Does anyone have a photo of a G6200 they could send me or send me a link to one. I found one to buy and wanted to have an idea what i was going to look at. Also what year were they manufactured? He is asking $650 for it, says it runs good but needs some welding on the deck.. Thanks in advance . Hammy

I believe 130 amp running flux core wire will weld 1/4 inch very well without having to preheat.

I've been getting a flu shot every year now for 29 years. There may have been one year, a few years ago, I wasn't able to get the shot. I'm a firm believer in them. I've only gotten sick a few times with flu like symptoms during those years. This year was one of those times. The shot isn't a guarantee against the flu but I like my chances of not getting the flu better when I have the shot. Also, Cthonestguy, if there's a shot out there that you can get and not even know it was given to you it's the flu shot. Good luck, stay well!

Not to make any comments on your wife's driving habbits, but my wife thinks she's going 60 when the speedometer reads 85. She claims the vehicle takes off on her. That little women can really get after it.

I think you should do a timed distance check. Fluids can make a difference at different temperatures, but not that much. If after a timed distance check you still determine that you are only travelling 1/2 the rated speed, check the tachometer. If it the engine is running close to the rated rpm's, you may have a problem with your hydrostat. I would check the hydrostat filter first. It's a seperate filter from the hydraulic system and should have been changed at your 50hr service. If your engine isn't running at rated rpm's, there could be something working against the driveline, like a stuck brake.

Beyond that, you may want to make use of your warranty. Let your dealer determine what the problem is so you don't do anything to interfere with the warranty.

My trailer is not a car hauler. Instead it is a wood floored (2x8s) 16' long by 8' wide (6�' wide bed) regular trailer. I think I remember the weight in the 1250 pound range.

I agree, I'll need trailer brakes with the new tractor. So far, hauling the B6100 around, I haven't had any problems and the assembly seems to handle OK. Obviously I'm not drag racing with the 305 engine, and the oversize tires further reduce the truck's acceleration. Braking seems to do OK as well (no doubt helped by the oversize tires as well).

Easiest and cheapest way is to pull them off one at a time and bring them in to warm up and thaw. get a cheap valve stem tool and pull out the valve stem and put the tire down on tht side outside and it should all come out the valve stem. you will leave a little moisture in there but not enough to worry. They are big tires on there but thsi is the easiest and cheapest way. Keep the compressor near by and you may need to blow some air in them to finish the process of draining it all out. Fill them with air and get the angle of the water to the valve stem to discharge it out.

This tractor is a 4WD B7100 HST, Serial # B7100-D5596. The 16 Hp engine is Model #D750-AH. This tractor has manual steering and a 1630C front end loader. Will this help you determine the age and reliability of this tractor??

Let's see it has a digital speedometer, hour meter, PTO speed. It flags you for scheduled maintenance and tells you which interlock is not letting the starter work (like the PTO is engaged or that the transmission is in gear). It also has fuel level and engine temperature bar gauges.

I have the gear model so the GSTs probably tell you more. Is there anything specific you had a question about?

Well after looking at the turnout at the polls and seeing they beat our numbers of the best ever turn out, I dont think they feel the same way! Looks like they cherish the chances to vote and be free!
I wonder what the turn out would be like in the good ole USA if the possiblility of dieing was there from voting????? Thats right! These people may be setting the future for their own country. Lets all hope they step up to the plate now and continue with the process. The sooner the better and lets all hope they tell us to leave ASAP. What a wonderful day for the Iraqi's. I wish the best for them. Now lets bring our boy's home ASAP.

Have the dealer crack open the gearbox and take a whiff, any heat will have burnt the oil and it has a very distinctive smell. Make sure all parts are moving and working OK. Are the tines covered with new paint or original paint. See if you can get the consignor to give you a dead on arival warranty. I would take a look if you are in that market.

Just a couple clarifications...

1. Only at IDLE is the 2-cyl rougher. The 2-cyl runs just as smooth as the 3-cyl engines at operating RPM.

2. The physical size and weight limitations of implements for the BX1830/2230 are identical to the BX1500, however since the 1830/2230 have more PTO horsepower, they are can more easily handle power hungery implements like a bushhog. (the 1500 will handle a 48" or smaller bushhog just fine, you just won't be able to knock down a forest in a single pass.)

If you want to use physically larger implements, you will need to look a the B-series machines. They have a higher lift capacity and can handle full Cat.1 implements (vs. limited Cat.1 for the BX-series).

I've seen a few people up here use snow tracks on the Gator 6X4's.

There are ski kits for the front end that were designed for ATV's, they subtitute snowmobile skis for the front wheels.

The tracks they use are for an Argo, they are basically just like the tracks for SSL's in that they go around the existing tires and connect two adjoining axles together, but these are made of some sort of plastic material.

Some people make their own tracks using snowmobile track material and just adding steel 'L' brackets to keep them from slipping off the tires.

I suspect though that the reduced weight of a Gator goes a long way to keeping it on top of the snow.
