So Art was correct. Not assuming here, have you used a disk before? If not suggest you spend all the time you need to play with it with different settings, the angle of the gangs. The sharper angle cuts better and throws more dirt. Slower speed cuts better and throws less dirt. Faster speed does not cut as deep and throws dirt further. Trash is cut better with sharper angle and slower speed.

Then all of those will affect how level the dirt is left and any ridges. Also allow the axle to run in the dirt will really wear the bearings and spacers and gets costly. I give up depth to save that wear.

In my own county in SC (and SC and NC have many laws a lot alike)have know it to go both ways in court. The land lock owner was given access across another property but had to pay for it; person had allowed a drive way to be established across his property after couple of years was not allowed to close or restrict it; established dirt road was allowed to be cut into in at least two cases I know of making two dead end roads in both preventing through traffic. In one there were no houses involved and the other there were many houses on the road.

Are you having a problem with out using a starting fluid? I have a Kubota about same size and age and it wants the glow plugs used is the engine is cold or it takes a long crank to start up. Never used any starting fluid on the three diesels I have. Now years back 25 plus worked for heavy equipment manufacture and we used starting fluid on certain brands often. Again that was 25 years ago and much larger engines. No built in starting aid.

How does the price with him from company to an after market track?

Boy that four dollar price difference between the standard 3 inch and the 4 inch bolt if needed seems high. I have no idea how likely pulling the bolts through the track could be.

Murf,what do you prefer to skid steer? I have only used one a little and one thing I don't like about them is the only way to enter or exit them. Have seen one that broke down with load up and the operator had no choice but to exit under a load which was only head up by machine that was broken. What a great plan.

Chr, it is nearing four years ago we had a few acres logged, clear cut. Of those few acres there was an acre pond in there with the dirt still in piles from when it was dug about 50 years back. About 100 feet from the pond was a low area where one of our children hope to one day build. Our plans was to move the piles of dirt into the low area. Of course there was logging debris to remove and stumps to take out. We priced it. Got all kind of comments. We took it on with no dozier and are about completed. Really have about 4 to 6 more real work days and even the little things should be taken care of. Today with how much construction is down hiring it done would have been lower and much faster but for me to look at this and think one day my Daughter and her family will live there as my grand son plays there, means a lot. Be safe, have fun. Don't underestimate how large the job is and how long it will take. Also look at the result of dozier work and be sure to avoid some of the damage they can do.

As to Murf and EW comments on the post or poles the electric company install here with often very high water level never had notice any sign of gravel but they are using tar and a water proof wrapping of the post a few inches below ground to about 4 inches above ground. My guess is like a foot below ground but have never asked.

Here landscape timbers as post last about three years. The tee metal post seem to last very well here but are not used a lot other than road fencing. But have not notice a lot of private new fencing last few years.

I know nothing on this machine but as to the brakes I have heard of companies who would reline your old shoes/pads. Is the battery so unusual it takes one made just for it?

Post link to Oregon on blades. Will be shocked if they don't have one to fit it. You need the blade dimensions to match new blades.
As to belt, if you have the current belt take it to parts store (one with people who know parts), they should be able to match it.
No expert on finish mowers but the few finish mowers I have seen all use the gear box to drive the drive belt for the blades. None I know connect direct to the blades unless rough cut mower. The mower is a 3pth finishing mower, correct?
Be sure to check the oil in the gear box and grease the spindles. If you have not seen it running would turn all those by hand first just in case they need lube to move in place first due to sitting.

Easy to prove, contract them on location of tractor so it can be inspected. Regardless of the location they give you to prevent you being close enough to inspect it, use oh I just happen to have a brother, good friend etc very close to where it is and they will look at if for me...see if it moves on you. If so run run run from it. If it does not move it will surprise me.

This is one reason I don't care for our Gator. Was told by JD when brand new just the way it is designed.The guy who delivered it said but the throttle and as the rpms drop pull into gear real quick. If you can time that right it helps.

Joseph, glad to have you here and for jumping in. Do notice the post is a little old you were helping on but the info is still very good. Wish you has posted it a year or so ago. I pulled battery out of my bigger Kubota until about could do in it my sleep to finally get the positive post also clean as you mentioned. They do make a battery cable tool that will on most size post and ends cut it out with inserting the tool and rotating it. Do agree it was hard surface.

weathersteve, two have said very strongly - fuel filter and you said you had replaced the filters. You could also had or have trashed or gelled fuel in the tank and yes you replaced but the new one clogged almost as soon as it was installed. When not take the fuel line loose below the filters and see if it pours freely. If it is stalling only after it has run a while you might have a clogged vent for the fuel tank.
