grassgod, the Dodge ran 1320 ft or 1/4 mile in 11 seconds, an Enzo can run 400 meters or 1312.33 feet in 11 seconds so I would say the Dodge could beat it but I think it would be a photo finish. That Dodge stock would probably run 20 seconds in 1320 feet.

The quote and single quote are special characters that cause problems in programming. I set it up so that for the first try on this I would do a simple replace for now and fix this technical issue later.

I'm with these guys. I have a bx2200 and didn't bother getting or spending 2k for a deck, instead I bought a nice used 52" scag hydro with a stand on velke. The hills in my yard have been no problem with the scag. I wouldn't think of taking my bx2000 kubota on these hills nor a scag or any type of sit down zero turn.

I cut over and acre in 12-15 minutes. My old whel horse took me over an hour plus with all kinds of trimming needed. save the dough, keep the IH and buy a nice hydro walkbehind with a velke. Be sure to get a hydro with the hills, you won't be happy with a belt drive...good luck..Jim

Went to Fed Ex today and missed the turn. Went a little further to turn around, what, whats this? tractors? red ones? I had to turn there, real slow, I was afraid to stop. It's a new dealer in Bangor or the town next door, Hermon, same thing. Lots of nice lookin big red tractors. A new Dealer in town, a new brand, how long can I keep away??? hmmm??? Oh man this kinda stuff gets me in trouble every time.

Have you spoken to the sub-contracted "customer service" people over the phone for NH? My experience is if you call then you get inexperienced people who don't even work for New Holland--they are sub-contracted help who are suppose to get you the answers you need (but not once in my case). So I went to the NH website and used the e-mail contact there. It took over two weeks to get an initial response, but the District Rep is finally getting some action for me (my issue was my new, extremely noisey, skid steer). My TC33D has a 2-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 3-year drivetrain warranty. What do you have?

They have the "offroadability" of an Audi AWD. Airing down is to let the sidewall flex and conform over uneven terrain. Low profile tires do not flex, even at extremely low pressure (the theory behind run-flats), which is why they handle on the highway better.

This theory is why some older SUV's have tall sidewall tires (ie older Exploders) to allow the tire to slip laterally rather than grip and cause a rollover. Unfortunately, tire deflection at lower pressure causes "tripping" which is when the tire deflects too far to the side allowing the rim to contact the road surface thus kicking the vehicle over.

They come with very good instructions (with pictures) in my view. You must remove seat, 2 black plastic control panels on each side of seat, metal kick plate on floor under seat, fender, entire control valve block, and it is recommended the wheel, which I did not because of liquid fill. Leaving the wheel on is a bit of a pain, caused some foul language and hostility, but worked. Most fittings are metric. You will need sockets to 18mm? and wrenches up to 32 mm I believe. There are some english fittings on the hyd. couplers. If your hands are larger than "large" or you are a large guy, you may need to remove the wheel just to fit arms and fingers in. Having a set of those god awful chinese wrenches is a help. (I do not) Just the things that make them cheap helps, being thinner and shorter than quality. They don't need to be strong because all torques are very low. Be ready to buy some new o-rings, it is reccomended not to reuse, and the kit does not include enough. Cost a couple extra dollars. They are only available from JD since they are a part number only and even the parts manager can't tell you if they are english or metric or their size.

tomrscott; I got thr hyperthrem 1000 mainly because of the dealer. I honestly haven't had time to use it enough yet to give it real test, but so far it's worked fine. Frank.

So I don�t have to fight both sides of the tire at once, I�ll usually lay the tire flat, stand on the tire with my feet 180deg apart, and then pull the rim upwards with a little wiggling, and working my way around the tire, to get the back bead to seat as much as possible.<br>

Then I stand the wheel upright, push the unseated side of the rim back, while giving it the air. You may have to finagle it a bit, but all you need is for that front side to seat for split-second, then you got it. Having the valve core removed is a must.<br>

Also, sometimes when it�s standing upright, if you still can�t get it to seat, the rope or strap around the tread works good, bouncing the tire, or even a good smack on the tread with a large rubber faced hammer will give it enough of a jolt to get the outer bead to seat.<br>

A snap-on type air chuck also helps, if your on your own, and only have two hands.

Here is an update. I switched to synthetic. I couldn't get the Lucas here in anything but regular conventional. I ended up going with Valvoline 75/90 full syn as per several good comments about it on this site. It's colder than cold here in New England these days but so far no more leaks or drips. I put a few hours on it already.

Not 100% sure it will be leak free until it warms up a little but Murf...Looks like you made a good call. Thanks!

Just a dumb question. Is the synthetic oil much thinner than conventional? I poured that stuff out like it was 10w30. It wasn't like honey like regular gear oils. I was surprised when I poured it how "thin" it seemed compared to 80 weight gear oil???

The curtis cab is easy to put on and take off. about an hour and a half but the windshield is awkward and heavy so you may want to have two people.

Yes, knuckle, the tractor did set up for awhile. I'll try the brakes. I guess there's not a miracle cure though. If I have to split the tractor, a new clutch and pressure
plate are a sure thing. Oh yeah, also never forget to leave the clutch engaged!!

Thanks for your help. I took a look at it today, had trouble starting it 8 degrees here. The battery is either bad or maybe not charging. I will have to check it out. It looks in good shape, normal wear scratches etc. He is going to throw in box scraper and gill pulverizer for 16k. I think that it is worth it. Your imput was helpful. Thanks

I asked my dealer about offroad for my 2015 Mahindra and he said no problem, use it. At a co-op here it is $2.09.9 for #2 and $160.9 for off road, I asked the delivery man and he said it both are delivered from the same tanker, just one is dyed and the other is not. John
