My 08 pu came with all trailer hook ups functioning. My 04 chev I had to hook up the batt cable in the fuse block. Check your harness at fuse block should be a Batt cable if it's a factory system.

GR Have to ask are you pushing the clutch all the way down to engage PTO? I'm trying to remember but seems like it was a 2 stage clutch on those.

The spinning is normal for old tractors the heavy viscoicity oil drag them along.

However Murf may have it that it only partially engaged but I would think that with out pressure on the lever the grinding would stop.

The CHEAPEST way is a 55gal drum mark center on each end use hole saw cut exact diameter of pipe slide long pipe thru it leave 6 or so inches on each end. Get 2 6" sleeves that ID match OD of pipe install grease zerks weld hitch on fill barrel from from one end with concrete.

Mount it up. See if the front end is light 3-400 lbs is not much but it may hang back too far. Do you have a front loader? If not I'd see if I could drive up steepest part of snow blow area if front does not come up you are ok. If front comes up add weight til it stays put.

How much time do you have to do chores?

A wheelbarrow shovel and pick will do what you need to do just it's labor intensive and not very efficient. A 25 hp tractor will do it but you may be of it cutting roots with a axe. You will always find something you wish you had someting bigger. We do it at work all the time.

You should decide how much time you can invest in projects and if you haven't done this type of work double your estimate. How much money do you want to spend on operating expenses bigger costs more.

I did many varied and some commercial work with a 20hp tractor and did ok. New tractor is faster will do more but still wish I had bigger sometimes. Each will have its limits. I was extreamely happy with my little 20hp but time got the best of me and had to upgrade to a 35hp.

Mine does the same and it's a 4400 with a 430.

My understanding of it is: There are 2 dump sections of valve. Push lever a little to right slow circuit is in. Push hard all the way the fast circuit in. If you stop someplace right between them that is where the lag time comes in.

Seemed like I had got past the issue but lately I must have brain cramped it. I'll pay more attention and see if still true.

2 things come to mind either bad gas or bad plugs. If you comfortable with gas I'd change plugs.

Mine removed also. Try hook up rear finish mower with all shields. It has to be the worst design. What really frosted my butt tractor in shop (JD) and they would not release tractor back to me until shield back on.

JDGREEN's fix seems to be the correct low cost fix. I have over 40+ hours onsince change do dad. 9 hours straight heavy use today skidding logs then 3+ hours pto rpm mowing.

Tractor keeps starting fine. Has not done that this many hours straight in a long time.

I'll have to say if tractor bothers starting change the do dad.

WOW 11 MPH doing tight turns???? I know it not sound very fast but that is moving on grass. I typically mow at 3-4 mph and I consider that fast for a real tight turn with tractor and turfs.

ZT Ferris will mow at 8mph and no way can that make a tight turn at that speed. On pavement you better be hanging on tight if you try a 180 turn.

John Deere should still have them.

If you are looking for non green because of price I would take it to a weld shop and have them repair. They can cut out the bad reuse the universals and connectors jig them and put in new telescope parts.

What nice about LP you can get factory Hi-Lift blades. I mow right along at 3.5" and yes you can see where tractor has been. But the grass is pulled up and cut.

Besides the neighbors will get tractor track envy.

I also mow diffrent patterns every time.

Sounds like an electric issue. Fuse, broken wire, relay, selnoid.

Does the selonoid click? If not check wiring, relays, fuses.

Relays unplug spray contacts with wd40.

Selonoid clicks mebe not pulling in. Unbolt slide out a quarter inch tractor should start. Push back in key on if tractor shuts off you have solved problem.

Temp at 200 and clutch slipping there is no a connection.

Sounds like a misadjusted clutch you need to have about 3/4 to 1.5 Inch free travel.

UPDATE: I went thru the credit card company they were very helpful. Many hoops to jump thru. Time lines to meet and 30 business days plus other stuff.

Mowproducts did finaly refunded my money. THEY WAITED RIGHT DOWN TO THE CREDIT CARDS TIME LIMIT! I am not so sure that the credit card company had to contact them.

IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY WHEN I DEAL WITH A LOW LIFE BUSINESS LIKE THAT!
