Don't have the model Kubota you do but not aware of any thing on the right side to make a clicking sound, other than could it be the key switch?

Need some help with my Kubota L2850 4X4 with a Loader

Skip, back to not an expert here and you have to know the strength of your bucket cylinder and such to be sure but my guess is you will not need one with over 3/8" thick sides.

Have you looked on ebay? When I decided to have one made there was a person near you selling on ebay. Still think you can find a local shop who does such and will for you at fair price counting installing it. Might find a company who has their own machines does such or they will recommend a shop. Call dealerships and ask them. There is not going to be a perfect design for each load is different. Boy do I like using the thumb. So is more fun for stacking debris than by hand. Can run those joy sticks all day and not be tired.

The rear discharge to me would be nice that way you can trim with either side. The side shut can be longer than you think. Have a friend who ran a 8 foot Caroni for several years and was really pleased with it. It was all yard of near two acres. Agri Supply have for me stood behind their products great. You are aware the finish mowers is just an over grown lawn mower deck for lawn type cutting and not rough ground. Not trying to imply you are not aware but wanted to be sure.

What is a good buy good model to choose from

So I do a search using your full info on that engine and the link below might solve your needs or make them worst.

Per it that engine is only used by JD and they are the only ones who can get it. Back to, find a JD small engine shop that sells their lawn mowers and you probably will find they sell the gators also. The one here did. They JD ticked them cause they wanted them only to sell JD so told them goodbye and find someone else for your warranty. Not sure JD found anyone else. Know no one else picked up the JD line.

How are they connect to Cat now? Didn't Cat sell them off right after intorducing them to Agco? May be running Cat engine (don't know) and they are being sold here by Cat dealership here.

Seems the only thing you have not checked is air supply. If this is first time of the year you may have mice nest or such in air supply. But I think you more likely have fuel supply issue unless you were cranking the engine while spray the fluid.

No idea on the Kioto but on my Kubota that had draft it took a while to get the hang of how it works. So much different than the older Ford and MF to me.

If you fill the tires they are heavier, also if you need to handle them such as changing the wheel base width, mounting on tractor...they also have a moving weight to them so not as stable and needs more hands on to handle them. The handling of filled tires is a big reason to hire pros. But the filling is not hard most tractor people are able to to.

Park on level firm ground with valve stem at the 12 o'clock position. Block the front wheels, place jack to lift the wheel you will be filling. If you are going to do both at same time be sure you don't use a single jack as the front axle pivots allowing the rest of tractor to pivot and could cause the tractor to fall damaging it or worst you or even killing you. You need the weight off the tire, remove the valve stem's guts (some valves are two parts). You can use cut off water hose and funnel to fill the anti freeze or what ever fluid you want to install (you will need winter safe solution where you are). If topping off with water the pressure of it should be sufficient to fill the tire but only to the top of rim (read your manual for level they suggest). It is easy to drain if over filled but back to the last post, depending on what liquid you use it is can be toxic to at least dogs and children, so keep checking as you fill to prevent the issue. I have seen the water coming in be cool enough to show the water level as sweat on the tire but the most dependable to me is to disconnect and roll the tire with open valve stem to see where the level really is. If you over fill you will not be happy as there needs to be air in there to tack any shock or flex the tire needs to take.

You may need to keep opening the valve letting pressure out to allow for liquid to fill. Have seen the fill valves with a simple push button on them for such. Now that you have filled tires how do you empty them??? For if you need to haul them for repair or if you want to break them down for repair to replace tube or such your self it will happen. Never done this myself but wanted a pro, he jacked up that tire, rotated valve stem to bottom and remove valve stem guts and the air pressure pushed liquid out. Of course you may need to capture it. When air pressure ran out, he rotate the tire, added more air and rotated it again in place. Amazed me when I had just let gravity do a very slow job.

If the only reason to fill the tires was for the FEL use think would try to use weight on the 3pth. If you need it for traction disking, not much option. You can always add weight to your box blade if that is implement you use with FEL.

Agree with Greg's thoughts. The negative I have seen with with those of Pat's design has been you are moving the load further back (lift capacity and light front end) and pto shafts may need to be longer.

For me connecting the lowest lift pin on the implement and then using the lift itself to slowly life to get the higher pin to line up. Yes, the third arm is the last connect to make and the first to disconnect.

Think Auerback said the next easy hook up begins with proper disconnect...he is so right. Get both tractor and implement level and make sure lift arms will lower below the pin height before you cut loose. No fun to have to lift something to have to connect it.

Are you talking about on the bottom of the bed? Well was going to tell you I think mine has them (no lift) but remembered it is loaded with loaded sprayer so no way to see it. I am thinking they use a "U" bracket there with the "U" with the open side running with the bed or parallel to the side.

Stones here are very few but roots are not. Just for that reason don't think would recommend standing near a hole with auger running and there is loose clothing and buried wires and pipes and old trash pits.

Selling for scrap metal is fast and simple, however you may make more money selling it for parts on ebay or such. At least the buckets and cylinders depending on their condition.

Murf, first reading thought oh yeah, right. But went back to years ago using old car hoods as a skid and they would slide very well. Tobacco farmers here used "drags" to haul tobacco both in the field and from the field with a single mule pulling my guess 1 to 2,000 pounds of green leaves running on 2 wooden skids about full 2 inches wide with no problem. This might be the answer for me on next dirt piles to play with, excuse me move.

Skip, the manual on my mini Volvo tells you to only pull it in case of emergency and no further than has to be. Best my memory is for when I read it thought and what dozier would I have.

Jeff, if you were to hold the controls open (if they operate with engine off) would that serve the same purpose allowing fluid to circulate?

Here Kobelco are sold by the New Holland dealer. Understand they have choice either NC commercial or the Kobelco. If not correct don't shoot me.

I have a Kubota 27 hp diesel about same age. I have learned on that engine if the engine is cold use the glow plugs a few seconds. If not it cranks a few extra times even it temp is 70F even. The temp can be a few degrees colder where you are then here (like 20 normally being the most) but would think glow plugs would be sufficient if all is working fine.

Be sure not only are the glow plugs good but power is getting to them. Does your machine have indicator light when they are heating?

We have taken many a trip through east of you, Maggie, Cherokee and a time or two maybe right at you. Those were too many years back to remember the names.

I live about 50 or not much higher than sea level about 20 miles from Myrtle Beach. So you know why I like your area. Of course tourist like both and when there I am tourist.

As you have found out there is some very good help here. I came looking for help about 7 years ago and can not leave. Hope you find it the same for you.
