Does this happen only when the hitch is fully raised or at any position?
I had this happen with a regular farm tractor and it seems like it was related to an adustment on the position lever trying to make the hitch raise too high.

TSC type stores used to have the heavy canvas "Heat Houser" type that went up along side the engine to bring some heat back to the operator. They had a universal frame that would fit most tractors. I haven't saw one for years but they may still be available. Before tractor cabs became common most every farmer with livestock chores had one on a chore tractor.

I was on fresh non compacted "gravel", (crushed limestone).
On compacted gravel you are correct, and I wouldn't have needed the pipe rollers, the 4 X 6 skids would have slid fine.

OK, now just to clarify a point. I think "gravel" is a loosely used term to describe most any form of aggregate spread on a road.
Here the loose term "gravel" usually means crushed limestone. But before crushed limestone was so readily available the old timers did use red gravel from gravel pits on the roads here that was a mix of non screened small round pebbles with red soil mixed in. The crushed limestone wa a big improvement because it does interlock as you say to make a more firm road when it rains, the red gravel just went to mush in a rainy spell.

I'd go along with the priority or diverter valve, both the same thing I think. I had a Case 1370 tractor once that was the opposite, the power brakes wouldn't work till you did something else hydraulic powered, turning sterring wheel a bit made them kick in. The brakes would still stop the tractor but they were non power assisted. Scarry at times.

Hey, thanks for all the update on what's happening in the world of electronic gadgets, or may be I shouldn't call them gadgets anymore. They are tools of the trade now, and I'm certainly not against progress, All my kids use them in their trades like I used John Deere tractors in my trade.

Please keep one hand on the stick, (if they have sticks anymore), while you are looking at that itty bitty screen, we'd miss you around here.

What size is being quoted for 900.-1,000.?

Auer, How much is 1,550. in Arkansas dollars? I don't keep up on the money exchange rates, mine is all consumed here so I don't have any extra to spend up north.

Quite a few years ago the local Co-op got some diesel that was real high in wax. Anybody that didn't have their tractor in a heated shed had a problem, me included. I must have gone thru a half dozen fuel filters and a couple jugs of PS before I got that fuel blended down enough to not wax up the screens and filters. Yes, diesel fuel drizzeling off your hands and elbows at zero or however cold it was isn't a neat deal. Never had it happen since, but always put some PS in even in the summer. Frank.

Being I have no experience with a Koti I can't advise you on what hose should be connected to what, I am only giving general information that applys to most brands. You need an owners manual that explains how things go, or perhaps someone here on the board has a manual that can walk you thur the correct steps. I know nothing of a Koti hydraulic system but some brands have no relief valve in the circut unless the hoses you disconnected from the hoe are reconnected correctly, so I wouldn't start the engine till you have things back as they should be. I was just out to the shed and measured my Land Pride rear mount finish mower. I had always thought it was seven ft. but it is eight ft. wide cut width. It has been a good machine, but not a front yard mower unless your lawn is pool table flat. I don't remember what it cost but lots less than a wide wing type. I use it for road ditches and field waterways that are too rough and have tougher grass that a regular lawn mower isn't really meant to do.

I just checked the owners manual for my XUV and it doesn't give engine oil recomendation for a diesel, they must have a different owners manual for diesel models.
Just guessing here but I would think yours would call for a diesel rated oil of whatever grade Deere redomends. Check for with your dealer for sure. Frank.

Every now and then one of those will show up on CL here usually a Deere or NH about the size of the 3520 in a big full color picture with all the description of everything coming with it. Most always a tractor/backhoe attach/blade/boxscraper/mower deck on and on with 300 hrs. or less all for 4999.00 or some ridiculis price. I hope nobody falls for it, either stolen or a more likely a scam.

You are correct, I've never owned a diesel pickup or car big or small, but have over the years owned many diesel farm tracors and combines. As I said before my only desire for the early Chevy diesel cars was for the novelty of it. As you have said you with all the over the road miles can justify the added cost of the diesel engine. With higher maintenence costs, a friend of mine for example got rid of his GM diesel pickup when he was shocked that an oil change, fuel filters, etc. was over a hundred bucks compared to less than thirty five for a gasoline pickup.
I see lots of old rusty Dodge/Cummins or Ford Power Strokes running around with less that a hundred thousand that farmers bought for a to town and back pickup that are junk except for the engine, the owners get tired of them and trade long before the diesel has paid for its'self. A lot of the grain elevators who jumped at the diesels only had one or two because nobody took care of them and they ruined the high dollar engines. Since I retired from the farm I bought an 07 Chevy half ton new with the small V8, 4X4, automatic that even amazed me with an easy 20+ mpg on a road trip, but with a bit over 20K miles so far a diesel would have been a poor choice for me. Just tellen it from my side of the fence. Frank.

I never tried this but a friend told me once how to find where a wire is broken underground. Tune an AM battery radio to the low end of the dial below 550 so that it is all static. Move it along the route of the wire just above the ground, the static either gets worse or stops, I don't remember which when you reach the break in the wire. I'm not promising this will work, but this guy is an electrician.

Sorry, I should have did some research before my prior post. I thought a BX2350 was a mid twenty HP. tractor, but now I discover they are rated at 16 HP. and didn't find much more about one as to PTO size, three point hitch size, etc. Perhaps your first call should be to a Kubota dealer to see what size, etc. tiller is recommended. Frank.

One of my uncles had a John deere No. 6 corn sheller on an old Ford truck with a flathead V8. When you got the sheller set up to a crib, you switched the driveshaft behind the transmission over to the sheller drive, a pretty simple spring loaded affair, then you switched the accelerator pedal linkage to a governor driven off the fan belt. Anyhow this little spring loaded dohickey one on the acelerator linckage and one on the governor rod would interchange onto a ball on the carburetor throttle lever with just the push of your thumb to slide a little clip to get it on or off the ball. This was in the fiftys and sixtys so this is far from new technology, I really don't know where to search but it seems somebody would have some of them left.
