Does anyone have any experience with this tractor? Any problem with parts/repairs (do Agco dealers still supply parts and service)? Any problems with the air-cooled engine (i believe made by Same-sp?) overheating or experienceing early wear? Thanks!

Anyone have any experience with this tractor? I believe it has an air-cooled Same(sp?)engine....Any problem getting it serviced/parts? Does Agco still "recognize" this tractor and brand (meaning offer repairs/parts/ etc)? And any problems with the air-cooled issue (overheating in hot weather)?

I asked a few questions on this forum a few weeks ago concerning a 2000 JD 4100 gear CUT. I now understand neither the mid or rear PTO are live. Furthermore, I am told if the clutch is pushed in, the MMM will stop spinning, which makes sense. However, if the clutch is out, but tractor is in neutral, will the rear PTO spin? If not, does that mean I could never use a 3 pt. post hole digger with this unit? Thanks in advance for your help and opinions.<br>

I got a 4310 with E power rev 430 loader loaded R4s
for 20010 in NH from RN Johnson last year and love it have just over 100 hours on it as of this weekend.

Stephen,

The side gearbox is easy as you take out the plug on the side and fill from the top. That took about 2 quarts of oil. The top one is a guess. The manual said to fill it half full. I had to use a light to see down in there and I still ended up using a clean wire as a dipstick. I put in just over 1 quart, about 1.2 - 1.25 quarts.

How was it running at 1400? This thing runs like new at 999.2 hours. I'm chewing on keeping it or dumpling it. It's bought and paid for. I figure if I can get another 1,000 out of it it is probably worth keeping. It's a Great Dane Chariot riding mower. What a well built machine.

I would suggest that you take a look at the Kioti DK65S. Word has it that Kioti is coming out with a DK85 next year if you can wait.

Not sure about your climate, but here in Maine it seems to work well
provided you get a good mix. I found out not all applicators
mix it the same. Do your homework and talk to some pro's.
I understand it can vary greatly. Type and % of what type
of seed and fert.
Some will stand behind it 100%.

3M has a newer product out for garage floors that seems to work good. Non skid, I think Home Cheepo has it.
Do you get any frost where you are? If so run your foam board out beyond you apron at least a foot. Rebar it back into the floor. I have some pics of a 28x36 I have under construction if your interested in looking at it.

Tractor prices seem to vary a lot from area to area so your prices could be differant.
I priced a Kioti CK 30 (30 HP) HST w/loader last year, just over $16,000. ( In Western, Pa.)
A CK 30 gear w/loader was just over $15,000.
I believe the CK 25 models were around $1,000 cheaper than the 30.

Was wondering if anyone out there in Cub land can tell where I might purchase a front grille, new or used for my 7272. Several local dealers in my area want between,$165.00-$185.00 dollars for a new grille, geesh. Wifey decided to take a ride on my new/used tractor and ran into a tree. Can't a guy get a break? I just picked up my tractor this weekend, lol. What are ya going to do? I love her to death, but damit, stay off my tractor, lol.<br>

Murf, Thanks for the reply, I had seen your frame system in my search, but it looked like it "pins" on in place of the bucket(my original plan). Maybe there is more to it that I can't see in the picture. Does it attach to a mount that stays on the loader arms? or do you have to remove the pins to swap the "utility" frame and bucket? If so, back to my question of how much of a hassle is it switching?

There is a 4410 with 430 loader and hoe currently on ebay that you may want to consider if the reserve isn't too high. Often if they don't reach reserve and the seller is anxious, they will contact you if you've placed a bid.

They are fairly common and have been around for years now.

They are mostly used for dealing with leaves on large properties. Some golf courses use them to just blow the leaves out into the roughs rather than trying to gather them up. We use to speed the gathering of leaves, we blow the leaves into rows and then just run over the rows with a vacuum trailer.

They are also used to speed up the drying of large areas, under the right conditions you can either create a lot of evapouration, or just plain blow the water off the area. I have seen them used to dry tees and greens during tournaments.
