For the record I learned youse guys from nephew who grew up in Dayton Ohio. Lady who works with me is from NORTHERN Ohio and she uses it.

As to some of the SINS you mention, some are very well spelled out in the Bible in very simple language. Some are not so well defined. Those you mentioned are well defined, just as homosexual is.

There are hyd cyls with valves to hold the load if the pressure is removed. If the cyls were installed by a factory that possibly/probably is the type of cyl you have. Of the cyls I have seen built this way the valve body shows up the outside of the cyl barrel. There may be another design with them internally but I would doubt it. It might be an OSHA or such regulation cyls on load lifting is to be of this type. There is the only use I have seen of them.

IF you buy the normal hyd cyl from a tractor supply business it does not have that valve.

Be warned, those valves can and do fail and what held last time may not this time. There have been many injuries and deaths from people trusting a hyd cyl to hold a load.

As to holding the bed up for water to drain, you might find just a block of wood between the body and the frame sufficient.

Did the cops car have a video camera? If so it should prove your case. At least on atttitude. If it has a camera and there is no tape, I would ask why? Would think a jury would wonder also.

Is it possible there was a sign for the intersection and the hay load blocked your view of it? If the cop was sitting on a road then it probably was an intersection.

I have no idea how hard it could be to be a cop alone in the field. You have no idea what he had just run into or a buddy of his did.

We all expect them to be professional but they are humans and often have a chip to prove they are the MAN.

The Long tractor is now the Farmtrac label. I know two different dealerships for them if you need a dealership help. They are both located about 30 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC.

I don't know the tractors you are talking about but a thought hit me from my ztr and wonder if it could apply to your tractor.

There is a combo of park brake and controls that does allow the blade to run with you off the seat because the mower can not be moved. Wonder if that could be true on your tractor? Such as out of grear and park brake set?

No doubt you have asked and read your manual. I am not sure the info for my mower was in the manual or the dealer just happened to tell me.

Ken,

A leaf blower in the bottom end of the down spout can clean them out some. The better seal around the leaf blower pipe the better job. Of course this is not a full clean out.

There is no wood that looks better than good finished oak. Stained and finsied! As to mixing more than one wood, it depends on the quality of the wood. If you look at very high quality wood it will often mix very well in a room. The cheap or man made stuff will conflict terribly. True on the wall or with different pieces of wood.

There are some many things to affect the wood and it's color over time: Moisture, sunlight, oil or dirt on your hands or anything else that rubs or touches it.

I suspect you will find wood left natural or unprotected in a few years is the wood you ask, wonder why they painted wonderful wood? As to the cedar in closets, for the value it gives to moth prevention, it is not only left unprotected but often is sanded to open up new pores in the wood for renewing the effect.

I have a Bush Hog brand and have been very pleased with it.
Look at your tip speed, and such as tickness of deck. Also look at type of bearings used in the wheel.

Consider if you want a side discharge or a rear discharge also.

Peters gave you good advice. What brand is available varies by region. You will need parts, such as blades depending on your use more than you might think. Especially if you can not find them conveniently.

Did you notice the ad for "Michigan Foreclosure List"? Maybe they need more tax breaks.

It is even more than just one state vs. another. It can vary a good bit from one county to the next or one part of a big city to another.

I knew a business that went bankrupt just north of me, moved two counties south (mind you in daily communte)to receive tax break and to be announed as this great NEW company to save that county by our then DUMB governor. THey were to dumb to realize it was same ownership, same business organization, same product, same management, but a new name. Oh well, who said politicans have common sense. Doubt many have a cut either. By the way. The new company went bankrupt also. Due to same dumb owner.

Not pretending to know much here but, are the cylinds the same size on the fel and bh for the two tractos? If so the lower gpm will have to operate slower the cylinders slower and thus the implement slower.

London was in the new last week for about same reason. Were passing a law banding the topless dress of it seems men with hairy chest and fat stomach as it was hurting business in town. Oh well, guess they don't offer weight loss programs there.

As to those nude beaches in Michigan, are they only open in Jan and Feb?

Cost is right cheap, take the fuel filter off and let the tank drain into a clear container or keep taking samples of the fuel as it drains into a fuel tank. Set it up and see if you don't find water or something else in your fuel.<br>
Watch the flow and it there is a restriction in the tank it probably will show. <br>

I had a wasp or such once in my fuel tank. No idea how he got in there but when the suction on the fuel line stopped (engine off) it would float free and the fuel would run, when it ran long enough it pulled the insect into the line, clogging it.<br>

A friend of mine who did rebuild injector pumps told me, buy fuel where they sell fuel. What he means is where they sell a LOT of fuel keeping fresh fuel. If you are not be sure you use a conditioner. If your tractor sits with the same fuel for a while it will go bad on you.

Last Saturday I had rear tire on my CUT go flat at once with no warning. Turned out the air pressure must have been so low when it came off of a small bank (about a foot) at a side angle the tire came away from the rim.<br>

I sure don't know your tractor but it sure would seem unlikely the pto broke right when you stopped using it.

Are you sure your pto drive shaft is on the tractor's pto shaft, with the guards that can be hard to tell. If it is try, with the tractor off, turning the tractor pto shaft with it engage and see if it does free spin.

Does your pto shaft have a shear pin that was almost sheared and popped right when you applied load to it?

Hopefully it is something very simple that in your rush of concern you over looked.

My ZTR is not light on the front end. This may vary with brand. As to climbing a steep bank, I can run right up about 30 to 45 degree fine. Now, let it be wet and you may not. As to pulling a trailer, have no idea but would think it could pull a lawn trailer fine. If you were to, do not install any hitch behind the rear guard on one as you will be hitting stuff when turning.

My only suggestion between the front mower and the ztr is where you will be cutting. I don't doubt with a single tree you can turn the large fmm around it fine. I have a double row of tress for privacy those mowers would never manuever around. I don't have trees or schrubs that cutting even two feet under would be needed that has low limbs. I think you will find the ztr can turn around in it's own lenght. As with any machine lenght can be a plus or negative. Longer normally rides smoother, but takes more room to turn.

The stand on ztrs, I do not like. I think you would find them unstable.

Bill, don't mind asking for let me try it first. Best way to know.

I believe you have been there reading your comments.

Some time back someone suggested wisely you should WALK over a piece of unknown land before cutting it. Good advice. Some other advice...know your stinging nest building flying insects. You probably will hit a nest or more and the tractor is much slower than they are.
