We have a great number of windshield repair/replace companies. If you do, you may find one of their installers is willing on his time to fix your leak for a low price. They should have better materials for the job than you might have. Unless there is a ton of rivets it would seem you could drill them out reasonable easy. Most are aluminum and drill fast.
It would seem a rear wiper would be a good idea. As to visibility without rear glass, when I had shell, I always used only outside mirrors. Guess too much stuff in shell.

I told a friend this morning to use ear muffs over ear plugs when cutting with his rough cut rotary cutter (Bush Hog). Why? So when the limbs hit your ears they are protected. Logger helmet better solution.

Sorry I did not make it any plainner than I did. I thought the dealer made a very strong effort. Made me feel bad for the work he put into it. They have blood hound noses it seems.

I have always been told do not put water (what ever solution you desire) in front tractor tires. Never given a reason. This morning was looking at a right new tractor and told the guy you probably will need weights on your tractor to which I was told not with the water in the front tires. His was install by Kubota dealer. My brother has also run water in his front tires (bigger Massey). My Kubota dealer told me do not put water in them. <br>
Any idea why you should not run water in the front tires or if it is truly okay?

Those that have used the synthetic oils, did you use the oil change recommendations of the oil? I "assume" syn diesel oil has longer change periods.

Knowing I am slow, from your earlier post it would have seemed what you purchased would have worked differently than you expressed. Just wondering, did you try chain as Murf suggested?
Thankfully we don't have snow, but how is it so different than moving dirt?

There are two Farmtac dealers within 20 miles of me. There are a good many Farmtacs in full time farm operations in our county. I think David said what they would say. It is what the dealers say.

It concerns me with some of the recent post on this thread and another that with the first of winter some are not getting enough time in fresh air. BOY WHAT TALL TALES. If they don't hit a funny bone it is just buried too deep under table muscles.

A few years ago our local police were assigning a number for such identification. If that is still done have not heard of it. Do not use your SS#. Phone number might be good. I have used the little plastic label makers and placed my name in places on/in certain valuable things where I could tell they were but not easy found. Under the seat, inside some lights, inside the breather, even inside a tire. You could use electric engraving tool also.
As to the key for a tractor, some vehicles have a circuit that a simple off/on switch in will not allow the starting of the engine. (Does not have to be hide. Many tractors have switchs added for such as after market lights.) Such as glow plugs not working even. Cut off valve in fuel line.
If tractor is parked where motion detectors can be install with light and or horn those also help.
I used to work for a heavy equipment manf, it would surprise you the number of serials numbers that each machine had and was recorded. Every hdy cyl, engine, trans and so forth.

Glad you like your tractor. "haggling" use to be an art form. The big box stores make us think it is not suppose to be done today. It will surprise many to learn even some of them will haggle if you ask. In some curtails it is expected. Now, a gentleman knows when he should not haggle either.

I have a CUT that loves a brush cutter. Be sure your cutter can safely handle what you want to cut without damaging it.

Now, this is a good place for someone to tell how you know which grade a bolt is by the markings on the head. Also I understand the same holds for nuts.

We need to give careful thought here. It hit me an allergy might qualify us for Federal Aid due to medical condition. However, protecting the "little" children might get us Federal Aid under some after school program.

We may have a qualification we need to be careful the way it is package.

Who knows how much it could be worth. Why if it is an allergy that causes this we might could get it reformated and use it to help the underweight people in this world.

As our youngest was married this past Saturday I will skip your thought. Also there is a long order time on those.

Not only is the water leak an issue and can be for many months but that is only the tip. The cost is much more than almost any equipment. However, if taken care of and treated properly nothing has such a high pay back ratio. Not in money, but swollen heart and pride. However, compared to most equipment when it is gone so are all cost, not so with children. Just because the place of garage changes, you do not loose all responability for them. Come to think of it, that is not all bad.

It is my understanding Dixon used to have a very complicated drive zero turn mower. That was before the hyd direct drive designs used by others and I assume them now.
What little complaints I have heard on them had to do with their old chain drive. No idea how well their newer machines are. Local Dixon dealership dropped them for another brand and then closed.
For our southern yards, mine has just gone brown. Not long that way at all.
Boy is a zero turn the way to cut grass.

Realizing I know very little here, a few years ago looking at different tractos this was pointed out by one salesperson. He said part of it came into how much importance "A" company placed on the hyd oil needs. Not just for the HST but also the rest of they system. The best I can remember he said something along the line with the more HP drop you are seeing more gallons per minute of capicity. I did notice at that time what he said did hold up with the companies specs being looked at.

From my experience it does seem the load placed on the HST might affect the PTO hp. Of coures anytime an engine has extra load placed on it in one area of use it has to affect the total output. If you stall your tractor with pulling, it stalls the same engine powering your PTO.
