Most of a trees feeder roots are in the top 12 inches of soil. Once you pluck or mow off unwanted growth, consider topdressing with 2" of top soil for the grass. Don't go too deep with the topdress or you will injure the trees, tilling will also injure the trees greatly. Every wound is a potential entry point for pathogens as well as stressfful for the trees.

I have both types, 230 AC/DC stick and a 120 MIG. Had the 230 for years, 120 for a year. I rarely use the 230 now. the MIG is sooooooo nice to use. Only use the 230 for dirty rusty metal that I don't feel like cleaning or for burning really deep with 6011 rod. The mig could do it with some grinding and a couple passes. If I could have only one, it would be MIG.

2004 JD 110 tlb, back in the shop again. Second machine, 15 hrs on the first,it went back, 235 hrs on this one. Many electrical breakdowns, now worn out parts you would see at 2000hrs.And yes it was very well maintained. Very nice machine to run,agile,balanced,power,does more work then you would ever expect. I have visited three JD dealers, the nearest in my area. None know anything about the machine, they are rude unless they are selling,service managers know less. It is sad when one time sales and the profit margin this year is all that counts as their mother company John Deere, share holder value, investor relations, quartly reports,earnings per share, toys,shirts,trinkits. Never buy another Deere because of it. JCB, Volvo, New Holland, as soon as I can get out of this one.Too bad, a good dealer and I would really love the machine. Time is money and I don't have the time to lose this kind of money. Another week without a machine and 150 miles of towing to and from the dealers.

I have the RB72 blade and the skid shoes they install with the top of the towers closer to the blade center line. I spoke to Woods Tech support to get the correct installation orientation.<br>

To adjust the height you use the shims and washers, do you have those?<br>

After looking at the pix link Mark put up, scratch my info as the RB72 is a totally different set up.

Where have you been! Don't have the books anymore Willie but there were bracket kits that were needed to and those might be harder to find then the hoe.

I would suggest consider the power reverser on the deere. That would be a closer comparison to the shuttle shift kubota. It is also a better choice for loader work than the synch-shuttle. Just my opinion.

Mine broke like that and there was a warranty fix for it, but I had already gotten it secured by using a large hose clamp. The size you use to attach your vent hose to the clothes dryer seems to work.

I had to grind/file a small �flat� on the bracket that holds the whole mess. All in all it was a 15-minute fix.

The strike was for large 120+ hp tractors. Every thing else is built over seas. Don't try to get people ralled up about some thing that you know nothing about.

Also as far as the larger tractors go. Even if a defective one would happen to get out of the plant, after they test every component as it is installed. We at the dealership also go over every tractor with a fine tooth comb.

In short save your accusations for something else.

Not the old flagstaff to phoenix joke again...please...(how far will the plane take us? -- To the scene of the crash). I don't know, the flight between morelia and mexico city is 40 minutes long and on the map its only like an inch away...i'm kind of scared

Guys,

I'm setting up the same on my 790, 20 amps also. I have the one 55 watt light faceing the back on the original light switch from the rear pig tail.

On the font cowl next to the key switch I have mounted 2 toggle switches to control the 2 fronts up on the ROPS and one switch to control the 1 rear light up on the rops.

I think i'll be all right with the amps as long as I do not have both aux. switches on at the same time...

I wouldn't rush out to buy a new Case or New Holland in the near future. The union employees have been locked out in a labor dispute and CNH is using replacement workers to build the tractors. I'd be a little weary of the quality they are producing.

CUT = Compact Utility Tractor (i.e. the Kubota B-series and L-Series)
Sub-CUT = Subcompact Utility Tractor (i.e. the Kubota BX-series)
An implement refers to any attachment (i.e. a mower, snowblower, rear blade, etc.)
Subcomact implements are specifically sized to match the limited Catagory-1 3-point hitches on subcampact tractors. Some standard sized Cat-1 implements are too big for a sub-CUT.

King Kutter quality is low compared with other brands, but you can't possibly hurt their scoop with a BX. Just not enough tractor mass. I moved 25 cu yds of mulch and 20 tons of 1" gravel with mine. Very economical alternative to a FEL (although limited).

My neighbor has an M5700 (one model smaller than the 6800) with a similar setup to yours. I haven't heard of any problems whatsoever. It is definitely a well built machine, and very quiet too.
