Saw a comment I think elsewhere about problem with deer eating their crops and said it proved they were an improvment over the cows they had been raising. Lower vet cost and other cost and the meat was great.

Sadly Ken not many Congressmen or Senators and for certainly the current adminstration will see that here. Wonder if even those on the agri committees visit such sites? TP ought to be required reading...what a great idea.

As typing this was Katy Kuric (spelling??) of CBS news were talking about how Obama's ratings is falling in Ohio as swing state and the year 2010 concerns them. But oh the damage already done by some from both parties and even those who claim to be of neither party.

I have no idea the design of that guage but if it bolts on have you check to see if they are snug? I have seen brand new bolt on ones crack due to just not be tighten evenly. It sure does seem hard to believe being over filled would cause one to leak if there is any kind of vent for the system.

Many are easy to find just look for a pair of wires running to say, under the seat, to pto switch lever, brake and clutch pedal area. To me it is easy to follow the wires to find the switches. If you have a way to check for currnet, see if it is to that switch and then through it when it is placed in the safe or disconnected postion. Or if you way to test, then using some sort of wire jumper by pass one switch at the time to see if you can find the problem. Just be sure you have the tractor safe when doing so, such as PTO off or trans out of gear.<br>

Did you see over the weekend where I think it is with American Airlines but may be wrong they have gone from throwing away dull bits and resharping them and saving something over a million dollars US per year? Supports what Murf has said over and over.

There is two reasons buying low end makes sense: probably will not be stolen, second you are able to keep telling about your NEW what ever. :)

Frank, can remember years back my FIL telling he could hear the tobacco grow when hot and plenty of rain at night when all was quite. Sadly never all quite anymore. Something special about a night with no man made lights or sounds at least once in a while.

When construction was running wide open here I noticed God had failed to put any dirt where man wanted it. Dirt from first area was hauled to second area. Dirt from second area hauled to third area. Dirt from third area was hauled to first area.

Frank, we are doing some of that mixing with clay and sandier dirt even now.

EW and Frank, not throwing off at anyone but had not seen any reply from the OP and wondered had we manage to run him away. But come on, we all pound out chest! :) I did today when I looked back at my rough cut mowing just finished. FYI, the dirt moving is going slow but going well.

It is not the 4 acres with the finishing mower that EW and Ken are talking about, rather the 25 with rough cut mower.
But I don't see much info on that 25 acres. Such as how often will you be mowing it, what is growing on it? Not sure what size rough cut mower either of those will handle but am right sure the max would be 6 feet. If you are cutting 25 acres very often with a 6 foot mower you will spend many hours on that.

If you have the parts you need to replace take them to your local tractor dealership. Many parts are not that odd and will fit more than one brand. It may be you will need to visit more than one to find a dealer who is able to think past the brand but they are out there.

Mark some times chasing those connections can about make you pull your hair out. So that is the bald spot?
I have worked some two evenings this week on tracking a ground issue on a machine and so far have decided...it will much easier to just run a new ground to what is not working.

This past Saturday had an odd thing to happen. Was running my excavator and realized it was loosing rpms. Stopped and pulled fuel water seperator bowl off sure it was water in fuel the way it did. No water! So what could it be. No idea how but the fuel cut off lever was in the off position. How did that happen? It had been running at about max rpms for an hour or more when it happened. So check cut off valves. Have about same filter assembly on my CUT and had it to get jammed and slip out of place. Never noticed that until I went to cut it off when changing filters and turn it all I want with no effect.

This one could have been mentioned and I missed it, when it does this are you able to spin off fuel filter or such to see if fuel is running free form the fuel tank or through the filter?

Case did have the rear 3 pth adjustment on at least some tractors. Not sure if an option or not. But I agree for a tractor of any size that would be nice. But then the lift arms on my Kubota's are not any problem to lift them by hand when I am hooking up. On my CUT the lever is very assesible both from the seat or at the right lift arm.

There are more than one quick hitch desing out there. The lowest price ones I have seen pin onto the end of your lift arms. I think there are two designs of those, one sets your lift point back about 4 inches and than can affect your tractor balance and pto shafts. Have also seen them that attached same way but raise the lift point as the hook point was on top of the lift arm. If you have interest info on such I would post that question on quick hits options.
