If you have the manual did you check it on how to bleed the system? Remember the saying, Fools Rush In Where Angels Fear To Trod? I would not be afraid to use WD 40 in the intake while turning the engine over and see if it will start and if so it will bleed the system. Well works for me. Your injector pump may have a manual pump on it for this but may be hard to realize what you are looking at. If you have the manual refer to it, if not do a search on how to bleed the system on the internet. kt

That sounds like a good employer. No doubt you are a good employee. You know this but bears reminding you, walk anywhere you will be tilling the first time. Look for metal post driven in the ground, large rocks if you have them there and so forth. Also nails or such for damage to the tires.

Also check oil for water in it. Matter of fact if you have not in any recent time change the hyd oil and filters or clean depending on type of filter it has.

Well have settled on a mounting on front bumper. The weight mount has good flat surface, not the best location with FEL but a workable one.

Hey does the engine's sound change when you try to move it? Are you trying to move just the tractor or do you have a heavy load on it? Could clutch be slipping or could brakes be holding it?

cj my brothers has a larger Long than your's but 99% sure you will find a large pipe plug on top of the housing near the seat.

If the design of this tractor is as his while you are at it be sure you drain the transmission and watch for WATER, if you see any would suggest you flush the system before putting in good oil. Also do not skip the filer.

There may be a knob on it as Murf mentioned but there may be a lever on the side of the transmission.

I would not run the engine with oil not touching the dip stick. kt

Murf I wonder if the can not wait attitude is world wide or just in the western world. It creates major debt and in turn stress and family and company failures.

Got something to tell them, God demands patience and is not up for being ordered around. I wonder if some of such as the floods our state faced was due to our sins as a people.

I did chuckle at the clean up order.

Hard to see a crop with profit to it for us next year at current prices. Yields have been over all good and markets are soft with China I think leading the way. It is hard to understand how buying for food varies as much as it can. Ethanol has had a nonfood impact on corn and some other grains and now with the oil price down it has pushed corn down and thus other grains is what I understand. Odd, not aware of input cost dropping nor building material or such dropping. Maybe the trucking and logging industry is making better profits. Have a friend who is a smaller hay grower and he has told me I can clear more with hay than can gross with soybeans. Then I talk with bigger hay grower also a friend and he was not near as positive.

Growing up we did not worry about grain market prices and I assume they varied but doubt as much as since it is really global as we feed our grain to animals which we did sell some cows but by far more hogs. Of course that was before the big boys go into the hog business.

With our flooding and loss of a vast amount of most any kind of crops this year fully expect there to farmers who do not make it. Crop insurance sure will not save them, may keep from deeper debt but will not provide for their full loss.

No idea where on your tractor but look for large plug near the bottom of the sides or on the bottom of the transmission or rear end if they use the same sump.

Well took the test. I was rather pleased with my results. Did very well on those things I felt should know but as to reading symbols bombed. However I got I think four copies of the test results back. Was that their way of telling me to study??

Do not skip the simple things like, poor battery cable connection. Also your jumper cables could be failing. It will take a lot less amps to power those glow plugs than the starter.

Many if not most companies use a standard qd fitting design. Think call Pioneer style but not 100% certain on that. I would suggest taking one of your current ones with you to the store. But why did the others not fit? Different size or style?

Wish I was technical enough to answer as you stated your case but in my terms: most likely issue with ethanol. Our Gator will do same thing as yours when we use ethanol. We had carbs cleaned out on it and a Kohler lawnmower motor about same time and have used only full gas since which has helped. However the Kohler is now showing some of same issue. Might now have run it enough to be sure Saturday. I tried Seafoam at heavy ratios and another cleaner and nothing worked other than have shop clean the carbs. kt

I have bought more parts for Kubota than any other brand but will agree with Art on their prices. Now their prices as with any brand can vary. Try to find a good local dealership and build relationship with them.

If the tractor has remote hyd on it then you should be able to operate such as a hyd cylinder on an attachment. The cautions I would say are, the remote hyd may supply less fluid then your cylinder wants speed wise is so then it will be slow but if it supplies more than it was designed for it will move the cylinder very fast, maybe too fast if operated at full lever.

My suggestion would be on any thing you have not had connected before is run at low engine rpm and not full range on lever until you see how it operates. kt

Take the battery cables off and clean the inside of the clamps as they will glaze over and prevent good contact also.

New to forums and diesel engines having some trouble though
