Old dog here but why is degree and angle not the same? It not a very short simple reason don't worry. Think it is in a line on the link, English. So figure it is like the 12 inches in foot rather than 10. Keeps math teachers employed.

Boy that looks like the carb on my wife's family 1961 Ford 601. That carb a problem to keep in adjustment or clean not sure which now. It was not used real often. It did have a float in it. Would say with today's gas it needs to keep a good cleaner run though the carb often.

Might not apply to your tractor but suspect it does. MF did have two styles of remote hyd on some models. One cost less and was a dealer installed package or so have been told. Any way the 3 pth does not work when it is set for the aux (FEL for you) is set to work. It remained in the fully raised potion. The location of the lever makes me think you have the dealer added valve system for they had think two levers under the seat but have only seen those for rear remotes.

There has to be someone who knows this better than I do but as the injector is sending fluid at precise moment it has to be in time with your pistons. So it does have to be in certain position. It might be only one way the two fit or you may have a problem to line back up.

Frank, thank you. We are very safe. Wind is mostly summer breeze. Not saying there is nothing else like it but ran off of a tropical storm come in bands. You can go from no ran to buckets pouring on you in seconds. I expect flash flooding to be the biggest issue here unless it moves and they do move.

TZbroke, yep it certainly is broken. No doubt they are shocked and are certain those bolt holes did not create a weak line on the frame.

Hope Gatorraider chmes in but is the engine speed or the travel speed what varies so much? If travel speed it probably is in the clutch assembly it uses. Gatorraider is the pro.

Well as I sit about 25 miles from the southeast corner of North Carolina at the ocean we have been feeling some light winds and some ran off of Irene for about three hours. My thoughts and prayers are with you in it's path. Listen carefully to storm surge if in low area especially if storm surge is hitting with high tide. Flooding does a lot of damage and is the biggest killer. It is amazing to me the near straight north path she is taking. <br>

Forecast for us is about summer thunder storm if that strong. We can easy use the rain while understand NJ and that area is wet and it so be ready for trees to be blown over if winds hold. A pro said where the wind hits from the SE expect more trees down than if the NE direction. <br>

If you suffer damage you need to take pictures and protect your property. If a lot of damage it may take a few days for adjustors to get with you. If the radio and local tv is full of insurance companies telling you they have adjustors on hand, then they are expecting damage at least near you. They love to use such for advertising. Do watch for down power lines. <br>

If you don't have your generators, chain saws and tractors fueled and waiting..hope to it! Do be careful. <br>

Depending on the linkage you have a simple drill to next pin size and then install that size pin might solve your issue. Of course if you can not find pins that size there are bolts or cold roll rod to cut for pins.

If I may ask you two a question on the axle breaking. First I don't have a FEL have only used one on two different tractors for moving dirt. If the unit is built for that tractor (esp if same brand) how could the load's weight be an issue for such failure, is it not designed to prevent the load limit weight wise? This question is not totally due to this post but also due to the post on the NH failures of frame.

Now understand how shock loads due to ramming stuff or running over rough ground and such is different issues but very real.

Did you try the jumper cables with your vehicle battery also?
Do you mean it showed "discharge" the whole time it was connected (the charger) as you wrote? But a 2 amp charge rate for an hour on any size battery is not much if needing to be charged.

As there is wide variance here in mulch think any such number can be wide open but here is one source that agrees with Murf the Man and Mulch More. :)

But this will depend on the mulch itself. After a heavy rain mulch can weigh in at about 1000 lbs per yard however in better conditions, the range of 600-800 lbs is a fairly accepted value in the landscape industry.

Totally guessing here: if you don't see any sign of broken metal doubt it had a guard on that side. Would I want to run it as it is, NO WAY. It is not just what you are asking about but it has to throw things all directions. You should be able to build a decent shroud for it to protect the operator if you are going to use it.

Skip, depending on the pin design if you can remove what ever is holding it from rotating (may require back it out some to clear a key-stock or such) rotate it and try again. My guess is there is even metal shavings in it that must be pushed out. But grease can dry amazing hard.

Skip no idea on your machine but some will have (no idea if correct name but what I learned them as)a holding valve that would take the load of holding such just in case of failure while load was in the air. I have seen Teflon tape cause those to stick open.

I would have it checked, soon or later you will end up with a load suspended you don't want dropping.

Does it just make noise or did it turn over the engine? Did you check to see if starter mounting bolts are tight? By chance is the solenoid on the starter and if so are you sure it is the starter the clunk is coming from?
