confined spaces too. I have one here now that has survived two winters, the rest in the fields are all the neighbor cats. I leave it alone, it is a survivor and kills the mice around here but tends to spray the doors on occasion as it battles for territory with my cat.

I have more of a problem with the skunk and raccoon.

I must agree with everyone here. Had my first one at 45 due to the cancer in my family. Clean that time but five years later they removed five polyps. Scheduled me for a three-year cycle and am due this year again.

Some advise. Use the quick method of purge, not the start at noon the day before as I did the first time. I drank that gallon of mix that tasted like kidney excrement and suffered until the next morning with it.

The last time, I bought the soda pop/pill combo and simply drank the required amount of water. I started at 1800 hours and suffered much less. The preparation is MUCH worse than the test. In fact, that juice they shot into my I-V made my troubles go away for an entire day. For the first time in years I had breakfast with my wife and wasn't worried about what wasn't getting done elsewhere.

Have been shopping for some time for a new tractor. Finally have it down between a AGCO 4WD Model GT55 (61 engine, 53 pto) and a New Holland 4WD Nodel TN70DA (70 engine, 57 pto). <br>

The AGCO is several thousand dollars cheaper than the New Holland and seems to have the same features and meets my needs. My question is - (a) which tractor is better overall and (b) is $31000 a reasonable price for the AGCO with cab, loader and 72" bucket???<br>
