Wow! You have no idea where she is? I would have to try and hunt her down if it took my last dime to do it. Once I found her I would have three hots and a cot courtesy of state correctional facility most likely.

My youngest son's ID was stolen from his beach bag while he was stationed in California. He was naive enough to think he could watch it while he was surfing. He always has to learn things the hard way that one.

Took him years to fix everything. We helped as best we could by phone but the Navy lawyer fixed most of it. There were credit purchases made, cell phones purchased and even a business opened using his ID. What surprised me is that the authorities never really went after the people that did these things. They had to have had addresses, especially for the business.

It is finally cleared up, he just purchased a home. BUT..he knows he needs to constantly check his TRW reports to note activity.

Sorry to hear you had such a terrible time. I don't know how you can deal with the anger. Did you say you were with this woman for 15 years or just knew her that long?

On the brighter side, even regular married folks have almost the same things happen when a relationship goes south. And most of it is legal! One unsuspecting spouse has all his/her bank accounts drained, huge credit card bills and then the dump job while the other half runs off with someone else. Seen that happen a number of times.

My niece married a great guy, him single for thirty some years and she is a tramp. A few short years ago he had a small ranch that was paid for, money in the bank and life was good. Now he has a huge new place, huge mortgage, she disappears for the night regularly, she drained his savings to buy drugs and ran up several credit cards to pay for them as well. He gets to work seven days a week to try and prevent foreclosure. I believe he is building a case to take custody his two small children and get rid of her. Hope he is successfully.

What would be the optimum edge? I had to hit the OEM blades with the angle grinder due to the severely blunt "cutting" edge. I then filed flat. I tried the hollow grind, but it would have required taking so much off the blade I figured I would ruin it.

Are there any updates on the golf cart escapades? The four wheeler was handy enough but not a real go getter in the snow. That is once it got over two feet deep :> The last of the several feet we had developed a crust and I was riding around on top of it prior to the thaw.

The wife had a fit the first time I zipped her across the front yard over to the restaurant for her Friday fish. Hasn't been on it since. Really has been handy, carrying my "stuff" back and forth to the barn. Stopped at Gander Mountain and checked out all the options, love that four point cage that can carry a ladder! How is your Yamaha coming along Art!

Nice place Wildman! I have been looking for something similar to what you describe but the masts I find are all measured in inches. I have decided to dry-dock one more season to get the craft where I want her, so I have the summer to manufacture one if I have to.

Thanks Chief. It is out of the way of everything, including tree branches and my head. The caution light is actually on an extension plate and sits under the middle of the ROPS, the work lights are as well. They sit pretty much in line with the outside of the ROPS on their own bracket extensions welded to the main bar.

My 2910 had two options, a 52" bucket and a 60" bucket. I am told the smaller is the heavy duty and the larger is for light material. There is some discussion in the archives about them. I have the 60" and have seen it flex under some heavy stress but don't care. If it bends I'll fix it, I don't want a smaller unit.

I would tend to agree with Art. I have owned both orange and blue, even the dealer's mechanic (services both brands) says he would buy the orange due to the repair history of blue. But the blue is more comfortable to use, in my opinion.

Good point. I have been sold on eye protection since my early days as an instrument maker apprentice. The old 50's style glasses they supplied you with did not look fashionable but at the end of a month you could see the nicks in the glass from the metal chips that hit them, great antecedent.

The more fashionable eye-wear supplied by companies such as Crews, Winchester and other big names are inexpensive and rival the $100 designer non-safety glasses on the market. I tend to wear them whenever possible, even to the extent of using indoor/outdoor for driving at night should I become involved in an accident. Regardless of ones occupation, sight loss would take most people out of the job market, not to mention almost every other activity.

As a Kubota dealer are you aware of this recall Art? What I found was a connection/location problem but all I did was slightly move the plug away from the contact. Still works but perhaps there is a better fix?

Been using that method of lawn raking for years, too much of it to try and bag or vacuum. Only problem I have is due to the chute direction it is necessary to continue in one direction,lots of backing. I don't know about the Deere 72" but the 5' I had along with the NH and Kubota don't blow very well backing up. Usually end up going over the area in reverse and forward as well to bring them to the final destination (woods).

I wish I had taken pictures of the two stumps I moved with the 2910. One was a willow that I had dug with the excavator and removed from the hole with the Kubota. It was as large as the machine, could only lift enough to roll it out and then pushed it into the woods. The other was a pine stump with a root ball the size of my truck. Same deal, but had to move it across the lawn. I hooked a chain to it once out of the hole and pulled it to the woods, not much damage to the sod fortunately. I do know the 4100 digs well, had one. I would like some of those teeth for my loader, would really help. Are they easily removed?

Only thing I recall reading was about someone breaking a front axle, but It had to do with a sudden drop with a fully loaded bucket. Can't even remember if it was on this board.

Sounds as though the wife had good instinct regarding the car. Was a sad moment last night when I parked the Cherokee for the last time, it went 50k and the only $$ I put in it was to turn the rotors and replace pads. A couple of things were done under warranty, the most serious was a front wheel bearing. Blew through two sets of those in my S-10 over a period of 100k. I can't believe how well these new tires wear. Those Michelin's were still in excellent condition with probably 25k left in them.

She drove it to the city today and was a bit nervous but the report came back with a thumbs up, so we shall see if she keeps it the 60k it is covered bumper to bumper.

I'm with you Tom. I still have some Black and Decker tools from the early seventies. Also have a Thor drill from the 50's, recently had to repair the cord! My Sawsall is a piece of junk, everyone I asked prior to purchase at the time said that they are the best but I believe they meant "used to be". I have a Ryobi rechargeable drill that I used unmercifully for twelve years and now I can not get a battery for it for less than $100. Guess what I did rather than pay that price, went to the B&D outlet store and bought saw and drill combo for $140, local box was selling them for $200. The new stuff actually works well, not near the quality of my Riobi but I refuse to pay that kind of money for a rechargeable battery. I tend to pay more for tools that last, but for the occasional use a less expensive tool is not always an unwise choice.

When I lived on a private road along the lake shore, I had to plow my way in and out as the only year round resident with a 4x4. Narrow road with a ditch on one side, easy to end up in trouble. I used to run chains on the front of my plow truck during heavy storms, I could always get into a spot, just sometimes could not back out. The extra traction provided by the plow weight and front chains when backing out of spots allowed you to lessen the strain on the drive train. I figured the same would be true for a tractor/loader so I placed those same truck tire chains on the front of my TC29 when I was plowing with it. Not as marked a difference, but certainly a help. Have not had to do that with the Kubota as it has much better traction. I am unsure if the difference is due to tire brand or PSI when comparing the footprint, although I calculated that and both machines come out fairly close.

I do have a website, just have not had time all summer to spend building/utilizing it. I am still dealing with ice storm damage, have a hand coming today to help chop roots and landscape the area where I removed four trees a couple of weeks ago. Worked on the electric for my barn yesterday and then took the boss out to dinner. Company dropped by, a few toddies later it is 0200hours, ouch! Waaaaayyy past my bedtime.
