May I suggest also:

No sales tax on pickups if you live in the country.

Paint on oil pan, not sure who is doing what on painting oil pans but the last few on autos I have seen (floor too far last few years) have not been painted. My father in law's mid 70's chevy pickup came with no finish on oil pan. When he asked they told him it was to help it give off heat.

It is my impression these would not work with a RFM if for no other reason than the gearbox filled with oil. Would I be correct? Guess if that is the only hold back on RFM I could replace the vent cap with a plug while stored.

Thoughts on RFM?

There are two Long tractor dealers near me. A good friend purchased a tractor about two years ago and told me this week has waited for 3 months on a relay in teh circuit that shuts the engine off when the key it turned off.

Said one dealer could not get the relay and the other at least did not have the proper one.

Do you think this ia a supply issue or rather dealer issue?
Three months on a part wait is a loooonnnngggg time.

Understand the hurt. My next door neighbor was a sister in law and her family. She moved in the middle of the day while husband was at work and already had boy friend to move in with along with their children. How some people make the decisions they do is beyond amazing. Their divorce was just about 2 months ago. The hurt is very real in our household also.

But your furture ad hit me just now:

Wife wanted.
Must be committed to her family.
Needs to enjoy the outside.
Needs a few acres of rural land.
Needs a good barn and workshop.
Must have Kubota tractor with equipement.
Should be financially well off.
Would be nice if she can cook some.

As to your lift lever question there are those who will be 100% but based upon my 2 Kubotas one smaller and one larger than the L, I doubt if either of those lift levers start picking up the lift arms with the first movement of the lift lever. I am sure on my B model it does not.

There probably is some adjustment to that lever's position. You also could test it against another tractor there.

If you don't use the seat belt, of how much value is the ROPS?

A thought on your two inches to clear the barn, how about your rear tires air pressure? It might work to drop it to park the tractor and inflate it when you pull out. Will it take time, yep. Will it be fun, probably not, but an option possibly. Of course don't deflate the tires to where they would break loose from rim. That sure would be no fun.

The plastic lumber is out and has been for at least two years that I know of. It is sold by plumbing supply compnay here. Not a lumber supplier.

Plastic fence post are very common here. Some just using PVC pipe.

We have high ground moisture in many areas but the treated syp for in ground use seems to hold up very well here. Most of our's is treated by a local company who does business in their home town. Well they were local, bought by a Canadain firm just a few months ago.

FYI, a local steel company tells people they don't sell enough metal to keep yellow pine from twisting or bowing. I believe they are correct.

I use a RFM and a rough cut on my CUT with hydro. Esp. with the rough cut have found it very useful to cut some places in reverse. Now I am able to turn sideways enough to see very well and still be seated fully. Also as has been pointed out, SLOWLY. Enough when you do bump something there is no damage.

On some cutters the debris will discharge different than traveling forward.

Not sure on the basin wrench name either but think you are correct there (again).

If I understood you are saying to use the wrench made to tighten or loosen the faucet, not the drain.

You hit something here that must please some mfg and dealers: the number of machines sold that get low use and run out of warranty before some defects are found.

I recently had a much higher cost experience with another brand that had the machine been run near normal hours it would have happened during warranty period.

I may be missing something here but: it would seem if it is not working for any reason to do with the equipment or installation it would not be your responibility to prove why and so forth. It would seem if it has never worked it would be who ever sold and installed it to prove it was not their fault.

But I'm just that way.

Without rereading the total thread, it the mfg is a stockholder owned company, buy yourself ONE share. It will give you info not open to the general public. Might help.
