Thanks for your help again yes I figured out that it was a grey market tractor the 2 cylinder diesel was just rebuilt professionally and it had a nice loader from bush hog I loved how narrow it is 50inchs I'm a stone mason and getting up sidewalks is a bonus so yes I bought it it runs great and so far no leaks except for some hydrologic lines witch I will replace. Already bought a finish mower a back blade and I had a post hole digger cleared 2 acres of small trees with it last week I'll be in touch when I need parts thanks again for your help you kind of convinced me not to be too scared of the grey market tractors

I have the very same tractor,bought new in 2001.I live on flat ground so I don't deal with hills. I have ag tires, rears are loaded.The only time I have had trouble is when I am doing something out of the ordinary, like digging stumps, digging a ditch for septic. This is a very tough tractor,but like any tractor you have to be careful.

Its a TN75 with shuttle shift . I have took it back 3 times for the clutches to be recalibrated and replaced one ECM.I repaired the 4 wheel interlock wires 2 times. Of course it must go back to clear out the fault codes. this is all in with about 350 hrs on the tractor. If I had the NH software I would be able to clear the codes and adjust the shuttle clutches myself. I consider myself faily savy on electronics and PLC controls and not to bad on mechainical repairs as I still have my certs on heavy truck automotive repair.

I can't find the recommendation for a max size rake for the 3 pt hitch. I think 6' should be ok, but does anyone know for sure?

Thanks again for your help. I have passed along your information to my dad. I was able to find a place that would order the specific repair manual for the tractor pto, so I ordered that for my dad. Hopefully that will help and then if he wants to complete the set, now I know where to go.

Thanks for the info! Can you tell me what the "S" in SCV stands for? I'm assuming the CV stands for Control Valve. Also, isn't that valve mounted a little low to reach with your hands or is it just the angle of the picture that makes it look low. Also, where are you plumbing the lines from the tractor itself before it goes into the valve?????

I have purchased a MT 180HD, but I am having trouble keeping my lifting arms from swinging into my rear tires. I have some literature on this tractor, and have seen one picture that shows stabilizer chains. The problem is it doesn't show where they are connected. It doesn't appear they mount the same place as my lift arms do. Can anyone tell me exactly where they mount at on this tractor? Also, how pricey is a pair of these chains? Thanks

I know this is not a tractor but I'm not sure where to post this...
I have a 12 year old Johne Deere 260 riding mower. Never had any trouble with it until last year. It was spitting and sputtering,coughing and puking. Cleaned the gas tank( found water and junk) new fuel filter checked all the essentials that the fuel runs thru. It would run for a while then start all over again.. Took it to a repair shop,twice spent a total 0f $300.00. Got it back in time to put it in the shed for the winter. Took it out yesterday to mow the lawn. Damn thing ran great for the first 2 hours now again it's coughing and puking I can't even get it to stay running. (I stored it with a full tank of gas).So I have checked the filter ,blown air thru the fuel line checked all the essentials( bowl, pump) it starts and runs for 5 minutes then starts all over again..
I noticed now the exhaust spit a couple sparks out.

I have a 2 acre lawn that I keep as neat as possible.. I'm about to park it at the top of a hill and you know whats next...

Can someone PLEASE give me some advice.

There are a lot of people who LOVE their Chinese tractors. With over 3000 Jinmas sold in USA in 2002 and more for 2003 they seem to be doing OK. Task Master sells the other favored brand of Chinese tractor and all us Chinese tractor dealers think theirs is better. However the Chinese make more tractors than anyone else in the world, more diesel engines than anyone else in the world. They have done so for some time. Their concerns about fit and finish are not as high as USA however the machine runs well and does so in every country in the world without highcost dealer support like the Big guys.

Tractor has 1900 hrs. used for mowing, not configured to front loader or rear backhoe. Hydraulic arms will not lift at all, not even a quiver. Local Kubota dealer disassemled & inspected pump and declared it "worn but it should work". I removed and cleaned the screen. It was not dirty (see light through it) and the fluid looked good (amber color not milky). Increased the bypass valve shim, nothing. While the tractor was running I backed off the bolts from the high pressure side of the pump. Expecting to get a spray it eventually started oozing out. I haven't a gauge but I am suspicious of the pump. I am baffled that the arms don't even quiver. Is there something I have missed? Also any suggestions for parts contacts are appreciated.

Sam, I have recently purchased a 25kw pto generator. Unit is very durable and the prices are competetive. I have tested it on some of my equipment and seems to have good motor starting capability. Excellent warranty.
