Greg, is it possible on this machine to pressurize the tank and bleed the fuel system? If so you don't want a lot of pressure.

I worked for large manufacturer and that is how they bleed the lines on all their machines.

Lwayne, it was. The Bobcat dealership here is not very visible from main highway so no idea if they are stocking any tractors. Can not think of seeing a Bobcat tractor locally.

That does seem to be high for a top link for that size tractor. Maybe a Cat 3 it makes sense.

At same time I priced some simple parts from Volvo and found them for an aftermaket company for 24 to 33% of Volvo's price. Bought a thermstat sending unit from Volvo a couple of months back and it was very reasonable. Find it initeresting how the price can vary with any company.

I would think three 55 watt lights would be more than the factory harness is rated for...but the fuse still should have blown as it would have been sized for the wire. Just wondering, when the lights were first installed did the fuse blown and a larger one installed? May not have been you who did it but if you allowed someone else to use your tractor they could have.

Got email reply from a company on the Internet "excavatorpins.com". Their price for a pair of pins is $100 less than Volvo for ONE and the bushings are about 1/3 the price of Volvo. Amazing difference. Have to talk with them on specs to be sure we are on same page but if all sound right will make a gamble on one set with them.

Thanks Hardwood. We need to understand that OLD (not misspelled) Jeffery loves us, that is why he picks on us.

Tucker, lets back up a little. First what is this on? Does your tractor not have a built in overriding pto clutch? If so do you need one in the pto shaft? If not then why not just replace it with a proper size pto shaft? Without seeing it there is one reason I would think replacing is better than welding it together and that is safety. A normal PTO shaft would have to be smoother and thus less likely to snag something when running. You can also buy (well could a year or so ago) overrunning clutch assembly for PTO use if needed.

Frank, thinking back to the days of the tractors with single stage clutch bet using a PTO driven auger would not have been any more fun than running a heavy rough cut mower around a pond or ditch. It would not be smart to have the pto running while the auger was swinger free and such. Not saying you were doing so but that thought sure came to my mind here.

It sounds like there is a problem with their design or their instructions. I don't know what that area looks like but could you install a small 12 volt fan to move air over the coil? But first thing I would do is reach out to Kioti.

How well the NH dealer does with Kubota probably will depend to some degree he has for tractors in the Kubota size range. If he has the demand and they are a decent dealership expect them to grow that business.

One of the things I like about Kubota is they use Kubota parts.

Go to both Kubota and JD web site and my guess if each will have a compare place for you to pick their tractor and then the other brand and compare them spec wise. Use both sites as what each company uses or the specs they have might vary.

I have used a Ford 601 without power steering as you mentioned a good but and these weight tractors are so different but much more comfortable except when running over rough ground due to smaller tires. Either one probably will prove to be a good decision.

Some filters seem just to keep air in them but still supply plenty of fuel. Why did you replace the engine, was not for same reason was it? If so check your fuel tank and lines for blockage. Be sure you have a good air flow also?

If you have a fitting without any shoulder for a wrench on it more than likely it is a press in and I would hate to remove it. I would first try the suggestions of pivoting axle and the grease buster. Have you tried seeing if you could depress the ball in the fitting with such as a blunt punch? They will stick shut also. One other thought but not likely, sure you are not using too heavy a grease for your gun? If you are bulking loading be sure of the grease you are using.

Back to your front axle, if that pivot axle runs through a sleeve bearing it could have a hole the grease must line up in. If a sleeve bearing slips the hole may not be lining up and try all you want you will not pump grease through it. If this is a pivot shaft you are trying to grease you might be able to remove it enough to loose up the grease path way as grease can dry out and make a good dam there.

The question you asked about a stump digger on the order of post hole digger is something I have wondered about a good bit. Which to me is the issue, a good "bit".

That make a small saw that fits on the 3pth and operated by the pto and lift you back into the stump cutting it off below bush hog height I know. Depending on where these stumps are and the rush you are in you can use large wood bits and hand drill to remove a good bit of the stump speeding up the rot process.

You can buy a product called "anti-seize" from most part stores. It is rather pricey and smears a long ways if you get it say clothes or seat. It might solve you issue or help solve your sticking pins. I have sliding lift arms on on of my tractors, the lift arms are not in the dirt and doubt very much dirt gets thrown over them, but some how enough to jam them gets in there.

Slide, meant to ask this earlier...the Ford "600" did Ford make a "600" or is there some number missing? Such as 601 or 641(?) or 6000? If it is in the 601 family I feel your pain.

Auerbach, you probably can adjust the size or how tight your grease gun grabs onto the fittings. At least some of mine you can do so by hand turning the end of the fitting on the gun.

At same time I have found if there is a lot back pressure on the grease gun it locks on the Zerk fitting.

Don't know your mower but two thoughts; is that the only adjustment for your belt and are you sure you got the right belt? It happens. Your dealership should be able to tell you the proper length and if you can not measure it they should be able to. You will be very close by making the belt and using tape measurer.
