It would be perfect for mowing as they were light weight. A 72" bush hog may be a bit too heavy for the 3 point but it could run it on a HP basis. With a hydro you can easily slow down in the thick stuff. The condition of the loader and bucket can tell a lot about how the machine was used. I would lift the front end with the bucket and check wobble in the front wheels, tie rods, and leaks where the wheels pivot to steer. I think more in the $10,000 range unless really nice. If the engine had not been abused, it would have lasted twice as long with ease

harvey i also bought a tiger power from dyna tech. same situation. i ordered a 12kw and ended up with a 15kw at the same price. nice people. i run it with my jd4410 about 30hp at the pto. only used it twice but is great.they say you need 2hp for each kw to be safe. mine also does not grunt when the heavest load kicks in [central ac compressor]. you do have to hook up to the tractor but overall a lot cheaper than a large enough self contained unit to run the whole house.regards BUD

A comment: Every 4wd piece of equipment that I have dealt with tell you not to operate in 4wd on dry payment or hard surfaces. The front - rear ratios are never perfect due to tire inflation and wear differences plus turns. The torque variations put extra loads on bearings and gears.

I just recently purchased a gc2310 tlb and I must say what a little brute this little guy is not bashful when it comes time to hoe up some rocks if the arms were longer it could actualy get them out of the hole without blocking up the rock and moving the tractor. I have put almost 30 hours on this little guy and I love it.<br>
but my big concern is the hydrostatic filter location . this filter hangs out down and low with no protection, and while driving over a dirt pile I have broken the filter off of the housing and found that this pump cover is made out of aluminum and you have to removed the rear end to replace the oil filter pump cover housing. and to the tune of $900.00 when you break this I am not very impressed. <br>
so my question is has anyone else had this problem or know anyone who has broken theirs off

Just my thought. B4U start chasing expensive stuff have you did the basics? Water? Fuel filter? Other stuff that might cause a fuel blockage?

Water or moisture is the most often cause of starting problems on these and is the most over looked.

I am trying to replace an injector on my 84' JD 850. The old injector is proving impossible to pull out. I have tried threading a 6in bolt into the top of the injector and using it as a sort of slide hammer with a 5 lb weight. Still no luck. I am getting very frustrated. I would appreciate any and all suggestions. Also, I am not worried about saving the old injector - just need to get it out.<br>

I was told by a JD dealer that the new series would not be available until probably late March due to the fact that they have a fairly large inventory on the 4000 series units left. He did say that this would probably lead to a "sale price" earlier in the spring of the remaining inventory...probably in the range of $500 to $1000 off depending on the unit. He did say that he is only going by Deere's past history though and that he has not heard anything definite on this however.

I have the 46 b/h on my 4110 and absolutely love it. Too bad I did not have it a year ago when I dug in about 500 feet of rain gutter pipe away from the house... all by hand. Maybe that is what made me buy the tractor :)

How is $1100 in repairs "smoking" Deere and "Mr. Kuboto", perhaps you could enlighten me?

Very interesting about this bounce effect you have seen. I wonder if that would be avoided by adjustments on the brake controller? Are one-axle brakes on a tandem trailer always on the leading axle?

Don't let your age slow you down. My wife, at nearly 40 years of age, is back in the grind at a local university in the radiology program. Most of the students are not too many years out of high school and at first my wife did feel a little out of place but she got over that quickly. We know a professor at the same university and told us that the faculty enjoys instructing older students because they are generally more focused and are there to learn and not party. Jump in with both feet, work hard and enjoy the benefits and rewards in a few years.
