No doubt the grass you are trying to grow will have its height it prefers, you need to go there if possible.

One sure fire way to get weeds in a lawn is mowing it too low. Taller thicker grass will shade them and help prevent their sprouting or growing. Have your soil tested for many weeds will grow at lower ph than many grasses will. If you have County Agents there they may offer assistance with soil testing, here we have to pay less than $5 per sample and they handle the shipping and I few days we get the result back by email.

If you can share where you live and the type of soil and grass of your lawn you may get better detail recommendations.

Over my life there have been many dogs. Some the name still roles off my tongue and others no idea if they even had a name. Seems some companies don't realize the word "DOG or THE DOG or the Red Dog" was a proper name for dogs that were dropped off in your area and may be there a week or two years. At age 66 it tickles me to be asked what is the name of your first pet or dog?

The first dog I well remember it's name was a great dog for me and my family. A very smart German Shepard. We got him about the time our oldest daughter was born. He would lay in the sun and let her crawl all over him and you would think he was dead. Never worried about her playing outside due to Shadow. One of the funniest things ever with him was when stopped for license check on hot Saturday afternoon and he was tired and laying down in my pickup bed. The office stop a few feet away to say did not realize you had company or such. He admired Shadow as his head was beside my pickup window just as peaceful as he could be. Never did the office ask to see my license or other paperwork. Still not sure why. lol My Mom lived two houses from us about 300 yards. She worked second shift and lived alone. Shadow would be waiting on her front porch often when she got home. Never told me that till he passed. Amazing dog. It was a case the dog know more than the owner.

I have a L6060 Kubota with EA Wicked 60 grapple and like it. Think you would want a heavier model than that one. .

Know nothing on this tractor but do the simple thing, using test light or meter begin at the beginning, the battery. First be sure it is good, then test the voltage on the batter cable clamps if good there go to the other end. You may find it to be either the battery, one or both of the clamps connection or a cable or the connection to the tractor ground or to what ever the positive cable connects to. Often starter solenoid. These some times show up if you twist the clamp on the post or bolt. Does it have a fuse link wire in line? Would not expect that tractor to have a complicated or major wiring harness in it. You should be able to follow the wires till you hit no power. Do not assume the ground cable and connections are good, they fail also. I had a battery cable clamps to glaze over on the inside, not easy to tell but voltage would come and go with moving the clamp so knew where the issue was.

Not sure on the leg room between the Kubota and JD. To me it was more the design of the JD loader valve or the placement. I have been pleased with the legroom on my B2710 Kubota and was pleased with it on my brother I laws JD 3000 also.

He did not have the mid mount mower so no idea on your questions on the mower. Not sure what model or even brand right off but read recently the extra frame used either for fel or backhoes had to be removed for their mid mount mower. NOW I DO NOT Remember the brand.

It would seem somehow you are not getting a correct part number to where you are buying. Not trying to offend. I have a Volvo that the parts book which came with the machine list shafts for the bucket on more than one page and did not realize that and ordered off of wrong page.

Have you visually compared the two shafts? If so can you tell the difference? Do you know what the difference is? Still my recommendation is to take the wrong shaft and your broken shaft to a New Holland dealer or a good tractor garage may be a good option and show them what you are getting and then what you need.

Hard to believe there are two different options in PTO shafts for those tractors.

A lot depends on how thick it is, what you have to work with and how willing you are to handle the work, Time wise.

If small tractor and it is real thick make you grapple hook or hooks and toss them past the weeds of course AFTER you attach it to your tractor. This assumes you have room for the tractor to pull the hooks onto the bank. I have seen land levelers that use a link chain type design with hooks on the bottom side that would flex and grab but those are heavier I believe than you could easy handle to get over the weeds.

Depending on the weeds, chemicals. Before you go that way be sure you are talking to a knowledgeable person. Assume you have life in the pond you wish to keep. I would not trust a single source on a web forum for what is safe. I can tell you some very popular chemicals can be used in the right set up and are labeled for that but make a small change in your own situation and it is not safe.

Have not had a reason to look in a while but Kubota use to have I think all the info you are wanting on their web site. Tractordata.com also has a fair amount of info there. If those do not supply your info not sure you will find any "FREE" manual.

If you are buying from a dealer that is something you need to ask about on a used tractor. I have always gotten one with a used tractor as with new tractor. However have only ever bought a used tractor for a dealership who sold that brand.

If you will go to a Kubota dealer to buy the supplies they will know all that info and might print it off for you. If you have no relationship with a local Kubota dealer a great time to. You will be able to buy some of this less than the Kubota brand but, the info may be worth more than the price difference. Wal Mart of Advance Auto parts has no idea where the drain plugs are is there a screen you need to remove and clean also.

Before I would replace all these on a used tractor do check the hoses to see if they need to be replaced on the radiator. Do not miss the air filters.

candoarms, I was not aware there was any one who made these till stumbled across them for my Stihl saws. They work very well with no skill or talent. Only issue I have is need way to hold bar steady which a dog is recommended driven in into piece of wood if memory is correct or do like me, file slowly or use a vice. .

That would do it. Not only will restricted exhaust create issues but also air intake will. Diesel will run hot due to clogged air filter. Issue to watch for is insects building homes in both the exhaust and the intake.

Had hoped someone who knew the answer would have helped by now. Have you checked to see if there is anything on youtube on say adjusting the throttle linkage? I doubt it but...might be.

Long in this reply so you may have it fixed.

Have you looked at the brake pads? Could be them or could be rust on the rotor. If noise is only when first used after sitting for a while, humidity level affects that, could be light rust on the rotor. But it should get less as you use it. If it does not would think brake pads.

If not mistaken our sweeper is 60 inch and an agri fab also. But are you pulling it while mowing? Would it not have to be off set? Will tell you my wife told me couple of weeks ago we need to throw our sweeper away. Lawn has too much in clippings to use it. Sure is this year, after 19 years of seeding and sprigging and fertilizing and such it is thick as carpet, thanks to the rain the Good Lord has sent us and the fertilizer I put out.

Only thing I can think of that has a clicking sound is the fuel cut off valve. Is this new issue?

Cutting off when moving regardless the rpm makes me wonder what range this is happening in and how hard are you engaging the forward pedal. I have a HST tractor and depending on the range and load on the tractor can choke it off with full depressing just as a gear tractor if done too fast for the load. If it does not cut off in lowest range with decent engine rpm (at least half throttle) would think you are using too high a gear or too low rpm or too fast of engagement when taking off and when backing up do so slower because you are backing up.

Did not know you could get black Gator seats. Agri Supply did and right sure still has Gator seats. There is also option of having them recovered by local shop.

First thing I will suggest is when you get them matched up use colored tape or fitting caps to keep them straight for next time.

You should have two sets of hoses, look at the fel valve to determine two hose on one of the valves. Take those two and hook up either cyl on the fel. Then use the other valve for the other cyl.

Then I would operate with a lower rpm to see if by good fortune you happened to have them all correct. If not correct pay attention to what was wrong. If the lift cyl operates correctly but wrong level then swap hose between the two valves. If they work with correct level but backwards swap the hoses on the same valve. If they do not operate properly at all you mixed the hoses with one from each cyl to each valve. Most important thing is to be sure you get both hoses for a cyl hooked to the same valve.
