You may wish to try ebay. As suggest try local Kubota dealership. Some can be right pricy (to me) but still worth it.

Also try looking at the different kinds of racks make for landscaping trailers. But you should be able to take say a 2 x 8 and using some 2 inch lumber for spacer be able to bolt another say 2 x 8 on to make a simple but very strong mount to drop the saw blades through for them to ride very well. Now the pole saw would not fit unless it is one the shaft comes apart on.

I take real exceptation to your comments that we did not try to console her. If you read all the comments real sympthy was offered by many and more than once. If she is your neice may you make a real effort to see that she had the support you admit and some here really said she needed. However, with the internet it is very possible people post false info and are not who they claim to be.

How long have you had this tractor? Is it new to you? Other than the running it at about mid throttle for that 15 to 20 minutes was the tractor just sitting there are was it being used? If so what kind of load on it? Any idea when it has been serviced, filters (all) and fluids changed. How long had it been since the tractor had been used without the problem? The fuel in the tractor, how long has it been in it? If recently added where did it come from? If you hauled the fuel was the container clean it was hauled in (water free)?

Based upon the limited info doubt it is overheating in that short of period and low of throttle but could be way wrong. In simple items it really sounds like something is stoppig the fuel flow. Air flow can also stop one but that does not suit some of what you are saying.

I normally buy fuel about 100 gallons at the time. The last tank I bought they were having a problem with that station's gas tank. But when I got home and went to use the diesel it was about 3 water blocker filters later before all the water was out of that fuel. It also required my draining the water filter or fuel seperator on the machines it was put in. (FYI the station closed the next day and is installing new tanks.) I had purchased fuel there many times as they are near me and sell off road fuel.

BTW, I am in Horry County.

I wonder if JD sold a lot more of the Gators how their tractor sales would be? The only green we have is a Gator and does not make me wish my pumpkins were green at all.

EW, realize you said one hour less of daylight but am guessing you mean their daylight ends one hour earlier. If that is it think you will find it is due to where in the time zone each area is. Michigan is on the western side of their time zone while Louisiana is more towards the eastern side. Now if you were getting up with the sun as most rural hard working people do you might notice they have daylight earlier than you do. Of course with the tilt of the earth you do get more daylight than the south per day but in the winter we get more.

Ken, I don't think the way you mentioned the holes that system is used here. We get light showers and very heavy downpours. An inch an hour is not unheard of. Two an hour is rather rare but with a good tropical storm does happen.

I would ask for the largest downspouts they can install so the needles are able to wash through as much as possible.

Frank I had forgoten about those home made cracklins! Never made a sandwich from them, just ate them like a snack. Those sold in stores today are nothing like the ones my Mom made. As to the pie crust, I could see it as you described it. This past Sunday night "I" tried making bisquits with lard, tasted good but looked like a rookie made them.

Have not been to cut feeder off yet but the area around the pond was logged almost two years back. Bless those northern loggers (they were from way up North, North Carolina :) ) they fell many trees into the pond and then were to pull them out but believe it or not they had some to float to far in or tops break off or such. We were going to drag those out and without seeing them had couple of experienced fisherman say to leave them for cover for the fish. Could that wood also furnish nutrients, I am right sure so.

EW, find you a real farm supply store (where farmers buy) for your chemicals. Better chemicals (read the percentage of the chemical) and better prices than Lowes at least here. Price the 2 1/2 gallon containers. Generics that are same chemical as Round up are as chemicals go cheap. Notice, have not priced any this year but have heard no one talk of major price changes. Here TSC is better than Lowes but again the real farm supply stores beat them.
