I think it is Swisher that makes a pull behind with own gas engine that will cut some over a ditch. Uses string. Looks sort of like the mobilus links to (which looks good). It has been years since I used a sickle bar cutter but think KAZAK5 could be correct.

I guess it is possible there is no fuse panel but hard to believe. If no fuse panel there must be some place where the power leads would split off. Track your postive battery cable. It probably will lead to starter relay but that should lead you to fuse panel.

oxboxx, have used shuttle very little and a few years ago. Do not understand how you believe you have lost control with the HST though. I do agree with earthwrks you need to bump your rpms up.

Local Kubota salesman told me he understood the engines would be out and allowing Kubota to compete in that market more freely. Probably there is a long term contract between Bobcat and Kubota but all contracts have a termination date and it could be soon. kt

Just wondered, who does Doosan (think that is correct spelling) use in their machines that size now? Could they even supply the need?

The telescoping lift arms are nice depending on what you are hooking up to. Did not know they used them on this size tractor, are you sure it is not the stablizers? Either way each is nice especially if you hook and unhook by your self to implements you can not easy move by hand. The cruise control I agree with Dennis on, you have to have long rows to use it. It is the only way you will use the brakes to turn with though. The 3pt position lift is by far the most important difference to me. Would not want a tractor that did not have it. kt

Not sure now which tractor has this options but if the 4 hp less then just take an ince narrower bit and go on. kt

Agri Supply sells 3 pt spreaders that are this brand and they do import a lot from Italy and other countries. Not sure the Cosmo spreaders are imports or not. Never have seen a chipper there. Agri Supply is easy to find on the web. kt

Cutter, two sites that here show a lot of equipment are "equipent trader" and "machine trader". Both should pop up easy in a search. Don't now remember which one has auction results section where you can look at sold units to get idea on what they have sold for. kt

There is some varance in prices from one region to another. I would contact another dealer say 60 or so miles away for a price. That should be close enough to work with if they offer better price. However, be careful, a few hundred dollars or so is not much compared to good dealership and service to a poor one. kt

Does your shifter use linkage if so my best guess is it is not adjusted correctly, worn enough to allow full shift or bent to prevent full shit or there is a stick or other trash preventing full shift. kt

DRB, some of those type of sleeve bearings are drilled for the grease to leave the zerk fitting into a grooved area to spread the grease. It might be possible it has moved enough the hole does not line up but you would have to see if that is the case. It also could just be dried out grease in the sleeve blocking new grease. That is where the tool Murf pointed out helps. If the fitting is not a press in, take it out and my suggestion would be a small drill bit turning it by hand to twist it through if dried grease. No way am I suggesting this to you but on my disk I had to redrill to get a couple of the fittings to accept grease. You run risk of bearing and shaft damage doing so. If you must go that way disassemble if at all possible. I guess it is possible wear of a sleeve bearing could produce a metal burr that could also seal the grease fitting hole. kt<br>

First, be sure to try moving the loader as Murf's first suggestion is. Play with it to get what ever slack there is on that shaft away from the grease fitting giving it what ever clearance there is possible.<br>

12" auger, small trees, flowers & shrubs? Oh yeah and big fence post! Post with concrete poured around them. You may find a lot of use for a 12" auger. Use carefully. kt<br>

I want to add to the Use Carefully comment I made. If you have never used a post hole digger in root and I would think rocks would be about the same they can and will catch and can be dangerous. Have seen tractor's front end picked up doing such. If getting the auger out is the only problem you are very fortunate.

MSW, been a while since I pulled a boat out of the water but what your sand is like and the grade will affect pulling it back up. You did not mention if the Jeep is 4 wheel drive and if you had to use that to handle the boat. I do not think the BX will pull as much as your Jeep does if a 4 wheel drive due to weight difference. But that does not mean the BX could not handle it.

Reading Dennis' concern about after you take the backhoe off...could you not leave the backhoe on and install a ball on the FEL to move your tailer? kt

Klen..the bit I have been in Texas I saw color, lots of brown and some green. Then a fair amount of red cattle. It is easy to notice what is different, the task is to see the beauty around us. kt
